our neds are so young that if you kick them in the chuckies their voices dont go up a few octaves !!!
  4. According to club site, they have signed until the end of season following their release from Hibs so doesnt sound like a loan
  5. I agree with Marty

If you get one TO the ground, speak to the driver on the way down and get him/her to book one for you for the way back ....... they will then wait for you outside the front entrance.
  7. But not from anyone who could claim to be associated with the Supporters Trust other than perhaps as a member. It seems to be a case of mountains and molehills. The club, or to be more specific, the directors, have made an excellent gesture designed to give us a bigger than expected support at a crucial away game. The Supporters Club have been asked to facilitate the running of the buses because that is what they do, and they do it well. The Supporters Trust has called for all supporters to get behind the team and courtesy of this gesture from the board, this is a good opportunity to do so. so rather than get all pedantic about who did what, or whether it was organised because Accies are paying their fans into Victoria Park or because they have dropped the cost of our game to a tenner, lets hope fans can applaud the board gesture, take advantage of the buses the supporters club are running, and do what the Trust have urged which is to get behind the team ....... that way everyone can be united behind the players on the park. oh - and lets hope it also encourages more people to take advantage of supporters buses in the future.
  8. Alex - I dont see anyone from the Trust claiming that this is anything to do with the Trust. In fact, it doesnt seem to be anything to do with the Supporters Club either other than the fact that they will be tasked with running the actual bus or busses. I agree with you that Kath does a great job with the busses and has done so for many years, but the cost is being borne personally by a few of the directors so it is them and only them who should be claiming any pats on the back for this initiative.
  9. there seems to be confusion in the media over whether the deals are loans or transfers ..... but if we assume they are loans then I believe Hibs could cup-tie them as part of the deal in case they were recalled and needed for future rounds ... However, that seems unlikely given that they have allowed them both to go until the end of the season which also coincides with the end of their Hibs contracts .....
  10. I havent changed my opinion about Brewster's tenure as manager .... BUT I was happy to see him at least try to get Pressley - regardless of the answer that comes back this week or next. It at least acknowledges there is a problem in that position and that an experienced player with organisational and leadership qualities is required. I have no problem with him taking as many trialists to the TCS as he wants ..... he has shown in the past that he doesnt just hand them all a contract and he may unearth a decent player or two at some point. For me, it looks like he is certainly trying to sort things out, but regardless of the money the chairman says will be ploughed into his transfer budget, we are still shopping in the pound shop rather than designer outlets when it comes to players. That part is not his fault nor is it really the fault of the board ... its just a simple fact of the economics of being a small fish in a big pond. Ultimately though, my worry is that even if he does find a gem or two, or manages to get that experienced player(s) he is looking for, will he know how to motivate and coach them?
  11. I don't see the any of the Trust board members claiming involvement in this .... only you suggesting they are doing so
  12. This is one subject where pretty much everyone will be Pro-Brewster I think. Amidst all the calls for his resignation as manager, I dont think I have seen anyone seriously call his playing abilities into question. He is quite likely still our best striker, even with his dodgy shoulder, but its the shoulder, and the damage he could do to it, and therefore his future quality of life, that makes the question immaterial. Would we like to see him pull on his boots again? Yes. Will it ever happen? No.

  16. This is yet another thread that is a 'wishlist' and not a rumour . It is therefore in the wrong place and closed. Perhaps we need a wishlist sub-forum ............ the mods will discuss EDIT: This thread will be moved to the Non-ICT thread and re-opened as will any other "wishlist" threads. They are not rumours, they are not ICT related as the players dont really have any connection with ICT (yet) so Non-ICT is the place for them.
  17. Morais certainly played in that game - and got a few mentions in our match report: http://stats.caleythistleonline.com/matchdetails.php?id=171 Did I mention diving ? sorry cant see where I have said that ?
  18. To be fair, Darren Dods was regarded as a liability when he came to us, a defender who couldn't defend and who was prone to errors and own goals ..... and look how he turned out ... probably the second best centre half and captain we have had (after Bobby). Here's hoping we might have picked up players who will do well ... and if they don't? Well, loans can be terminated
  19. Confirmed: http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1512801,00.html
  20. Good question. I suppose there's Wyness, who was on loan to us from both Aberdeen and Hearts before signing properly. I thought Darren Mackie played well on the rare occasions when he easn't injured. He actually played a key part in getting us to the SPL when he created a late winner at Raith to set us up for the Clyde showdown. Dennis did ok as a loan signing when he came back to us from Hearts (something like 34 games / 11 goals) .... but when he first came on loan he wasnt exactly prolific ... 12 games, no goals. Having said that, we all know how he did when he finally did get his shooting boots on after moving permanently from Aberdeen.
  21. think I called it !!!
  22. started at 7:30 - its now 9:30 so probably still going on or waiting for folks to get home.
  23. probably
  24. He speaks Lithuanian as well as Latvian ? (according to Wikipedia (I know ! I know !) the two languages are not "mutually intelligible" which is a phrase I must save for a better day :thumb04:
  25. The line from his current club ..... "Pavels is a strong and commanding presence and can also play football." is encouraging.
