Didn't realise Gil Blumstein played for the fans team.

Marcotti summed up my thoughts quite well in the Sunday Herald basically saying that possession for possession's sake was fun while it lasted but now it's just another option rather than a tactical imperative. This is how I see it. Football has moved on and adapted. Germany now play an exciting mix of possession play but attack with ruthless pace when the opportunity presents itself, especially on the counter. I'm not saying we're as good as Germany but Hughes needs to have a think about what he's trying to do at ICT if we are indeed going to go down the retain the ball at all costs approach we seem to be utilising for the most part these days.

I stumbled across ex loan signing Alex MacDonald on Twitter. Aside from having rancid chat like most footballers I noticed that he's just come off a magnificent season with Burton Albion where he scored 0 goals in 41 games. #Baller

RB and up front fair enough but there's not much point spending wages on another CB when Meekings and Warren have been so consistent there and we also have the very capable Devine waiting in the wings.

Slew was the lad who tore us apart at New Year but he barely scored for them. As mentioned it was one goal in twenty odd games. Reminds me of Tade to be honest. Don't think he would improve us. De Leeuw is mint but there is no chance of us getting near him unless we offer silly money for him which we don't have. Arquin has rubbish facial hair so he shouldn't be considered.
