Ross County -V- Inverness C.T.
Some interesting comments from Mckay in the Press and Journal today. Sounds like a plea to retain wingers in the side to give him chances. "Having Watkins and Doran in was a big help as they gave us good width and both of them played really well tonight. They helped me focus on my own game of getting into the box."

- Should Hughes be SACKED?
Personally I thought we were back to our usual fast paced, direct style of play tonight rather than the slower, short passing game that was on show in recent fixtures. Maybe Hughes was trolling us all this week to sucker Adams in?- Forever in the Shadows

In the Mallard with 4 other ICT fans. Doesn't seem to be many away supporters across here.- Crowd for County
I'll be there with the usual suspects. Looking forward to being rejected by Charlie Christie again when I offer to buy him a drink.- Should Hughes be SACKED?
Sound familiar? (Link to post on P & B) Also this post, also on P & B, from a Falkirk fan which I am sure was referenced in other Hughes threads on here.- Should Hughes be SACKED?
Is P&B really that old? Been on the go since January 2003.- Should Hughes be SACKED?
All of what is being said on these pages is exactly what fans of Falkirk, Hibs and Livingston were saying on Pie and Bovril when he was appointed. None of this should be a shock to anyone.- Team for county
Dimensions inflated just like their crowds!! I think our crowds have been inflated recently too!- Team for county
According to the SPFL website our pitch dimensions are the same as those in Dingwall.- Rank ICT Managers

I'm actually quite content with that though I suspect I am in a minority. I am offshore at the end of April / start of May so I am quite happy that one of the game I am missing is one v Celtic. I don't enjoy those games to be honest and ones at Celtic Park even less. I had pretty much resigned myself to missing two games but at least one is a game I had intended to miss anyway.- Should Hughes be SACKED?

f**k off Hughes. Our goal was good. That's about it. Absolutely no width. Played a central midfielder at right wing (and later right back), our left back at left wing, three central midfielders who looked like they had never met before. Odd then that 3 wingers sat on the bench. McKay looks more and more isolated up front by himself. Shinnie was rightly MotM for us and Christie looked good as well. We can play all the pretty passing along the defence and the half way line but we have no clue what to do with it when we hit the final third. We were so successful because we were quick to attack and direct. This doesn't mean long ball at the time but when we had the chance to attack we went for the jugular. Hughes has strangled our attack and forced everything to go through the middle of the park. We are so slow to attack teams get men behind the ball and task us to play through them which, more often than not we can't do. Well were solid but didn't have to be any great shakes. Their first goal was a long punt down the pitch which caught out our defence and Anier slipped in between Warren (I think) and Esson to slot the ball home. The second goal was much better. A rapid counter with 4 or 5 quick passes played in Vigurs and he easily dispatched the ball past Esson. Crowd was really disappointing. Less than 2,400 but in truth I think it was even less. The only game left that means something now is the Derby on Friday.- Should Hughes be SACKED?
We could start a Latapy Must Go thread?- Contract Situation
I'll be pretty disappointed if Future World Player of the Year ® Connor Pepper does move on. After seeing him beef Alan Maybury and expertly finishing past Williams I thought he was going to go on and achieve great things at the club. Hope he stays. If he does I'll buy him a happy meal in McDonalds.- Mr Angry
You often bring it up in such a negative tone it's almost impossible not to infer that you have some kind of issue with "outsiders" coming along to ICT games. Personally I couldn't care less where people come from to support us. Those who turn up to support ICT home (and away) are great in my eyes. We are hardly in a position to turn folk away from our matches or criticising those who do attend. It's a shame that more folk don't turn up but that topic has been done to death. Instead of repeatedly dragging it back up from the depths and if you don't have a problem with so called outsiders coming along to the games what exactly are you doing to try and get some of your fellow Invernessians along to matches aside from moaning about it on an internet forum? As for your final sentence grow up and stop throwing petty insults around like a spoilt child. It's absolutely pathetic.- U-17 Derby Match

Someone must know him as there can't be many that have such an accent amongst all the incomers Dougal Interesting that it seems to bother you that people not from Inverness attend ICT games. I had you pegged for many things dougal but not a bigot.- Team for Midweek v Motherwell.
As many central midfielders as possible!
