  1. Swearing cannot be avoided nowadays, even childrens television uses language that wouldn't have been allowed before the watershed only a few years ago. Songs on the radio have choice lyrics too. There's a lot more to do if you want to avoid it than keeping away from the games. Swearing is used nowadays as a vehicle for expressing emotions quickly. I have children and when I take them to the park or collect them from school I often hear colourful language from infants. It is a society problem that will take decades to reverse but that will never happen as the will isn't there. I don't see it as an issue because the little ones may know the words but they don't understand what they're saying and as such have not lost their innocence.

  3. Its not new, and we ARE basing our views on the entire season !!! In fact, many of us are basing it on two seasons. The FACT is that Craig Brewster has the worst EVER record of ANY manager ICT have EVER had. 6 wins in 22 games this season. 1, yes ONE home win in 10 attempts THIS SEASON. Caley Thistle were never in the Highland League but if we let that slide, then all you can say is the past is the past, we are concerned about the here and now. Partick Thistle have done brilliantly over the years, as have Raith Rovers, as have Livingston, and Gretna and a raft of other teams ...... how are they doing now !!! I am sure their fans arent saying, "oh well, we were once good" ... they all want their club to do the best they can. Bollox. The majority of fans of ICT are realistic. We know we are a small club, we know we have limited finances, we know that top six every year is a pipedream. What we are asking for is CONSISTENCY, EFFORT, and a manager who can do the ****ing job. We have none of that right now. If we lose when giving 100% effort then so be it, but when players get moved around to different positions every week, or dropped to the bench for no apparent reason, or huckled out of the club for daring to have an opinion, then it is others who are ignoring what the club are and what it could be. You still sitting on the fence Scotty? :o He's had two transfer windows already where the fans on here were saying a strong centre half was needed and he couldn't see it? Wake up and smell the coffee.

  5. Have you walked past a school at playtime recently? Some of the language I have heard collecting the kids from school is colourful to say the least.
  6. North Tonight Looked through the broadcast a couple of times before it dawned on me they dont have rights to show it online. Try YouTube.
  7. Give him til the end of season and also select potential candidates for next season without excluding him!
  8. Eh? That doesn't make sense. :thumb04: It does if you don't rate Elgin highly emough to have a manager bereft of talent.
  9. Football is a business whether we like it or not. I'd have the club in administration before you could blink.
  10. We've come a long way from the terraces. :018: :thumb04:
  11. So instead of being bottom, we'd be.....bottom?
  12. Directors are also managers. Grassa has previously taken charge "between managers"? He couldn't do any worse, could he? I'm getting desperate. Robbie Williamson is available. :thumb04:
  13. Having spoken to the police on the day and ICTFC today it seems that club officials were as surprised as the fans were by the appearance of the EGT at the game on Saturday. It was not raised at pre-match meetings. ICTFC contacted Northern Constabulary who say that Saturday was a training exercise in preparation for upcoming games, particularly the visits of Rangers and Celtic. It does seem strange but as has already been mentioned we are potentially under observation all the time at the ground from something much more clandestine than the EGT with their orange bibs. So let's give them no excuse to make a return visit to the North Stand with any sectarian singing or the like. hahaha like the northern constabulary would do anything about Rangers and Celtic fans, singing, standing or hiding Osama Bin Laden. It was ICT fans displaying an offensive banner last time against Celtic was it not? ICT are responsible for ICT fans, let Rangers and Celtic worry about theirs.
  14. Brew says you just need goals to win games.
  15. Well, that's one way of taking hope from the announcement! Giving more money to the current manager would be the last thing I would do - you might as well buy a load of ice cream and build a hot chestnut stall out of it. THe Director of Football was mentioned by name so all hope is not lost. I hope.
  16. Will the other clubs not also be investing in their squads? Meanwhile our squad gets even more demotivated by the apparent lack of direction.
  17. Partick did manage at the first time of asking, didn't they?
  18. So they kind of come together...as a pair?
  19. When Brewster left DUFC they started to climb up the league. Not proof but a precedent. Will that do?
  20. FFS I was planning a night on the shot tonight and my excuse was going to be Brewster's departure. People with stakes as high as this I would appreciate it if you could get your facts straight , you owe me an excuse for being pished tonight stevico. He could be managing Clach now :thumb04: Or have an ultamatum, beat 'well or go. Would it be prudent to sack a manager so near to the end of his contract and have to pay money for nothing? Why not have him stay for now as a fitness coach and assist Robbo, who knows they could both learn something from each other.
  21. If we don't change all we will acieve is more of the same and guarantee failure. IMO Robbo would get us out of the quagmire if appointed til the end of season and that would buy the board time to select a suitable replacement and/or assess Robbo as a replacement. If the club make an objective decision rather than an emotional one, the support will be there. We are all ICT. Believe.
  22. As captain, Grant should be considered part of the management team. He's not though.
  23. At no point did I say he was gone, just wishing him the all the best in another league. :thumb04:
  24. For all the goals you scored and the experience you shared with your players when you were still playing. I hope things work out for you and a few seasons building a team in another league will see you come back to a higher level wiser and stronger. Thanks.
