  1. Avicii levels is class - play it when we score. When they're trudging out beaten, a bit of sinatra's that's life would be decent. Would prefer to avoid tracks like duelling banjos, combine harvester etc.
  2. I'll be putting money on him getting a hat trick on Friday!
  3. So delighted Roberts started today. I think he's the best reader of the game since we had (the mercenary) Marius Niculae was at the club. The hospitality in the Kingsmills today was top notch - highly recommend it. It was entertaining being in the main stand today - I think I spent about 25% of the time watching Terry screaming orders at the players. We're really lucky to support such a great club. Truly the pride of the north.
  4. Who's going then? Roll on Friday. Section E, north stand. Sing!
  5. According to capital Caley on Twitter apparently he's got until Wednesday to decide if he'll accept it or it goes to a hearing.
  6. The most hilarious part of all of this is that this match isn't a big deal to us as it is to them. They've been behind us and in our shadow for so long it's unreal. Fair play to the chieftain though by cashing in on them.
  7. Interesting to see that both teams have progressed tonight in the league cup. Despite our defensive frailties, Dundee United haven't been great lately and I fancy the pride of the north to secure the three points in this one. Roberts looks (hopefully) to have done enough tonight to have secured a place in the starting XI. It would be good to see him on from the start. I'd line up with: ------------------------------------Esson--------------------------------------- ------Raven---------Meekings----------Warren--------ShinnieG------ -----Pepper---------Morrison-----------ShinnieA-----------Doran----- -------------------------------------Foran-------------------------------------- ------------------------------------Roberts------------------------------------ We're due a win in the league and Saturday provides an excellent opportunity to see us start to climb the table. Score prediction: 4-2 to ICTFC
  8. The horrific conditions prevented us from playing like the SPL team we are. Enjoyable night though. Great hospitality from Stenhousemuir FC. That's football as it should be.
  9. Waterproofs at the ready... http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2644867
  10. The whole thing is thought-provoking. I took a Canadian pal to an ICT v St Johnstone match in Perth and he was pretty shocked at the whole experience and the lack of value for the fare on offer. We discussed Scottish football at length after the match and it was interesting to hear his views, coming from a North American perspective. His thoughts included clubs from across Scotland merging - not just ICT and Ross County. He also suggested if we could get to a situation with 16 'big' clubs and a top tier - with no relegation - the standard of the 'product' would improve. The smaller clubs would be feeder clubs for the clubs in the top tier - much like the set up in the NHL and other American sports. He also suggested it would be good to have some clubs included from the north east and north west of England too. This isn't going to happen in the near future, but I think some aspects of this will happen at some point. As we all know, football is ruled my money, unfortunately. A new club called "The Highlanders"? Football's a funny old game, isn't it.
  11. I'd like to see Roberts start, but I think McKay will get the nod. Stenny won't be easy - especially as they'll be well acclimatised to the artificial pitch. Going with a full-strength side is the only option. Our chances of finishing in the top six are all but gone and a cup run would be a massive boost for the players and fans.
  12. Both clubs were formed after mergers of local teams last century. Doubt there would be an issue with any further mergers in this century.
  13. ------------------------------------Esson-------------------------------------- ------Raven---------Meekings----------Warren-------ShinnieG------ -----Pepper---------Morrison-----------ShinnieA----------Doran----- -------------------------------------Foran------------------------------------- ------------------------------------Roberts------------------------------------ I'd be very surprised if Pepper doesn't start. I'd like to see Foran playing in the hole. It would be interesting to see Roberts play from the start though I think Butcher will go with McKay. Any word on Blackman? I'm assuming he'll be ruled out for Tuesday after coming off injured yesterday.
  14. Might even get a top six finish!
  15. Pepper is a gem of a find. Well done to whoever identified him as a signing. Roberts looked good too. He looked a little rusty without 1st team action but I think he'll be an important player as the season progresses. I thought we could have sneaked a winner at the end. Cracking match.
  16. Planning on watching the Swansea v Everton match with ICTChris. Usually Robbies is pretty quiet up until about 2ish.
  17. I'm not going to bother with the hospitality. Will have dinner before I get the train through so it's a bit pointless.
  18. Probably Robbies then the Iona.
  19. A bit disappointed the hospitality package doesn't include half time pies. I like my pies.
  20. Should be a good one and I'm looking forward to it. 21. Sounds good.
  22. Big ask, could someone bring some down on Saturday please? I'd like to buy a copy. Happy to try sell some too.
  23. Yes - First Division. Fizzy pop hospitality.
  24. At £25 per hour!
  25. Could have been a career ender. Terrible challenge.
