Currently I believe the 2nd ranked Scotsman in the world rankings after Gallacher. A big ask for this Ryder Cup but certainly in with a shout for future events if he can keep his current form going.

Home to Aberdeen in the festive break and then away to County for the new year derby. Last two games before the split Aberdeen (Away) and Celtic (Home) - hopefully it is all wrapped up by then though....

A very good crowd of 8,288 at Dunfermline's play-off game yesterday - Cowdenbeath though stay in the Championship.

We've just released 60% of our players from the Republic of Ireland - Joe Gorman, Adam Evans and Conor Pepper, leaving Richie Foran and Aaron Doran. With the 8 new boys joining the squad (initially in the under 20's) all being Scottish, we've no longer got the most Irishmen in our squad. To be sure dair is anooder wun on de way....

As I got France and Cameroon in the work sweepstake it will have to be them then....not holding my breath though.... No European team has ever won the World Cup in South America so will be interesting to see if any of the European teams can prevent that from continuing - Spain may be the best bet but we shall see....

As they say 'you reap what you sow'.... The Championship with a number of the scottish league's big names in it would increase the interest in more than just the Premiership within and outside of Scottish Football. It would also be a good thing for several other clubs in terms of gate receipts and the like with two home games assured against Hibs, Hearts and Rangers. Just like a Premiership 2 even....and that reminds me of another....'all things come to he who waits'....
