  1. Therein lies the real problem at ICT. Why don't you buy him out?
  2. You're not wrong.
  3. Are we going to win the SPL? Are we going to win the Scottish Cup? Are we going to win the League Cup? Are we going to qualify for Europe? 3 of those could happen in our ICT dreams but would require something that DS isn't prepared to give and that's more and more cash. David Sutherland is not our Cash Cow. As fans we expect the guys with the money to stump up whenever it's needed and no questions asked. Can we win the SFL division 1? Can we win the Challenge Cup? Can we dominate our local rivals? Familiar territory? Yes. David Sutherland may be regretting the day he approved the construction of the North and South stands, could he have predicted we'd still be in the top flight? I'd doubt it, but getting there (as it was for Gretna) was the "goal." What is the goal of "Team ICT Board"? They don't have one and appear to be impotent, they can't even talk to the papers FFS. Realistically we can't be expected to be an SPL team indefinitely, we have enjoyed top flight football for a few seasons and have come to expect it, nae Demand it. It appears that our benefactor is prepared to allow us to fall at the first hurdle. I don't think it's a money motivated move (stadium sale/move, etc.) but money saving move. Who can blame him?
  4. And that's a good thing is it? That's thinking outside the box and I like it a lot, but as you say the board would never go for it. Robbo for me as he's local, knows the set-up, loves the club and I reckon he would come cheaper than anyone else. be agreeable to a reasonable deal.
  5. I'm not convinced by the conspiracy theorists, I believe that as a businessman he expects to see a return from an investment before he'll put good money after bad. As things stand he is of the opinion that "I'll prove I'm right about brewster by keeping him and giving him money for players in the window". I think it'll backfire and hope he'll back down, but as he is a businessman I'm not so sure he isn't prepared to allow ICT to fall into the SFL again. A big fish in a little pond is more likely to win a cup (Challenge cup) or relive past glories (Promotion). I'm talking myself into the conspiracy camp amn't I? Feck. :thumb04: :018:
  6. Sorted. 5th stand what Invernmac fails to realise, in my opinion, although I respect his opinion, is that almost to a man (or women) we are all ICT fans and want to be on here saying how well the club is doing, this is not the case and if he cannot see that changes need to be made then he is seen a very different picture than I and the majority of fans are seeing at present. Have you been on the sherry? Suggest you reread Invermac's post.
  7. As stated by the man himself he came on here to answer questions about his tenure as Manager of ICT and others because he was being portrayed as incompetent in the area of fitness training and other inaccuracies. He answered the questions. And left. I'd love to see Stephen partner Granty in central defence, Granty could learn so much from him over the course of a couple of years. Confidence in the defence would ruboff in the midfield and striking.
  8. I'd take a home win.
  9. ICT's just a hobby of David Sutherlands, he built the new stands when he did to prove he could. The sooner he takes his childish patronising ego away from ICT the better. We may struggle for a generous benefactor but at least it'll be "our club" again and not just his plaything.
  10. Is he referring to win bonusses?
  11. There are an Ailsa Craig and Iona Ball in the area at the moment.
  12. Welcome to the board CB'sbarmyarmy we are all entitled to our own opinions but never before has anyone been so wrong.
  13. It's just struck me that Brewster may have been given an FBO.
  14. It is heartbreaking. The ones that suffer most are always the innocents.
  15. We're sh!te and we know we are
  16. If only he had referenced Israelis instead of Jews it wouldn't reinforce the Jihad of the Palestinians. Violence breeds violence. They, as we, are a' Jock Tamsons bairns.
  17. A few mines along the flanks for that bestart Ferguson.
  18. Whilst the Israelis are aggressive towards innocents purely for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is worth considering the history which has formed such a negative attitude in the Arab race. I found this article not only informative but also very interesting. Middle Eastern Times
  19. He's still learning his trade but as such should be in the lower reaches of SFL or juniors. He could have a future if he could just start learning from his mistakes but it's too late for him to turn ICT around this season and he should move aside and let a grown up do it.
  20. Is this you vacuuming?
  21. I would seriously have doubts about Park wanting to leave Hibs.
  22. That'll be what makes them "steam irons". :thumb04:
  23. Couldn't possibly be any worse.
