  1. They can stay where they are. Otherwise they'd have to relocate or live out of a suitcase. I know which I'd prefer, especially if the money is similar.
  2. THat's why I'm hiding CB. :016:
  3. Personally I think that's madness unless no alcohol can be taken in and the clubs are given the responsibility for all sales. I was at a baseball game last year in Houston and in addition to the food/drink outlets there were guys coming round selling chilled beer in the stands. Very civilised and no-one I saw was drinking excessively. I have my doubts about this working here though.
  4. Who? :016:
  5. Ok hun. :hiding03:
  6. I had that once, very painful. :001:
  7. Who did you vote for last time then? :cdn: :023:
  8. Lucky white heather anyone? Why would any one in a position of power with money invest it in players our club can't keep after a couple of years? What return would they get for their ''investment''? One league position? Two maybe? As opposed to monetary return they would get leaving it in the bank. The club have been a model in recent years of living within their means admittedly with limited success but cast your mind back to our first season in the SPL when we were written off by the fans of most other clubs and the media. The Management team know what they're doing. Are our fans really all turning into glory hunters? Wanting to improve each year is all very well but at what price? I am quite happy to support a mid-table SPL team in the Highlands. Let's keep our expectations realistic and have faith in our squad and management team. Edit to add:- I may be wrong but I think I recall losing Wilson, McCulloch and Xausa to Livi in one season.
  9. 30 year rule? Gad how many boilings does that make? :014: Excellent posts from both Mantis and Kingsmills. :021:
  10. I think we can all take comfort in the fact that year on year our squad changes only slightly giving us some of the best continuity teamwise in the league. CC, DP, GB et al have between them a vast experience in their industry and I have every faith in them. I don't expect them to tell me how to do my job so I won't tell them. Top 6 next season chaps. :004:
  11. I on the other hand have views of my own, I don't need to look to others for validation. I also value the fact that others have their views but for some to quote fancy figures about the political opinions of others that they have no way of backing up just, well...stinks in my opinion.
  12. FAO hislopoffsideagain. I find this far more alarming than any non-conventional drug as it is readily available
  13. Have some faith FFS. Don't Panic.
  14. :clapping03:Interesting comment, but I'm not going to take the bait. A vote for independance is not a vote against England but a vote for the Scottish people to have a Scottish Parliament addressing Scottish issues. Are you suggesting I am a racist for I can assure you I am not, I had an English grandfather. I am however Scottish and resent my country historically being governed by those who see us as second class citizens. I would love a referendum on independance to give us home rule. The first action of a truly autonomous SNP led government must be to disband the SNP and call a general election. THe SNP should never have had a manifesto, too many political views under the one roof.
  15. I think you should take some of your own medicine CB. Do you have any proof other than the drivel forced down our throats by the media?
  16. As I'm sure you know we are not allowed a standing area at the moment within the SPL. You may see something materialise on the Kessock Bridge side of the pitch before too long though. :004: Cardboardcut-outs like St Johnstone? :017:
  17. How long do our Eastern European cousins have to be here before they get a vote? I'm sure they'd be sympathetic to the cause.
  18. Hash browns? sorry
  19. I'd be careful about slinging mud, the mod's 'll get you :016: It's Alex Salmonds job now to convince the voting public that we should be completely self governing. :021: Why don't you join up and change things for the better then? :023:
  20. You guys crack me up. I for one will vote for independance. The only drawback will be a long drawn out political battle about oil revenues. :tank:
  21. PC TWIT! Cast your mind back a few decades, there were more mind altering substances on the go and those taking them weren't aware of the risks. Today we are all aware. Whatever happened to the freedom our grandparents fought for. People in the FSU states have far more freedom than we've had for decades.
  22. Bloody sacrilege, we'll have no staggies mentioned on here please.
  23. How about getting MFR down to organise some half-time entertainment? Maybe chipping the ball into a car or something? :tic01: A pie and a bovril normally does the trick for me though. :blah01:
  24. Can we not 'rent' Grant St Park
  25. quote author=Big_Vinnie The facts of the matter are drinks are not illegal. Actually you are wrong, take a walk around the residential areas of any town/city/village in this country and you will be confronted by hordes of underage drinkers. Their bodies are still developing and the drug (yes alcohol is a drug) makes them behave in a very anti-social manner.Vandalism, violence, underage sex, etc. Where do most of these violent offenders come from? Druggies looking for their next hit? Most organised crimes are drug related. Can you provide some evidence here please. My experience is that those on drugs are too spaced out to care about committing crimes. Drunks however can regularly be seen assisting their fellow humans through shop windows, etc. The thousands of people out there who have a joint or other things now & again feed these drug lords just as much as the addicts do. True, but if there was a complete de-criminalisation of drugs such as they have in Amsterdam, the police could properly 'police' the issue and they could smoke in coffee shops, D'oh :029: Should not be tolorated full stop. I'm 31 & very proud of the fact that I've never taken any illegal drugs. Can your parents say the same? The culture around your conception was very much 'hip'. Rant over, time to crack open the cap'n morgans.
