  1. The decision has been made and is not up for debate on this thread. If you have an issue with this decision please use the PM system to discuss your concerns. In the interests of open-ness, I will however elaborate: This decision is based on not only this thread where the user can call TB a clown if he wishes .... but also on the tone, style and content of the previous posts of this user. I suggest you read them to get a better idea of just what (and when) this user posts. It is my opinion that the use of the word "English" as an adjective to call him a bigger clown because of his nationality, could be called racist. If the user did not have a history of coming on, slagging butcher and then clearing off and not actually taking part in any discussion we have on this site then we may have just amended the post and told the user to remove that type of adjective, but their posts are ridiculously predictable so I am not going to bother going to that effort. As stated in the Future thread, we will make an effort to make the site better for decent users, but there is certain behaviour that I will no longer tolerate and this pattern of bilious posts from a user who never takes part in actual discussions is one of them. The user can decide - he/she can take part in the community or **** off out of it. I really dont care what they choose, but those are the terms.
  2. Bridge and Castle appears right on cue and predictably posts the same thing as he/she has almost every time they have used the keyboard on this site. Given your use of the word English as a racist adjective I am banning you from this thread and will speak to the moderators about any further action. It is posters like you who i was referring to in the future thread and who I do not want on this site. Your bile will no longer be tolerated so if you want to continue on thi site you need to take part in discussions rather than just come on, post abuse towards a club official and disappear for another week.
  3. Just to re-iterate to anyone who hears 1st division team scores coming in ... PARTICK -V- ICT is the ONLY 1st division game this weekend, any other 1st division team mentioned is playing a CUP TIE.
  4. Oh I am always full of useless information Scarlet Today's ref is Dougie McDonald and any ICT fan who has followed the team knows of our love-hate relationship with him !!! He also called off another big match in ICT history and then refereed the re-arranged fixture on February 8th 2000 :021:
  5. 1 game (Livi) already abandoned with fog today and they have mentioned the fog/mist a few times today. Hope it doesnt get abandoned if the result is looking like an ICT win .... although today's ref is the same man who called off our Scottish Cup match V Kilmarnock after 28 minutes a few years ago :D
  6. DJ - pointless comment. please read or re-read the future thread. This is EXACTLY the type of undesirable post that is mentioned numerous times. If this thread is pointless in your opinion then move along and ignore it, do not bother posting a spam-like response that in itself is pointless. incidentally - getting it back on topic, once again it was Hayes who setup today's opening goal a nice cross for a Tokely header.
  7. HT Partick 0-1 ICT
  8. header i think, it happened while there was no radio coverage but I am sure they mentioned it was a header from a Hayes cross
  9. I'd take a punt that TB dropped him due to his inflated Ego, time wasting and attatude to last weeks game dude. A straight red for certain offences (violent behaviour for example) is an instant suspension for the next match (or longer) regardless of whether it is a league or cup match.
  10. open all mics now working on the links above

  17. we are in danger of going off-topic here. I note the point about spelling/grammar etc but we dont need to discuss the merits of education or dyslexia in this thread - start a new one for that if you wish. I will be posting a summary of what I feel we have gained from this thread and what I think is the way forward in the near future but as stated in the first post, we are still open to constructive suggestions. I will note however that since this thread has been posted there has been a lot less moderation required and a lot less abuse on the forums so if nothing else, it has served to get us back on track at least somewhat and for that I thank those posters who have made the effort.
  18. CaleyD - posts 4 & 12 !!! However, to answer your question. perhaps none of the mods have a strong personal opinion about this thread so none have added anything as a normal poster. There certainly hasnt been anything in it requiring their attention as moderators ..... something we would like to see in many other threads !!!
  19. can we stay on topic please and not get dragged down into a slagging match about the semantics of this thread. The original poster has clarified the topic so it is clear. anything else is off-topic if the thread continues to be dragged off-topic or hi-jacked, it will be closed.
  20. By completing courses to gain the appropriate coaching badges. according to the HN article he is doing his UEFA Pro license and as part of that he ended up doing a stint at Man Utd. He used to be a player at Aberdeen when Ferguson was boss and they supposedly kept in touch over the years. The article doesnt say it but the headline suggests that Fergie might have put in a good word for him with another former Don who was looking for someone to help with their academy youngsters trying to make it to the first team (so not quite the reserves, but still a decent gig). good luck to him.
  21. I dont think the original poster is calling for his head ... I think it is a simple question as to whether you think he will still be in charge next season. Personally, I voted no as I think he will walk at the end of his contract regardless of the outcome of the season. If we do go up, he might reconsider, but if we dont, then I would say he will be offski and it will be his choice. ICT will not (and should not) sack him. As for getting another job ... if Malky can end up working with Alex McLeish, then Butcher wont have much of a problem getting another gig if he needs it :(
  22. Interesting (and positive) to hear, but is it not the case that if/when we get back to the SPL, one of their rules states quite categorically that tickets (inc. season books) should be for "individual, numbered seats" thereby negating what could be a good idea. Not sure of the SFL rules but the numbered seat excuse was trotted out when this was raised in the past.
  23. The judge at least gave him a bit of leniency but the whole thing is ridiculous ...... 600 quid for shouting "Come on you p***** - sing!" ... I have uttered worse than that from above the tunnel with the scrambled egg on their hat brigade standing below me and I am sure most of us have ... how things change .... is it any wonder fans are scared to create an atmosphere.
  24. mentioned elsewhere - its because of the "MOVEMBER" fund raising. Half the folk in our office look the same too !
  25. From viewing this on TV, I would say that this roller-coaster of a game actually serves as a good example of ICT and our season so far. We were absolutey brilliant in the first half. The 4-2-3-1 formation was working well and we could and should have scored more. In the second half Dundee changed to 4-3-3 and we literally crumbled. Whereas it was Dundee who looked scared every time we went forward in the first half, in the second we looked bereft of ideas and a little more than jittery when Dundee were getting forward. I also question why we waited so long to make the substitutions although perhaps in Imrie's case we made his one a couple of minutes too early. Disappointing but the first half at least serves as a reminder that we can compete wih anyone in this league.
