  1. That's life. I think that the rest of the teams in group C will fancy their chances.
  2. Should be u16s go free.
  3. I'm not too sure about Shinnie. QoS are a pretty physical side. LDZ might be a better option for tomorrow though?
  4. LDZ = bombscare.
  5. Hmmm, it appears the ?15 anywhere return in Scotland is still on and the railway station is 1.1 miles from Palmerston... Hopefully speak to the Edinburgh contingent tonight to find out who's planning going.
  6. Sorry to think this but I think a lot of teams who we have come up against have exploited RT. It was so evident in out game against Raith. In a way it takes the pressure off him and I am confident TB will find a formation which is strong without Tokely.
  7. The key difference in this league among the top 7 teams is the depth of squads. Over the course of the season, all of the clubs are going to pick up injuries and suspensions. Unfortuntately, Dundee are by far the club most suited to deal with this.
  8. Great point quite clear both munro and tokley are regretfully to say past it. We are down in the 1st division for a reason not cause of not taking chances last year cause we deserve to be. Week in week out we are pushed to limits by second rate sides like Ayr and some can say were not re-building.. Are side was changed majorly over summer with a whole new midfield. It is obvious we are not at a level where we can expect to win every week and we must get back to the old caley spirit where we weren't over confident and fought for every point unlike the team day where team spirit is somewhat questionable.. I wouldn't agree that Grant Munro is past it.
  9. *yawn* If you want some really sad information - a 13 year old asked me what a skyscraper was today. That's how bad it's getting.
  10. How would you compare the noise generated by our fans at home and away games? Do noisy fans have a positive effect on the team that you support. At away games, do you normally find that the noisy ones go and sit as high up the stand as they can, they usually start the noise, the ones below join in and the spectators sit lower down? all the people are fans and they have all decided where they want to sit? If you mixed all of the fans up and randomly placed them back in the stand, would the atmosphere be the same and would some fans be happier sitting elsewhere? Would you say that the atmosphere is good at home or could it be improved? Think of the match you enjoyed the most, was it deadly silent or was it a din and did you feel a compelling urge to make some noise too ? Getting back to the north stand its not about eviction, its about getting some of the pieces of the jigsaw in the right place. voluntarily of course. To be honest, my favourite match this season was the away victory over Ayr. I haven't picked this game out for the scoreline. The whole day was great fun, Somerset Park was a hoot - the stewards were sound too. The banter was top notch and the noise from the stand was great. And there was no negativity! I thought it was cool also that we weren't really properly segregated from the Ayr fans and I was speaking to quite a few of them in the catering queue. (No pies though)
  11. "In your own words you have effectively said". That makes no sense. I either did or didn't say something. I'm not getting in to an argument with you about what construes a real fan. I think real fans sing.
  12. True fans sing. What proof do u have to that statement? what proof do you want?
  13. Could the club not enlist a building firm to change it, even for a bit of advertising space? Let's face it - we need as many fans as we can muster. And the players appreciate a bit of signing. Or to have the singing / terracing area named after them? I reckon this would be a big pull to games. I for one went to Ayr with terracing in mind and county, although we all go to that one regardless. The club could fleabay the seats to raise the cash? You have to think longer term. Yes, you could rip out what is there and put terracing back, but what happens when we get back to the SPL? Is someone really going to want to invest in a structure which would then be sitting empty because it can't be used? Honestly, forget about any idea of converting that area back to terracing because it's not going to happen. It would be a short term solution to a long term problem, and we've had enough of those kinds of decisions crippling this club. The best that can be hoped for at some point for that area....and assuming someone can be found to foot the bill....is the addition of a roof. Supporters Trust have another meeting with Darren tomorrow and I will see if we are any further along with the proposal we put to them, or if I can get agreement to share some more of the details. Terracing, banter, pie in one hand, bovril in the other... Pissing it down with rain and Caley winning... My ideal Saturday IMHO.
  14. SatNav is the way forward. Especially on the 'shortest route'. Always leads to a scenic adventure.
  15. True fans sing.

  17. Still reckon the board should a). Sign up the management team on a 3 year deal. Or b ). Change it now. I still think we're in for a long season with plenty of twists. I was speaking to one of my friends tonight - a fanatical Dundee fan. He said although they defeated the caravan dwellers 1-0 Dundee were honking. Saying that, we couldn't defeat the our feeder club
  18. just had a look at the referee appointments http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/resources/docu..._5-6%20Dec_.pdf don't know a thing about the ref for our game. Possibilty of QoS kicking us off the park?
  19. Couldnt use it under SPL rules and apparently there was some ruckus at the Arbroath Cup game? I still reckon that should be removed and turned back in to terracing where we could get a wee singsong on the go..
  20. I hope that is deliberate  Either way you will be getting ripped at the Raith game  FORL RiG! I'm moving to section G for the Raith game ...
  21. lamo
  22. Physically the ground is very open and doesn't really lend itself to noise retention. There's not much the club can do about this except remove the North Stand? I can't be assed moving seat to be honest. I like being surrounded by negativity. Those who want to sign should come over to section E to wind up the sweetie rustlers.
  23. My cousin's boy plays (beats) the drum in the jailend. He tells me seagull bought it for them and that it's jept at viccy park. A drum, in moderation, would be ok. Please, no bagpipes.
  24. I used to love the West End Chipper. I was surprised it went as it always seemed really busy. That first pizza direct isn't too bad for a takeaway but lorimers, IMHO, isnt too great. One place I do like is Renatos in Dingwall. Went there after we were beaten by county. Sausage supper and their milkshakes are great. Never had a fish supper out of the place though. There also used to be a decent chipper in fortrose on the high street.
  25. Do county charge people to get in to strikers? ?I know it was turned over to ICT for the last game for hospitality so wasn't in. ?I was speaking to a mate last night who is a pars fan just now. ?To get in to legends bar before their games you've got to be a member. ?However membership only costs 5 quid per year! ?Seems a bit daft on the part of ICT that they're not making more of the fact they have a licensed premises?
