Slightly OT and maybe worth a new thread but I would like to know why fans were sitting in uncovered areas of the Main Stand on Saturday? SPL rules state that you must have 6,000 covered seats, tickets for these areas must all be sold before people can be sold seats in the uncovered areas of the stadium. Can anyone explain why ICT were flouting these rules and why the stewards and police did nothing about it? Given that the attendance was well below the 6,000 mark no one should have been given tickets for the end wings of the Main Stand and no one should have been sitting there either.

INdeed. he hosed on both Cowie and Tokely big style last week. Thankfully the mad Lithuanian decided to take him off thus paving the way for our crushing victory! :003:

Blackie and his new attitude
The very first post leans towards the "He isn't good enough anyway" opinion :015: Interestingly though, while that was the thread I thought it was, I seem to have it bookmarked with a different name... *edit* I was thinking of another thread! EWS - maybe it was that he stopped continually dying his hair? :004:

Don Cowie
*just in case I upset anyone by saying this I will point out that the following is tongue in cheek* I think he should be tested for drugs. I have never seen a player with as much energy as he has got after 90 minutes of, well, running all over the place. I couldn't believe he was still getting forward as much as he was by the end. Let us not forget he played a huge role in the winner last week as well by belting up the right after Wyness had held the ball up. Terrific stuff!

Perhaps one of, if not the best signing by ICT of recent seasons. I have been hugely impressed with him. His skill, pace, creativity, stamina...he has been an excellent buy for us. I have never seen anyone run so much for so long in an ICT shirt. I've not seen as many games as usual this season but he has impressed in everyone I have seen him play.

Russeldinho
He had a brilliant run past 2 or 3 Falkirk players after his goal in the 1st half which was reminiscent of Pirlo. A masterful performance.

Dennis Wyness
Another excellent performance. His touch, control and creativity were superb today and he also tracked back and won the ball on occasions too. It could have been him or Duncan for MotM for me.

WE'RE NOT BOTTOM ANYMORE
We won't be bottom again. Gretna will never move off the bottom again for the rest of the season.

ICT : The Brewster years....
I still don't like the late subs and I hope we don't rely on long ball. But, what has impressed me is that the players no longer seem to get down when something goes against them. I think back to the United game and after the first goal went in it seemed game over from the players. Not so now. It's pick it up and get right back at them. Also, today we played some excellent stuff and it was great to watch. Best performance in ages! Well done!

Interesting. I doubt the blatant advertising of where all this was going to take place (RE: the singing section in section G) helped matters in that, as has been said, the stewards were then "ordered" to concentrate their "random" search on one area. Also, I don't know how drunk he was but I fear for one particular ICT fan I go to games with if they are actually seriously going to do anything about this in the future :004:

Blackie and his new attitude
Indeed. I am trying to find the Ian Black thread post Falkirk where he was sent off and when most said to sell him as he wasn't that good anyway. Much like myself with Rankin he has forced people to eat their words and good on him.

RIP - DAN MACLEOD
Sad news indeed - RIP Dan. Will there be a minutes silence/applause before the game perhaps?

CIS Cup
Liquid is a bit of a dive but I have NEVER had a bad night there. It's always a rare laugh with some of my best nights in Aberdeen happening in there. Absolute carnage!

MINIBUS - RANGERS
I wouldn't leave any later than half 3 to be honest. 4 at an absolute push.

Good stuff. I'm sure we can meet up for a few cheeky beverages. I'm delighted as well. I hope we beat them. I've got Aberdeen fans in the office. Maybe one day I can shut them up.

Why do we....
Mind one game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie, it was over the festive period, and there was a capacity 22,000 crowd - fantastic sight to see Pittodrie that full.

CIS Cup
To postulate over the advantages of a 4-4-2 formation against a 4-5-1. Really? Hard lines!

CIS Cup
If the game was to KO at 19:45 and not go to ET (if they do) there is a train back at 21:55 through the week that you could get to. So long as you are out the ground quick and into a taxi.

CIS Cup
If it does get playe don the Wednesday we should all go to Liquid afterwards.

Excellent Atmosphere Tonight
There was nowhere near 1,000 Hearts fans standing on Saturday.

Excellent Atmosphere Tonight
Well I can see where the stewards will be most heavily deployed on Saturday now :015:
