Hearing rumours there might be a testimonial taking place for Grant with a game between us and our feeder club over the bridge. Anyone heard anything about this? Think it would be good and fitting for one of our legends.

Couldn't agree more ICTChris. - especially since the P&J has introduced a paywall which I find bizarre. I was conversing with a Northampton fan last night via the medium of Twitter. Interesting to get their views on Billy McKay. Will definately make more use of it this season.

Fitba's a funny 'ol game, isn't it? I recall taking school teams and having some really talented youngsters available. Unfortunately, sometimes attitude and a positive approach to the game and your team are more important than your performance on the park. I'm as in the dark about this young player as the rest of us are, but I wish him well in future and I'm sure he'll have other chances. Onwards and upwards.

Where about was the Sky engineer from? Was he teuch? I watched that game in a pub in Leith and spoke to some real, actual Glasweigan Celtic fans outside. One wee wifie I spoke to said she that game was the only one they feared post-split and there was general consensus among her buds that they were going to lose. They were Celtic season ticket holders, not people from the north pretending to be Celtic fans. Maybe there's a difference?

You're correct. The ground is rubbish. The 'announcer' also thinks he's a bit of a comedian. Last time I was there he kept referring to us as 'Inverness Thistle' and kept reading out the 'Dundee allstars' score as they were losing. And he played I've got a brand new combine harvester. Total tube.

I think Rene was joking - good post actually! I'd love it to have Doran back. Reading this thread has just really made it sunk in that we won't be seeing Rooney back in an ICT strip next season. Don't ask why, it just did. Anyway, I hope Doran can come back to us on loan. I actually thought he was about to be out of contract around now. No such luck for us eh.

Regardless of the money Rene, it's good for our rep. Players will be more attracted to come to us IMHO. Wouldn't it be ironic now if we get a Euro spot next year. (And a top six finish!)
