Robbo Returns
You mentioned Pavel Mihajuks earlier - you have probably seen him a few times now. I agree that he has already shown to be an excellent asset and could go onto become another ICT defensive great. From what you have seen of him what parts of his game do you reckon he needs to work on and how do you reckon he compares against some of the big centre-halfs we have had at the club in the past - Mann, Dods etc? PS - I was also sorry to see you not get the job but as they say c'est la vie - anyway good luck with finding a new position that's right for you....

Robbo Returns
Afternoon - do you think Don Cowie can be a success in England with Watford and what advice would you give to him based on your experiences when you went south to Newcastle?

Free Agents
With the current transfer window set-up the free agent had become more popular with players leaving clubs by mutual consent etc with the hope of being picked up by clubs in need of replacements or looking to strengthen weakened squads. Last week''s Ian Harte will he won't he with St.Mirren was one example and then he was replaced by the same club with another free agent in Camara. We have already picked up Kerr as a free agent. There are many players out there without contracts at present. Along with Ian Harte I see that Keith Gillespie has also decided to go down the free agent route to get a new club. Has anybody seen any other decent free agents out there that might help us strengthen our squad for the run-in and cup game(s) to come?

Niculae
No - but close enuff :015: And the ulcer is now a plastic tube Freddy - I am immortal. But you have got me thinking ? IHE - process of elimination :018: Maybe if I start revealing some stories from the past it will refresh those old brain cells ;) or shall I leave them stories locked away? :thumb04: Cryptic clues - cells and locked away - were you both sectioned at the same time....?

When Will We Get Our Own Identity?
To the tune of "Seasons in the sun" by Terry Jacks....(probably more hip when Nirvana sang it - but then who hasn't sung it....) Seasons in the Sun We have joy, we have fun, we have seasons in the sun But the leagues we have climbed Were seasons out of time We are RED, we are BLUE, the CALEY THISTLE crew But the leagues we have climbed Were seasons out of time We have joy, we have fun, we have seasons in the sun We are RED, we are BLUE, the CALEY THISTLE crew etc etc

The Stripes
Totally agree about the stripes and the club's response to the question about stripes and club identity in Boardroom Banter Issue 2 was: Club Response: We have one more year to run on our current Errea deal and are currently satisfied with both our level of service and product from Errea. Various parties have input to our designs and strip colours ranging from the Board, Management teams, Players, commercial Department and kit man. Traditionally we have changed our strips to coincide with design changes, trends etc but do agree that the Red and Blue stripes were one of our most popular designs and will give this consideration in the future. On the subject of strips we are currently looking at changing our current away strip for next season and would be delighted to receive constructive input from the fan base on their thoughts. Perhaps this can be done through the web site. Hopefully we will be seeing a return of the blue and red stripes in one form or another with our next home strip....
