  1. What a patronising statement. Some folk have short memories.
  2. airdrie 3 - dundee 0
  3. Hi Leigh, hiya pal!
  4. 4.47 am is little over 10 hours ago Scarlet, the post times are automatically adjusted for the timezone you view in, ie. your last post shows here as posted at 3.02 pm. Gonna start a revolution from my bed?
  5. So you think County will win but not get through to the semi? I am confused. I'd be happy for them to get it up the unwashed.
  6. Good luck Nick, we're all behind you.
  7. Every game is crucial, three points, one point or nil points. They all add up. I know what you mean though and a win can actually put more pressure on the team with expectations rising as they already are. Reading these pages over the last few weeks compared to a couple of months ago shows a groundswell in confidence from fans and long may it continue.
  8. I can't work if I've got a semi. :D
  9. You should join the police with powers of deduction like that. :P The author Dundee Barry is a regular on Pie and Bovril. Chapter 6: "I've got a bad feeling about this one..." :004:
  10. Further south than what? Than being our neighbours, where is the town of Raith anyway? :021:
  11. Much reduced from previous years Charles. Because our regional parliament won't follow the national parliaments wishes.
  12. I want the best of both worlds but I'll take the three points from an ugly win anyday over an entertaining loss. In the words of the late great Mick Jagger "You can't always get what you want, you can't always get what you want, you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need!"
  13. He does it incessantly because it's in his political interest to try to spread as much discontent with Westminster as he can North of the Border. Before Holyrood came along he used to whinge away about "The English" but now it's Westminster. In this instance he quite simply tries to blame spending cuts on the "tight settlement" from Westminster. Of course it's a tight settlement from Westminster! What does he expect? There's a recession on and public finance right troughout the UK... indeed the whole world... is being similarly squeezed. It's just that Salmond can pass the buck elsewhere because he doesn't have any revenue raising powers. If he DID, then there would be no hiding place. The buck would stop with him and he wouldn't have his chance to spread discontent with the UK Government. Might I suggest you are only revealing the truths you wish to share Charles, is that also part of the "New" Labour economisation package? Yes there are cuts to be made but why are the cuts north of the border disproportionate to those south of the border? If it's all nonsense let's devolve tax raising powers to Holyrood and call his bluff then!
  14. Sorry, but I'm with the official RCFC line on this. I wouldn't want to be giving away free tickets to away fans for ICT games. There's probably a legal argument in there too about supplying tickets to the away end and the visiting team having responsibility for their fans behaviour.
  15. No brainer, I'd want the tinks to win but I'd hate their fans gloating at me. It would be worth it as there's a lot more OF fans than them.
  16. I believe the final is after our league business has closed so I could see no harm in it, but I thought Raith was further south? :tonguecheek:
  17. beef I wlii if I want.
  18. Is it ever too late? Know what I mean 'arry? Believe!
  19. well if the incoming generations are responsible for what I see as a poor drab town, perhaps PMF u should go for provost!!! Incomers have very little to do with it Latviaman, it's just us getting older and not realising we lived in a "poor drab town" in our youth. What did you do to make it better?
  20. OMG  I BELIEVE :D
  21. I trust 'Tel boy to do the biz, he's learnt from the first half of the season so knows who to play with who.
  22. I was a Hibee before the merger when I dropped my wee team to follow my big team. I still have a soft spot for them but there is no way I could want them to beat our neighbours. It's like wanting to see christians thrown to the lions. C'mon the County. And if they win their minds will be away from league business. win win
  23. Brewster last season?
