  3. Why does my urine smell funny after consuming asparagus? Most authorities feel that the compound that causes the odor in urine after consumption of asparagus is methylmercaptan, which is a sulfur-containing derivative of the amino acid, methionine. This is disputed by a few individuals who claim that the odiferous compound is asparagine-amino-succinic-acid monoamide, which is derived from the amino acid, asparagine. In either case, the product is formed as a derivative during the digestion and subsequent breakdown of beneficial amino acids that occur naturally in asparagus. 9. There is a photo currently being auctioned on e-bay of Telford Street Park taken at a friendly against Hibs in the summer of 1981 - I am fairly sure I was there - looks like it might have been a warm day - even CB would only have been a young teacher then :003: You don't see many kids sitting behind the goals these days
  10. surely those candidates are already well supported :023:
  11. Is that the IHE family on voting day? and before you say it "FECK AUF JAGGIE" :015:

  18. Is this possibly what was meant - seems there are more coups than you know what to do with :001: A coup d'état (pronounced /ku de'ta/), or simply coup, is the sudden overthrow of a government through unconstitutional means by a part of the state establishment — mostly replacing just the high-level figures. It is also an example of political engineering. It may or may not be violent in nature. It is different from a revolution, which is staged by a larger group and radically changes the political system through unconstitutional means. The term is French for "a (sudden) blow (or strike) to a state" (literally, coup, hit, and État, state, always written with a capital É in this meaning). The term coup can also be used in a casual sense to mean a gain in advantage of one nation or entity over another; e.g. an intelligence coup. By analogy, the term is also applied to corporations, etc; e.g. a boardroom coup. :024:
  19. At the moment we are sitting 9th in the Scottish League system with 33 teams below us all in a worse position (some more than others - naming no names :023: ) and wishing they were where we are now. Quite looking forward to stuffing Gretna next season actually (in the SPL) :025:
  20. I think the title of this thread was not finished properly - it should have read.... CC to go..... on holiday ....in the summer :001:
  21. As long as you're not playing up the slope :023:
