Fabulous winger. Would have learned a lot from Brian Clough and Martin O'Neill too Only heard he had had a heart attack recently when O'Neill was up for the Ireland job. Great player indeed - Cloughie got inside his head and the defenders he would face. The other one wasn't a bad player either.

Would have said yes to Burley a few years ago - seems a decent bloke and was a good manager until the Hearts affair seemed to derail him. Having said that this may just be the type of opportunity he needs to get back on track. Would keep the Ipswich connection going if nothing else ;-)

For a few it may be a change in performance with a new manager coming in or we will be replenishing stocks with some new faces to replace them and keep the squad number up.

Isn't that old bloke who used to be at ManUre not available - I believe he enjoys red wine ;-)

If Levein wants the job and is willing to accept the money on offer then he will most probably be our next manager. If, if, if....

To be or not hibee

So what does one get in terms of compensation these days for a pair such as zig and zag? The hibee bretheren seem to think they have had to splash some serious cash. Got to also admire the incredible level of optimism of the majority on their site - bless them - but I suppose things couldn't get any worse for them as Hibs have consistently been one of the worst sides we have played over the last couple of seasons.

Sad end - in my opinion a missed opportunity to put some real silverware on their managerial CV as job not yet done and to second guess what is coming 'they had not taken the club as far as it can go'. But hey ho onwards and upwards with the new team who have a couple of weeks to get settled in and continue the good work done already this season.
