media coverage on Tuesday
There is no point complaining. the BBC (radio at least) do NOT possess the media rights to broadcast SFL games live, only the SPL and Scottish Cup. The best they can do to 'workaround' the issue is to host a program like open all mics when there are enough games on.

Quick "catering" note from Kenny Cameron at the stadium: Unfortunately, due to high winds at the stadium, the safety officer has had to make the decision not to let the burger van operate. Seemingly it has sides to it that are not safe in high winds as they may blow off/around and hit someone.

Songs for Tomorrow Night
Hate to be a party pooper but can I just point out that despite the banter that has existed between County and ICT fans for 16+ years now, we have previously been told through official channels that "gypsy" references in songs which are directed at County or their fans may be construed as offensive and be put into the same bracket as sectarian songs. This information was in the days of Mike Smith, but he was only the messenger in that case ... the actual clarification came from the Police so if you want to go there with these words in the songs, just be aware there could be consequences if the police and/or stewards want to be overly officious about this matter.

Barrowman - shut yer pus !
Dont think I have ever said that ?
-
Barrowman - shut yer pus !
A good player - one with natural ability and a decent work ethic - would ADAPT his game not expect the team to adapt theirs ! All through my working life things have changed constantly .... technology, rules, methods, the way a manager or director wants things done etc .... and each and every time I have to try and adapt my methods to make sure I can be as good as I can be rather than expect others to change theirs. Because I have what seems to be a natural ability for most things technical, I can actually do that in most areas, and in those areas where I struggle, I will work hard to train myself or force myself to learn so I can stay at the top of my game ..... Barrowman was an expensive luxury if all we were supposed to do was work the ball hard then give it to his feet/head in the box so he could attempt to score. Where is the teamwork, where is the effort, where is the hunger, where is the work ethic ... the lazy little to$$er had none of that so failed abysmally. Dont forget, he has now failed twice in the SPL, once with ICT, once with Kilmarnock ... doing it once might give some theories credence, doing it twice is a pattern with only one common denominator !

Barrowman - shut yer pus !
Rossco's gonna get ya ..... Rossco's gonna get ya ...... Barrowman is more "McAllister" than "Richie" ........ Barrowman - 41 appearances (24 starts) - 3 goals: 7% return rate, 12.5 if you want to be generous and just do starts. Ritchie - 132 appearances (106 starts) - 63 goals: 47% return (or 59% - starts only) McAllister - 62 appearances (15 starts) - 5 goals: 8% return (or 33.33% - starts only) [and now 20+ goals in D2/Cup]

Barrowman - shut yer pus !
nahh, he didnt catch a big one, he doesnt know how to use a net, be it fishing or football !!! However it does annoy me that he personally does not take any responsibility for his failure at Caley Thistle. If he was as good as he thought he was with his 29 goals the season before (a total that Rory McAllister is on target to smash btw) he might consider being a bit more humble about his epic failure in the higher leagues, especially when he was getting paid far more than he has ever deserved.

Barrowman - shut yer pus !
Think the topic title says it all ..... http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/fu..._Barrowman.html "FORMER Caley Thistle striker Andrew Barrowman insists he has nothing to prove to Inverness manager Terry Butcher and insists the boo-boys will not affect him tonight when he plays at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium for the first time since returning to rivals Ross County. The 25-year-old, who moved back across the Kessock Bridge two months ago after failing to establish himself with Butcher's first team squad, has got used to the jeers which he feels were unfairly directed towards him when he signed for the Highland Capital club in summer 2008. "They used to boo me when I played there for Inverness, so it won't make a difference to me whatsoever and I couldn't care less," said Barrowman, following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dundee." Newsflash barrow-boy .... we know you couldnt care less, it showed every time you took to the park in that epic failure that was your Caley Thistle career ... look up "under achieving tw** who was only there for the money" in the dictionary and your picture is on the page !

Songs for Tomorrow Night
like that one :) OK, just the starting bits of the song and a couple of verses rather than the full thing .... a full version would be way too long (nice effort Renegade but too long for the average football crowd who wont sing anything at all !!!) ..... to the tune of P!nk's "So What" Na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na I guess dun-dee are n-o-t top We dont know where they went So we're gonna enjoy the party Now that their challenge is spent We got a brand new attitude And we're gonna wear it tonight Ross County will be in trouble Cos we all know they're s**** Na, na, na, na, na, na, na We all know they're s**** Na, na, na, na, na, na, na We all know they're s**** So, so what, we're still a good team We got a run going, and we don't n-ee---d you And guess what, we're having more fun And now that we're one, we're gonna show you tonight .... more? or should I get me coat

Attendance on Tuesday?
Had a quick reply from Kenny Cameron: "I was at the Stadium for most of the day and the shop was open all day so not sure how some people could not get through. The game is definitely not a sell out and walk ups will be available at all normal cash turnstiles including away end. Original tickets are still valid. It's all go for tomorrow, still tickets left."
-
Attendance on Tuesday?
have emailed the club for clarification and will post any response here. Personally I would imagine ticket confusion will reign supreme tomorrow (and that is not a dig at the club) ! The original fixture was approaching a sell-out and if those tickets are valid (which I believe they are) then the game would technically have been (virtually) sold out since January. The only tickets the club would have had available would be any that were left for the original game plus any that people sent back or returned in person asking for a refund. I would guess there will be plenty of people who did not return their original tickets but are unable to go so the tickets may well have sold out but there will be plenty of empty seats. Not sure what, if anything the club can do about selling those to "walk-up" fans.

The Sun today
You could be right Charles but its not my particular cup of tea ... If I want the sensationalised version of any story, or to see which "celebrity" [real or false] is being built up or torn down on any given day I may have a glance at their online version but for the most part I tend to stick to the BBC, Reuters, or AP. However, I do stand by my assertion that Bill Leckie is one of the best football journalists around even if he is a St Mirren supporter !!! I remember his piece after the "Livi 4-3 ICT" game a few years ago and it just oozed enjoyment of the actual game of football from a neutral's point of view (although I do believe he may have a soft spot for us from the way he writes). Not for him the prawn sandwiches or hob nobbing with the suits, I always get the feeling from articles or indeed from his book that he far prefers to be on the terracing with the rest of us plebs or reporting from some small intimate ground that is all about grass roots football. Some of the other "top" reporters from newspapers or indeed from Radio Scotland could do with this kind of education from time to time IMHO. Messrs Young and Traynor for example would go into cardiac arrest if you took them away from Ibrox or Parkhead and the same would be true of a few others as well. I know its only banter but when Robbo winds up chick on OAM most weekends about coming north you can literally feel his face getting flushed with worry that he might have to leave his comfort zone .... even the promise of a couple of Jessie's cakes/scones wont tempt him up the A9.

Players that would leave the team relegated
Darren Barr has signed a pre-contract with Hearts so is leaving anyway.

Tuesday Nights Programme
It may look "cheap and unprofessional" but it is and pretty much always has been an accepted practice by teams from the SPL downwards ..... seem to remember a 'certain' match back in 2000 had a similar dilemma Print runs are expensive, advertisers have already paid for their ads, and although you might not feel you are getting value for money with the articles being 3 months out of date it is not the club's fault that the weather killed the original fixture and the SFL waited this long to reschedule the next one. Its simple - if the programme offends so much ..... dont buy it !!! Maybe those who do will make a few extra quid on eBay because of the 'quirkyness' of the out of date content (and league tables etc).
-
The Sun today
Bill Leckie is about the only reason to read the Sun .... always has been an excellent Football journo, especially when covering smaller teams.
-
Tuesday Nights Programme
Most clubs resurrect the original programme from the postponed fixture and just slip an extra (unstapled) page or two inside. Interesting dilemma though if Imrie is on the front page :024:

Lovell to ICT?
sign Lovell now? NO. He seems to have shown more than a little integrity in negotiating his release from Partick because he knows his season is over due to injury. In the end, he only signed for them because he couldnt sign for Bournemouth and I would not be surprised if he tried again there for next season.
