Whilst I agree that doesn't help the defence to move the ball away from goal I don't think passing it to someone who isn't looking helps matters either. Is there a communication issue there perhaps?

Agree that little got past him but his distribution out of defence was very poor.

One of my pals just got back from a holiday in Malta where Stuart Duff plays. As he was there with Duffs brother they decided to take in one of their games. Apparently the standard is so abysmal out there Duff is viewed as a 'Xavi' type player in the team

The answer is obvious - Esson remains in goals and Tuffey plays up front.
  7. He's a Ross County fan!!!111!! :irritated: :irritated: :irritated:
  8. Dalneigh Caley earlier today:
  9. Tansey would have been sent off for 'serious foul play' not 'violent conduct'.
  10. No idea. I didn't see anything in the challenge to warrant a red card. From that angle it looks like Samaras has pole axed Tansey with an elbow to the throat!
  11. You really need to look up what constitutes violent conduct.
  12. There seems to be a huge fixation on the fact that Tansey looked at Samaras therefore it was a warranted red card. I can only assume these people who follow this train of thought have never played football as you are continuously looking round to see where your opponents or team mates are. Some of posts on the Daily Record site have to be seen to be believed.
  13. I'd be interested to hear your thinking as to why it does constitute 'violent conduct'.
  14. That's actually a point I was going to make. The attendance was something like 6,400 odd IIRC. That's well below what we used to get against the Old Firm. Is it the recent poor form, financial climate or how games against the Old Firm normally go? Regardless, I was a wee bit disappointed with the turn out from ICT.
  15. You need to learn the laws of the game I'm afraid. That challenge would not be construed as violent conduct according to FIFAs laws of the game.
  16. I didn't give you a red dot. I'll ask again - what law of the game meant that it was a warranted red card for Tansey?
  17. What law?
  18. Disagree. I think if ICT went down and County went up it would be very good for County!
  19. So long as we don't go down then I don't really care who does come up. If it is County then it will be good to have the derbies back, especially if it was to be in the SPL.

  21. Mind boggling. Utterly mind boggling.
  22. Butcher printed that off and put it up in the dressing room

  25. More than willing to have some humble pie regarding Andrew Shinnie. I thought he was very poor against Aberdeen but he has come onto a right good game recently. Hope there's more to come from him especially in this second half.
