squeeky bum time
If ICT lose all of their games, Dunfermline win their remaining three, Hibs win two out of their three (which includes a loss to Dunfermline) then, by my reckoning, we would go down. Is this right?

Kilmarnock -v- ICT
Just back into Aberdeen but I don't care enough about the game to post anything about it just now. What happened today was an absolute tragedy. As soon as we saw the lad go over we started screaming for help as it was clear something bad had happened. Sadly the help he received wasn't enough. Completely heart breaking to watch it all unfold before your eyes and of course it will only be worse for his, I assume partner, who was at the game with him. Thoughts are with family and friends at this difficult time.

Will Next Season Be Butcher's Last?
A bit more digging seems to suggest he was with us on trial ~ September 2010, wasn't offered a deal and later signed for Airdrie Utd in January 2011. Signed for United that summer (roughly).

Will Next Season Be Butcher's Last?
With regards to GMS if I mind right we didn't offer him a contract but Butcher wanted him to stay another week on trial to further asses him. Airdrie stepped in with a "formal" deal and off he went.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
First off - chill. I just didn't understand your post that's all. From what I saw it looked like Foran ran forward, checked back and started again. However he did all this in his own half. Regardless of the position of the Aberdeen defenders he could not be offside if he is running from inside his own half. At the end of the day it made no difference to the result. Just had a look at the goals on the BBC website. Gads sums it up quite nicely I think.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
I must be misinterpreting your post but are you saying that you think that was a good call as Foran was offside whilst in his own half?

ICT -V- Aberdeen
Might ruffle a few feathers here but did any one really care about that result today? Normally I'd be gutted about losing but after one win in eleven I found myself resigned to defeat even before the game had kicked off today. The only thing that was surprising was the manner of the goals. When that second one went in that was just the excuse I needed to get away from the ground. I just didn't give a toss about today's match and I think that a number of other fans are now like that as well.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
When Proctor went on he slotted in at the back whilst Williams was moved up top. This was for an increase in our aimless long balls which Williams could, in theory, have won. Winall wouldn't have offered that same option.

ICT -V- Aberdeen
I can't bring myself to type anything extensive about this game. When Aberdeen scored their fans cheered for about 10 seconds then sat back down. Summed up the apathy towards this game from both supporters. Attendance was around 3,500 which for an ICT v Aberdeen game is atrocious. The match report by the Sportsound lad summed it up well. Completely abysmal. How we are not further down the league I have no idea. Comedy moment was provided by the stand side linesman who flagged Foran as being offside despite being inside his own half as he was flagged. Well done.

Hardly surprising to be honest. What is surprising is that Winall is still here...

MacGregor Comments?!?!
The big question is will MacGregor go to the Ross County games on the Sunday against the Old Firm?

That club from Dingwall
And Steven McGarry. Though he did at least score a wonder goal against us in Inverness.

Post Split Fixtures - Out Now
Unless I take some time off work mid week I'll only be able to make the game against Aberdeen at home. Good post split fixtures though to be fair.

ICT -V- St Johnstone
Did people notice that Tansey was actually playing further forward than usual last night? Foran and Tudor - Jones were the defensive midfielders and Tansey pitched up in front of them. However more often than not it was Foran who broke furthest forward of the three to support our lone striker.

ICT -V- St Johnstone
Interesting to read that some folk think it was a stonewaller (including the radio team - did it include Brian Irvine by any chance?). It was right in front of me and it looked like two players running alongside each other then one fell to the floor. Maybe I missed something else but regardless of that decision we deserved nothing from that game as we were horrible. It was actually a bit like the Aberdeen game the other day with the visiting team sitting back and the home side having a lot of the ball but doing nothing of note with it. I cannot think of many good chances for ICT tonight. Tade and Mckay both passed up excellent chances to open the scoring for us in the first half. Foran had a reasonable chance with a header in the second. I think that was it? The longer the game went on the more obvious it became that we were not going to get anything out of it. That side was one of the most one dimensional sides I have seen in a long time. We are so flat and predictable. There was almost zero creativity and without Hayes we have no pacey and direct players that provide us with some sort of threat out wide. Tade and Sutherland just don't do it. The midfield has plenty of "bite" but there are no players who can play a key pass to slice open a defence or offer the forwards support from the middle of the pitch. Tudor Jones played so deep he was almost like an extra CB. Up front we were utterly toothless although in fairness after the early chances for Tade and Mckay the forwards had little else to feed off. If we continue to play like that from now until the end of the season we could be a lot closer to the bottom than we are now but we might just have done enough earlier in the season to see us safe. On the plus side Tokely was excellent. He reminded me a lot of Darren Dods with his approach to his defending. No nonsense - just get it clear. Oh, and we took a throw in quickly as well. That's about it. To add in something about Saint Johnstone I would say that they weren't great but they didn't have to be. An easy game for their players and barely had to get out of second gear I would say. I cannot think of many times when your defence was overly troubled by us and Morris bossed the midfield. He was excellent and kept things ticking over nicely for Saints in the middle of the park. Sheridan was quiet but Sandaza was a bit more lively. He converted the penalty well but was perhaps lucky not to be sent off after being booked and committing a number of bookable offences thereafter but I doubt if ICT could have profited from any dismissal. About 200 Saintees up for the game who made some reasonable noise. I doubt they will have been overly concerned at what they saw from ICT tonight and will be relishing our visit in a couple of weeks.

Will you say aye to the vat pie
Here's a mad idea - how about the Government start getting back all of the tax that companies like Vodafone and Goldman Sachs (?) owe instead of finding new ways to tax the already over taxed general public?

ICT Videos
I'm sure there is a topic with ICT videos on here somewhere but I can't find it. If someone can find it feel free to merge. Anyway, I happened to be browsing on You Tube and came across this golden oldie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLbKuqiHh-c

Kilmarnock - My Heroes - Woohooooo
Lennon is a total bellend. That is why folk here don't like him - nothing to do with where he is from. He a classless goon.

Fabrice Muamba
Has anyone been watching this on ESPN? Horrible scenes on the pitch with the guy collapsing with no one around him and then convulsing on the pitch. The game has been postponed and Muamba is on his way to hospital having received CPR on the pitch and as he was carried off. The defibrillator was brought out almost straight away as well indicating just how serious this incident was. Truly awful viewing.

They are top of the League below.
I think that's County bottled it now. Fully expect Falkirk to go on and win the league after that result.

Thomas Piermayr
That was horrible! No footballer should foul throw. EVER!
-
Thomas Piermayr
I don't think ability to take a throw in will be one of the deciding factors in selecting Meekings over Piermayr! But I do agree with you as I think Meekings is a better fit for the RB slot. He supports the right midfielder better and is generally more reliable defensively. Piermayr has a habit, I feel, of diving in to quickly and conceding cheap free kicks when by simply staying on his feet he would probably defend better.
