worst league in the world
Is Calderwood even bothered?! Don't think so... I was speaking to a hibee today who in the first time in 16 years hasn't renewed his season ticket because of Calderwood. I'm going to stop posting in response to Laurence. At least big Tel is passionate about football and our club.

Celtic looking into standing area
If they do trial this I imagine the 'green brigade' chaps will sit down. Just to be different. Standing gives you a better view of the action and in the cold freezing weather it's a little easier to move about and keep warm.

Positive vibes..The Times they are a'Changin'
I have to say the ?26 ticket price was too much for me yesterday.

worst league in the world
Ferguson hit a bit of luck with the players he inherited when he took charge of Aberdeen. And as Dougal has correctly pointed out this was in a different era. Laurence, please don't slag off our manager, club, fans etc any more. It's not pleasant to read and there's enough negativity on here! Back on-topic, I watched Barca demolish Athletico 5-0 last night... As much as I like watching La Liga, it's not much of a competition really, is it? At least the limited TV money does trickle down to the smaller teams in Scotland. I personally (very much hypothetically speaking) would like to see some of the teams from the north east of England join the SPL - Newcastle and Sunderland in particular. They're never winning the EPL anytime soon and a 16 or 18 team SPL would be far more competitive and would pull bigger crowds IMHO.

Team for Celtic
I'd be inclined to go with a 3 - 5 - 2. I wouldn't play Tokely in a back 3 though. He doesn't have the pace to push up to play the offside trap.

Dundee United roll call
I'm our. Really want to see the team in action - especially after the performance last week. Just can't bear to pay their stewards wages or the scotrail fare.

ICT Fifa 12 Player Ratings
Anyone know who EA get the ratings from? Or do they just make them up? I think in the grand FIFA scale of things the ratings above are probably about right. Not buying this one though. Think I played '11 about 3 times in total. Don't like the way you've got to buy additional content.

Dundee United roll call
Cheers. I'll go back on to the website tonight to have a look.

The North Stand
Terraces ain't coming back. Unfortunately.

Ticket Info - Dundee Utd
If you were going maybe you could give them ?30 and they'd let you stay for the entire match...

Dundee United roll call
Just checked the train fare for this one - nearly ?25 for a day return! Pricey on top of paying that again for a match ticket. If anyone is planning driving up to this one from Embra (or thereabouts) could you pm me please.

Team for Dundee United
I'd go with this.

The North Stand
I've had that too from some old yin who sits on his own. Quite ironic considering there's about 300 empty seats free toward the front rows of section E.

Signings
I'm worried Tade might have 4 or 5 bad games and then one really good one. I am hoping to be proved very wrong on this though. I'm looking forward to seeing the team on Saturday. Hopefully having had the international break they'll have had time to gel and get to know each other in training.

NEW INVESTMENT IN ICTFC
I'd like to think that would happen (and was going to happen with the new road) but unfortunately can't see it coming to fruition anytime soon. It seems such a waste to have that area turned over for industrial usage. Please don't jump down my throat, but a compact stadium in the bught would be great (IMHO). Having the stadium where it is doesn't feel like you're 'in' Inverness. Or there could be investment to build a tramline from the bus / railway station to the stadium... Anyway, I'm pretty sure we've had a thread like this before, with similar comments in the past.

NEW INVESTMENT IN ICTFC
I agree with you to a fair extent. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the worst possible site but it is very exposed to the elements down there - it's a criticism I've heard a lot of opposition fans make. The congestion on the roundabout is bad and there should be a safe crossing point for fans walking to the stadium. As for the point Scotty made about buses, etc getting access to the A9 I don't really subscribe to that fully. A fair majority of away fans - from the central belt and further afield - view Inverness as being the other end of the Earth and many make a weekend of it.

Ref for Hearts
Very good point Luke. Black's 2 match suspension is spent and he could make an appearance on Saturday.

New Chairman Announced
I hope he brings a drum and loudhailer along to section E this Saturday. Just to make himself known. :-)

New Chairman Announced
Will he come and sit in the north stand and lead the singing? IHE has been terribly quiet of late.

New Chairman Announced
This is fantastic news. Congratulations to Kenny.

ICT Wills
When I saw the title of this thread I thought our future king had joined CTO. Getting back on-topic, I think CaleyD has hit the proverbial nail on the head. Personally I think leaving a legacy for the youth game in the Highlands might be the best route to go down -associated, ideally, with ICT of course.
