  1. Has potential though and under the right manager....who knows what he can achieve....
  2. In the words of the Proclaimers.... Bathgate no more Linwood no more Methil no more Irvine no more Third Lanark no more Airdrieonians no more Gretna no more ????? no more who's next....?
  3. sorry - I have rightly red-carded myself
  4. yeh I agree also - from watching the highlights it does look a little tame - we will never know what he did or didn't say but does look like a poor decision especially when you compare it to what Shrek gets away with week in week out at the home of the Dark Lord....
  5. Looks like the squirrel has been sucked in as well....journalism at its best.... Sunday Mail
  6. Yeh he can't see straight....
  7. Unfortunately Inverness is seen as a back water by many (and as CB stated it has been like that for centuries) and they think the house offered by Tulloch's that comes with the job looks like this...
  8. Both 2nd and 3rd goals conceded with runs down the right channel where we look exposed after the sending off - the third was pretty soft as no pressure on two hearts players at any time at all....will have to work on that or that level of defending (mid and defence) will cost us even more points....game looked excellent though and some good opportunities....as they say on another day we might have had a different result....
  9. Just watched highlights on BBC now....
  10. Didn't realise that ICAT had been transferred to Killie in the January transfer window....
  11. Interview with Esson after yesterday's game where he gives his view on the penalty and sending off... Caley keeper gutted by defeat Esson said: "I don't want to get into blaming the referee, but when some calls are given and others similar aren't, you have to question consistency. On another week, the penalty would have been a free kick the other way." He has definitely been a decent acquisition for the team....not many times in the recent years that we have penalties saved by an ICT keeper....
  12. Seems Robbie Keane might be available after today.... And there was a setback of a different kind for Liverpool's ?20m striker Robbie Keane, who did not even make the substitutes' bench. He seems to be suffering in a similar way to Rooney.... :thumb04:
  13. Possibility of points to be won for all 3 home teams but I would say ours is the hardest challenge - new manager in place or not....
  14. Frank's passed away but it might have been Pat....now that would be a scary and out of the box appointment....
  15. International footballer does not like to travel 2 and a half hours by car shock - by the way is the world still flat....
  16. Just read that. Don't know what we're supposed to believe. Blackieforce mentions earier in this thread that Robbo claimed in commentary that he hadn't been asked for an interview. And yet: "Robertson was interviewed by his friend, club chief executive Graeme Bennett, and chairman George Fraser at an Inverness hotel on Friday. Terms were discussed which would see Robertson take over until the end of the season, with the option of a longer contract depending on whether Caley Thistle were still in the SPL or relegated to the First Division." So is Robbo just being coy? Or is the Sunday Herald writing p!sh? mmm someone somewhere is lying, robbo saaid yesterday during ict commentary no-one from club had contacted him,and if he ddint hear today he thought he would be out the running Maybe it is another journalistic error and it should have been Saturday evening in an Edinburgh hotel.... Dalglish's name was just fer a laff but how anybody can consider the guy did not have a great managerial career especially if you can rememebr what the Blackburn team was like when he first took over.... (also only the 3rd manager to win english championships with two different clubs - the others Clough and Chapman - good company I would say). Also a true legend as a player.... Ardiles or Dalglish - no contest - unfortunately he has retired and will not be coming.... :thumb04:
  17. Kenny Dalglish?
  18. Seriously though - who is our preferred candidate at present - still Robertson?
  19. said in todays paper he was on a short list of 3 for the faores job There was never any chance of Calderwood coming here . so faroes job is a bigger job than ict? certainly more hassle getting there than inverness He must have been the best candidate out of the 3 of them then :thumb04: Never heard of the other two.... :018: Calderwood is, though, the popular choice. A poll run by Faroese newspaper Sosialurin saw Calderwood pick up 62 per cent of the votes. His challengers for the post trailed behind, with the Dane Flemming Serritslew and Serbian coach Luka Kostic gaining only 21 and 17 per cent of the votes respectively.
  20. Interestingly he was the fan's choice getting 62% of the votes on the fan's pole as to who should be the next Faroes manager - remind me where and who is leading our poll.....
  21. At least he was prepared to relocate to the north.....
  22. So would I - at Hamilton or Falkirk....
  23. Don't we already have a contact at Villa Park to alert us of any potential loan signings - strikers or otherwise....
  24. Unless Robbo is down at the club this afternoon for an interview then it is not to be for him.... The club statement yesterday already seems to infer that all the four candidates are new men to the north as they will have to relocate....
