The lad has ability of that there is no doubt but how much confidence in it does he have? Too many decent players have left their clubs too early to head to seemingly greener pastures and become bit players and end back where they started or lower. If he is actually confident in his own ability then he will stay and play his part in a decent season for ICT and move on to a bigger club at the end of the season when there will be some real interest from the type of club that he deserves to take the next step up to. If he does go now or signs a pre then I wouldn't hold anything against him but he will always look back at it as a what might have been that's for sure. I know what I would do but we all have different drivers in our own professions and footballers are no different.

Quite simply not the answer. Will this be the most convoluted league structure in Europe?

DD - agree with you - as you say ol' Dougal's posts often offer an alternative view but at other times they just light the blue touch paper (or should that be green touch paper) and he can stand well back and watch the entertainment unfold Dougal - just keep taking the medication for the blood pressure and keep the posts coming

Mike Noble? Captain of D3 winning ICT side in 1997. I think he was still at Thistle when they won the Highland League in 87 and the Q Cup in 88 and he had definitely gone to Caley by the time they won their very last trophies such as the 1994 North Cup. PMF said CC which i agree with but I have in my head also that Mikey Noble did the same but could be wrong....probably am.... :-)

With the way results went today we are still 2nd going into the break. At this stage - top scorers in the league (44) and the least defeats (only 3). We have drawn a lot of games and if we had managed to hold out in a few of those games our points total would be even healthier. Having said that I am extremely happy with where we are. Hopefully the break will allow the team some well deserved rest and we will repeat the performances when it all commences again. And on a final note ICT are getting a lot more exposure overseas due to our current league position and hopefully we can still be there at the end of the season even if it is only by goal difference ;-)
