  1. dont they see him every day when Derek Adams walks into the ground ?
  2. We should listen to this guy ....... As a Dundee fan he is obviously an expert in bottle crashing !!!
  3. Yup, pretty much agree with all of this. The key in all of this for me is the re-appointment of Kenny and with it a renewed desire (on both sides) to talk about things rather than be talked at. Kenny is all about listening to both sides of an argument and cutting through the bull**** to get things done. I as a fan like that approach and just as crucially, can appreciate it if someone like that says to me "dont be so stupid, thats a bad idea" if I suggest something that is unworkable .... in other words, you know where you stand, and you get answers to (most) questions when asked. From having worked with Kenny over the years on the website I can also say he is very fan focused so will go to bat for us if and when there is a real issue to be dealt with. Come on Harry. Without Don, there would still be a Board that is pretty hopeless at PR and whose only strategy for it is to say nothing. He's at least forced the issue, and if he's calculated that it was worth his announcers job, then that's his business. Good on ya Don, I hope they do get you back and retire Mr. Happy. Yup, agree with Davie too. I have been the thorn in the club's side on a few occasions but from over here my point is often blunted these days. However, Don has taken up the mantle and without his constant pushing I very much doubt we would have seen quite as much (or even any) positive change in recent weeks. Don was wrong, he freely admits that, but given the nature of the structure of the companies surrounding the stadium ownership debate, and who does and does not need to file certain paperwork, he didnt have, and couldnt get, the complete facts to join the dots. As it turns out, the club is protected and given the amount of research he did, if Don is happy to say his fears have been eased then I dont need any further convincing. However, I still stand by the assertion I made at the time which is that the club could have quoshed the whole debate by coming out with this information there and then instead of allowing it to drag on. Don didnt start any conspiracy, he asked a question, and the silence surrounding that request for an answer caused any conspiracy theory ..... I have said it for years to the club ... when asked a question, answer it if you can (subject to confidentiality stuff) even if its not a positive answer. fans will appreciate it and if the club begins to get back its reputation for honest answers it will put an end to any conspiracy theories before they can even start. Anyhoo - its a positive move from ICT. It is also positive to see club and trust working together, and I know that with Kenny involved club and CTO can and will also work together and we will see more positive news. with the lads doing it on the park, its a totally different feel to a month or two ago ...... and far more enjoyable.
  4. yup ... adjectives are definitely on the way out !!!
  5. correct, it was filmed from the main stand.
  6. Yes It was At some point

Agree with this comment. sounds like over exuberance that resulted in some potential accidental damage with one of those involved merely asking how it can be resolved. It has no bearing on any previous actions or being pulled up about anything else and it is not indicative of organised hooliganism or anything even approaching that. In fact, it is quite mature to own up and ask how the situation can be fixed. Sensible advice you would do well to follow.
  8. There are no official highlights online at this time so a dodgy clip on youtube is probably your best bet for now !

Yup, as mentioned, we have noticed but nothing we can do about it right now. We will be switching hosts during the close season so have to put up with it until then.

Yes indeed, this was a classic game despite the loss. I remember that this was the game that Bill Leckie (him again) opened his article with a line something like ..... "The cherry on top of the icing of an already scrumptious cake would have been a Caley equaliser". I think it also looked like a better game to most football fans as it was the same weekend as the OF game where Hugh Dallas got hit by a coin so there were many comparisons made about the OF and these two "young" teams serving up such enjoyable fare. these two folk didnt seem to enjoy the game though ..... (sorry, had to pull this photo out again :()

Its the Irish influence in our team ... he just wants "to be sure, to be sure, to be sure" Seriously though - looks like we are having server issues today. Possibly due to higher than normal pageviews combined with our still crappy hosts !!!!
  12. Its open season on County as far as I am concerned (within reason - rules and all that stuff you know ) ... After Adams "anti-football" comments and others, and Barrenman's ego and of course last nights results my mood is one of GIRFUY !!!!
  13. Wind him up further ....... Foran wasnt booked in this game according to BBC / SKY / SportBox etc.
  14. And that was one thing I also kept mentioning .... TB & MM the "individuals" do not seem to be as effective as TB & MM the "team" ...... I always hoped they would emulate some of the good (some might even say remarkable under the circumstances) work they did as a management team at Motherwell and kept pointing out that the other "failures" were [A] Not in Scotland where they did well together and When they were working as individuals rather than as a team. Bottom line - It is good to see some people have the balls to come out on here today and say they were wrong. Fair play to you all. But lets enjoy the ride now and get behind them ALL for the final 6 game push.

Like some, I am not going to celebrate until we have actually done it. After last season I am just waiting on the kick in the teeth that I have always feared is around the corner so for now I am going to walk around with a quiet confidence rather than be as cocksure as the Dundee fans you speak of. However, I really really really hope your optimism is far more accurate than my fears and if it does come to pass you can be assured that on both sides of the Atlantic the celebrations will be HUGE. I hear what you say about the SPL and agree to an extent ... Top 6 would be classed as a very succesful season, and avoiding relegation would be an acceptable one .... its not quite as exciting as sitting atop the table and savouring every moment. However, every team and all the players in those teams want to compete in the top league in their country so that will be my little bit of solace ....... that and the fact that for me (and other ex-pats) there are even more benefits !!! We will once again get to listen to our team online, we may be able to see highlights of some games and hell, some of them may even be carried live (or delayed) on ESPN .... The frustration that some of you feel when you cant get a game on openallmics (like last night) used to be repeated week in and week out for us poor overseas fans and that is definitely one big plus point for us.

as I said above - 6 cup finals ..... win them and we will all be smiling long and hard
  17. This looks like a comfortable bench :004: :023:
  18. I urged caution and said he should be given the full season (when i really expected him to walk away at the end of it). I also maintained that relegation was not his fault but a combination of many culprits. Not gloating though, as an ICT fan its just a happy time for us all to see us come to form when it matters.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself ...... we should fear no-one but respect everyone for the next 6 cup finals of the season.
  20. People have been looking at tables all night long .... here's another couple that make pleasant reading FORM TABLE MATHEMATICAL/STAT TABLE
  21. Tactical mistake by Adams .... If he had taken barrowboy on for the last 10 minutes he would have scored 4, served everyone in the ground a cup of bovril and a perfectly cooked pie and still had time to make sure the burger van sides wouldnt blow away in the wind ....... :drinking09:
  22. Driving home through rush hour traffic with a smile on my face (for once).
  23. table already updated before anyone asks : http://stats.caleythistleonline.com/tpl/index.php Match Stats: http://stats.caleythistleonline.com/matchdetails.php?id=374
  24. County make their 3rd sub .... smith on for Vigurs Another exclusive pic of the County bench ...... :008:
  25. Sanchez on for Odhiambo (71mins)
