Was this not why Crook was appointed with her background in PR? To improve the communication and image of the club. This is just another episode of poor communication I saw it several news sites before ICTFC released a statement.

I agree having had experience of the hospitality this year the standard in food has dropped. Red poppy were excellent when doing the catering. Can we get those who left and were doing good jobs back?

That was supposed to be at Hampden, though.
That's the point it was moved. There is a precedent now.

I believe she was a great advocate of social media for increased profile of the club and engagement of sponsors and fans. i shall leave you to judge whether that was effective.
There was a decrease on Twitter of information apart from match day commentary.

Hampden isn't the special stadium, atmosphere makes a game. All the club's in league 2 play there every year. A packed stadium is far more a day out than an empty stadium. How many on here continually complain about the lack of atmosphere in the championship due to small crowds.

Reported on Radio Scotland this morning that Robbo has said that a smaller venue than Hampden would be better for our semifinal as it would create a better atmosphere.
I agree as I don't see the jambos taking 25000 to Hampden for a semi final against us. Be lucky if there is 15000 including our own support inside a 50000 seater. Makes sense they need to move it. Pittodrie Maybe?

It would be even funnier if we played the semi at tannadice just to rub it Into Neilson and McMullen.

That statement a bit of a worry? If PT will they move to another venue?
We've had as have others had this argument with the SFA before and they refused to move semi finals as they are contracted to play at Hampden unless there is safety grounds from police.

We have a better success rate than the minks across the bridge and that's all that matters. Forever in our shadow.

That's just pish it doesn't matter whobwind the replay one will be either the gers or the dons guaranteed both to take large support the other is going to be half empty.

They're probably going to open a shop in the Victorian Market for the 10k+ fans that nobody ever saw again after we lifted the cup...
If it gets cash into the club then bring it on every penny helps at the moment.

Are you calling Aberdeen and Partick ugly sisters.?
Patrick would be playing us?
-
Well I'd say as we were drawn first then surely the Saturday. Then a half 12 Sunday for the ugly sisters to reduce trouble.

I can smell the final best draw possible.

So do you think that a similar idea to the aberDNA would appeal ? Im trying to find the best way to put it forward and it would be good to try and copy the best bits of other clubs initiatives to make our as good as we can get. Attractive for our fans. Agree that the funds should be ring fenced for what they are being put in for, be that the Youth system or directly to the players budget. I m sure the Players budget would be the more appealing as the results of the donations would be almost immediately evident. Hopefully !
If anyone has knowledge of other clubs foundations etc please let me know your thoughts on them. Hit or miss.
All I know is that it was advertised well by the club on busses radio newspaper social media taxis etc and as a result had an amazing response they did it in the closed season to tempt folk to sign up before season tickets were on sale to allow them that discount.
I believe if you gave folk donating via this similar or the same privileges as season ticket holders then it will allow those not able to commit to a season ticket more chance to engage with the club and feel part of the family that is ICTFC. Also having different levels of contributions with benefits to fit that level again will hopefully entice some to contribute towards it but I suppose it needs to be open and understood firstly what the money will be used for and those contributing to be asked prior where they want the funds to go.

Great to see folk so up for a trip to Hampden again (as they should be) but don't forget we've got a load of equally important games coming up in the league so let's get along to TCS or to some of the away games between now and mid April to get behind the team.
Already got my ticket for county on 15th and looking at some away days also. I did enjoy my first trip to tannadice. Think I need to make a few more stadium firsts.

Yes and just outside the turnstiles after the game i got smacked right in the face by one. Zero police between our fans and the trash coming out of the shed. Only trying to find the bus back and i get attacked. Lovely
The police were all in aberdeen as i headed home up the A90 after the game yesterday I passed st least 7 police vans and the horse police lorry all heading south.

After today's performance and semi final place I'd say the budget is being used well.

I would argue their point on what constitutes a confrontation and let them put the proof of what three team members/staff were being confrontational and not pacifiers. Both teams should get together and gowoth the same story just to make an arse of the SFA compliance officer.
