  1. You mean they were so insulted by the way they were being treated that they left? Aye it worked, but hardly a shining example to other players coming in is it?
  2. Its not that he doesn't want to be here, it's more that he wants to be with his family. Trust a United fan to be negaive. And as a United fan do you not find it disturbing that five of your first team were told they were no longer required when you still had matches left last season and some of them were required? Smacks of poor man management to me, no wonder United lack motivation and are the league's underachievers. And as far as the house situation goes, I've heard that the crack is that new builds can be made available for the full market valuation but obviously anyone offered this would get it fixed price and not have to compete with other bids. Could be a tidy investment for a midfielder with a young family :003:

We're doing him a favour by turning down his transfer request. If he hangs on with us and continues to play well then maybe a truly big club will come in for him, rather than letting him go to United for whatever paltry amount of money they think he's worth. There's no guarantee Brewster will still be in charge of United at the end of the season anyway, and then where will he be? Warming the bench for a First Division club again?
  4. Like Zoology? :015: No, I would probably choose meteorology for another first degree but after having watched "Journeys from the centre of the earth" and "Journeys into the ring of fire" I'm quite tempted to do a PhD in Plymouth with the lovely sexy and mad Dr Iain Stewart :003: :003: :003: Well done Caley D for passing your exam, did your fellow student pass as well? Will I ever be able to use public transport again? :001:
  5. Oh and my team is called Abracadaver :003:

    Andy Murray

He beat Moya last night and is playing Nieminen today. JB, don't suppose you taped the Murray - Henman match? If you see this in time will you tape his match tonight? :003: Or the final if he makes it? :001: Hope I;ve not jinxed him now :001:

    Well done Andy! :003: :003: :003:
  9. Aberdeen won 4-2 I missed most of the first half but apparently our goals were from Richie Hart (deflection from a free kick) and Rory McAllister, (a good volley, very well taken goal) Very windy night, summer's definitely over! Proctor did very well, we should keep him!
  10. He would just be confused by the stains JB :015: And RiG, my Highers weren't so long ago that I can't remember how hard they were! I reckon its because at school they make you do subjects you're not interested in but at Uni you've chosen your courses to suit what you're interested in. I got relatively lower marks for my highers than for my degree, and most of my finals revision consisted of sitting on the beach half heartedly reading through textbooks! I wouldn't do Highers again for anything but I would do another degree, they're so easy! :001:
  11. :015: :015: :015: Well they were!
  12. IMO Highers were way more difficult than degree finals, so good luck all those waiting for results! Well done ITN Jnr, looks like you got a good haul there :003:
  13. You can get the Setanta highlights for free though, Not sure if it's the same crack as last season as Ive been working both Sundays so far. They're also available to download if you know where to look! I've slept through both Scotsports so far but it could hardly be any worse than it was!

    Reserve fixtures

From the Official site - note change of date from SPL site The first reserve league fixture of the season takes place on Wednesday 9th August at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Aberdeen are the visitors and the match kicks off at 7pm. Admission prices are as follows :- Adults - £5 Adult season ticket holders - £3 Concessions - £1
  15. Record "United remain interested in Inverness right-back David Proctor, despite having had a bid knocked back on Friday. Caley Thistle are believed to be holding out for £40,000 for the 22-year-old and the clubs remain around £10,000 apart in their valuations. More discussions will take place this week and he is likely to become a United player by the weekend. Brewster will have more space freed up in his budget if David Fernandez completes his move to Kilmarnock."

Freesat customers are the lowest of the low - we don't even get E4! He's not doing too well in the second set, is it his serve letting him down again?

    Andy Murray

Andy's playing now in the final of the Legg Mason ATP Classic in Washington. It's his first tournament since Brad Gilbert became his coach, he's a break up in the first set :003: :003: :003: I think I just jinxed him, he's lost the first set on the tiebreak :006:
  21. I can understand it too but only cos I'm a genius :015: Think of those less fortunate than yourself :015:
  22. Rearrange those words to make a sentence RiG :015:
