An insipid, inept performance from the entire team. It seems that when we play teams in the bottom part of the league the players think they can just turn up and the three points will automatically be handed out
  2. Game off - again! What next?
  3. A tale of two halfs once again. Should have been out of sight at the interval but the second half was a complete transformation as we struggled to create too many chances and those that we did were wasted. I suppose that we shouldn't complain as at least we did manage to collect all three points
  4. Absolutely agree with everything that has been said by other posters. Should have been out of sight by the interval but good saves from the Montrose keeper and poor finishing kept the score level. Once we got the opener instead of pushing for a second we seemed to retreat and gave Montrose the opportunity to press for the first time in the game. Fortunately we held on for the three points

Scraped through 2-1 thanks to a late, late goal from a corner
  6. How we lost that game I find unbelievable. The referee certainly didn't help but that is no excuse for our inability to find the net with almost 70% possession. Why does everyone insist on passing across the goal instead of having a shot? Despite the result I thoroughly enjoyed the game especially the first half with some really attractive football.
  7. Full time 2-0
  8. Thanks Scotty. All fixed now. How simple when you know what to do.
  9. Can you tell me why the background on my notepad is now black instead of white which makes it very difficult to negotiate. Otherwise everything seems fine

On sale from Monday at reduced prices from last year. Great start to the new season
  11. As someone living on a miserable state pension I sincerely hope the discounted season ticket price for senior citizens is maintained as every little saving ne!ps.
  12. A great result and for those on here who keep saying Billy McKay is finished what a performance from our record goalscorer this afternoon. He led the line brilliantly, scored a cracking goal and won the penalty.
  13. I can't really add to the previous comments as they have described exactly how the team performed today. No idea how to break down a packed defence or how to defend a quick counter attack
  14. Well said STFU
  15. Some great attacking football tonight culminating in superb goals. What a transformation from the last home game against Momtrose. A great evening's entertainment

First class idea and a superb read. Well done to all those involved

All the best for 2025 to every supporter, poster and the players, management and staff
  18. I agree the referee was dreadful but he was correct in not awarding a free kick for the passback as it was delivered by the defender's knee which is allowed under the rules of the game
  19. A deserved victory over a poor Annan side who didn't manage one shot on target during the 90 minutes. it wasn't the most exciting game but I'll take 1-0 wins in every every match between now and the end of the season.
  20. Same lame excuses after every game. Is he the only person in the ground that can't work out you need to move forward quickly and not backwards and sideways at a snail's pace in order to put the opposition under pressure and perhaps even score a goal of two into the bargain? I coached for many years and I always thought the idea was to beat the opposition not hand them points game after because of poor tactics.
  21. Week after week the same walking pace football with no penetration. Is this how Ferguson wants the team to play? He complains we don't score enough goals but if we play this backwards and sideways stuff what does he expect.
  22. I note that in his various pre and post match interviews Ferguson keeps going on about how young and inexperienced the team is but then plays very few of those he is talking about until the last few minutes of games. It will be interesting to see how many he actually starts against Cove.
