  1. I'll be there. Nice short trip for me.
  2. Fixed it for you ;-)
  3. He's quite a tackler. Check out this challenge on Neil Lennon:
  4. Getting the train through from Edinburgh and looking forward to this one. I just hope Motherwell don't get hammered tonight in Europe and we have to face their wrath. I noticed a Motherwell fan posted this on P&B - it might sway a few more with kids to travel on Sunday: "Motherwell have announced a deal for Sunday where an adult ticket can be purchased for £22 and will allow you to get two kids into the game for free. Open to both home and away fans. Hopefully adds a few more on to the gate for those with kids who struggle to afford to attend games. Just over £20 for you and two kids seems like a fairly good deal and a good initiative by the club. Good to see we're trying new ideas out."
  5. I'm absolutely disgusted by this. I sincerely hope you've written to the club.
  6. From the matches I've attended so far this season - Coventry, Kilmarnock, Hearts and the Celtic match, I think we're playing some good stuff. In places it's great stuff. The Celtic match was an exception - it was clear the players were not prepared for it. I'm really hoping we're just seeing a period of transition in terms of the playing staff at the moment. I'd really like to see the likes of Whyte, Polworth and Christie more involved in the first team.
  7. ^ This. Would be great for the younger players to get a run out. Allow them a chance to fight for a place in the starting XI to face Motherwell.
  8. How about moving the technical areas and dugout across to the A9 side so the management don't get involved in slanging matches etc.
  9. Every home match, almost without fail, something like this happens. It's incredibly tiresome and unfair. At this rate there will be no fans in the north stand at home matches but on a more positive upside of this though, these jobsworth stewards won't have jobs to go to. Being serious though, until something is done and the higher echelons of the club get involved, we'll keep haemorrhaging support at an alarming rate. I'm just glad the two stewards who were the first involved in this "incident" yesteday enjoyed their wee power trip and gloat.
  10. It it makes anyone feel any better, County took 82 to Dens today. Just thought I'd add this.
  11. Any chance you could lead the singing at Fir Park on Sunday then?
  12. Are you coming up for the match IHE?
  13. Anyone who lives in Edinburgh planning this one?
  14. There's definately a 'togetherness' in the team which was lacking last year. Our players were the hungrier of the two teams. Many thanks also to the person who organised the Gorgie Lounge too.
  15. Merely an observation; Foran let the team, manager and fans down yesterday.
  16. Between the festival and tram works, the traffic in Edinburgh is horrific at the moment.
  17. Hi L_G, just to confirm - is it £25 for a ticket and £6 on top of this for the Gorgie lounge? What time does it open? Will they be showing the match at 1215?
  18. Train tickets from Edinburgh are really expensive :-(
  19. Roseburn it is.
  20. I just had a look at the CaleyJags.com photo album from Saturday's match. One thing that struck me was the folk in suits who I don't recognise or know. I wonder if it might be worth some of the folk in the higher echelons of the club doing an "Undercover Boss" type experiment and going to a few matches in the way regular paying punters do. Might help to encourage the 'togetherness' we're looking for.
  21. Anyone have an idea as to when the date of this fixture will be finalised? Would be good to be able to make arrangements regarding travel.
  22. Just checked The Dome's website - bad news I'm afraid ICTChris - they don't have a cocktail menu! How about afternoon tea and then a leisurely stroll to Gorgie? (Or we could just have a few tins at my place.)
  23. That's absolutely shocking. Unfortunately, these people are the 'face' of the club to most supporters. We sat in the north wing of the main stand yesterday and had a steward stand and stare at us for no reason whatsoever. Terry's asking for fans to get behind the team but it doesn't really fit with the attitude of the folk in the luminous vests on power trips.
  24. I'm looking forward to this one and am thinking a pub in town instead of gorgie would be the best bet.
  25. How about a Rene team tactics page?! :D
