    Richie Foran

Think he could do a job for us so long as he remains injury free. Don't know the accuracy of this article or is it just another Butcher ex-player that has been thrown in the ring.

    Brian Kerr

According to today's ever reliable Sun, Butch is interested in bringing Brian Kerr up to Inverness, he has been without a club since leaving Hibs at the start of the season but has been training with Hamilton since. He has workd under Terry before so he could be tempeted North. He's a player I would be interested in.
  3. I agree it seemed that he was willing to allow Diver to cross and backed off him which set up the 2nd goal, then for the 3rd it seemed like he decided far too late to try and close him down. It looked like Munro was put there purely because he is left footed, although I would have shoved Vigurs in at left back and gone 4-4-1
  4. Johnboy Good managers cross international boundaries all the time. You only need to look at the number of foreign managers in the UK to realise that. I don't know if they've been to Inverness or not. I know that Steve ( a Londoner) had never been to Exeter before he took the job there, but that hasn't stopped him doing an outstanding job. Implied in your questions is the suggestion that we should only look for replacements from Scotland. I find this a bit old fashioned, even naive, if I may say so, in the nicest way. I can see where your coming from but what we need is someone who already has knowledge of the Scottish game and will be able to easily identify where the squad needs improving and who deserves a place in the team.
  5. I would happily take Robbo back but I've heard a rumour (one of these sources of a source type one) that Butcher was in Inverness yesterday
  6. Agree.
  7. About time, now hopefully we can get the right man in to steer us clear of this mess
  8. I booked mine today and Kath said I'm on the third bus so I would assume about 120/130 people have booked the bus so far.
  9. Esson Tokely Duff Munro Hastings McBain Black Duncan Vigurs Morais Wood Subs: Fraser, Mihadjuks, Gathuessi, Cowie, Imrie, Rooney, Barrowman I would bring Duff back in for Mihadjuks, it's just too risky to play himin such an important game without enough playing time under his belt. I'd bring Black back in (if he's still here), with Cowie dropping out as he has been poor for the last 2 months. Continue with Morais playing just off the striker and get him running at their defence like he did on Saturday. I'd have Garry Wood up front, he is the best striker for me in 4-5-1 formation.
  10. He owes a good performance at some point, he has shown recently that he really can't be bothered playing here and is looking for bigger and better things.
  11. If only Parky was willing to take the step into management himself
  12. Butcher= good shout! Rioch? Jimmy Nicol? Billy Dodds? Ally McCoist? Robbo? Rioch - Is this the same Bruce Rioch who was one time Arsenal manager and manage a team in the Champions League about 6 weeks ago? It's never going to be him. Nicol - Could be a good shout but I think he would be happy to stay with the Dons. Dodds - No way McCoist - He's next for the Rangers job
  13. Malpas is just as bad, he proved that at Motherwell, I would quite happily take Robbo back.
  14. Esson Tokely Duff Munro McBain Z. Sutherland Black Vigurs Imrie Wood Rooney Subs: Fraser, McGuire, Cowie, Duncan, Barrowman, S. Sutherland, Wilson. Robbo & Wilson there as management team Get rid of Proctor from the team he simply isn't a footballer and certainly not a centre half. Like I said before Saturday's game Hastings is so out of form just now it's unbelievable, McBain proved he can't play as a left winger so get him in at left back. Duncan is another player who is out of form and should be dropped. Where was Vigurs on Saturday, one of our best players and he is on the bench. Get two wingers in Zander and Imrie on the pitch to run at their full backs. Two up front with Cowie dropped. If we can get money for him in January then take it, he clearly doesn't want to play for us anymore so get someone in who will fight for the cause.
  15. Esson Tokely McGuire/Duff Munro McBain Proctor Black Vigurs Imrie Rooney Wood Subs: Fraser, Duff/McGuire, Hastings, Wilson, Duncan, Sutherland, Barrowman I would play Proctor on the right side of midfield to help double up against Aluko as I thing he could potentially run Tokely ragged. Time for Hastings to be dropped so I would play McBain in at left back. Put Russell Backpass on the bench and go 4-4-2 with Rooney and Wood upfront as I believe they could be our best strikeforce.
  16. It's 4-4-2!!
  17. It wasn't the worst performance this season but it was still fairly poor. Credit to Brew for finally going 4-4-2 but the Hearts midfield bossed us as they had the extra nummbers in there, they seemed to close down a lot quicker than us and that was our downfall as we conceded by not closing down Augiar. I thought the ref was really poor today and Christian Nade spent the majority of the game barging into our centre half unpunished but was very quicky to whiste against us. Andy Barrowman was really poor today, his first touch was awful, his movement likewise and his ability to jump for a header was non-existent, we desparately need a strong, tall centre forward as this is our problem going forward.
  18. Esson Tokely Duff Munro McBain Cowie Black Vigurs Imrie Rooney Wood Subs: Fraser, Proctor, Wilson, Barrowman, Duncan, Hastings, McAllister Purely for his gash performance on Wednesday Hastings must get dropped and I certainly wouldn't have Djebi-Zadi in either, McBain seems to be the only choice or possibly Vigurs but I would keep him in the centre of midfield alongside Black as they have been our two most consistent performers this season. Proctor has been bullied by two big strikers over the last few weeks and Nade will be just as tough so I would bring Duff in as a physical presence. Rooney has to come in but not sure who should partner him, if Wilson could last 90 minutes I would have him on the left with Imrie up top to harass Berra and Zaliukas, however I think probably Wood would be the best option as he has held the ball up well in the last few games.
  19. I cannot decide who is wors ebetween the two come to think of it. We would always cheer his name if he was starting or came on as a sub. Or boo if he went off. It was as good as having an extra man on your side. Got to agree with you RiG, it would be a terrible signing, I would rather get Guy Kerr back from Elgin.
  20. First away trip for me this season and the support was excellent, I was stood behind IHE and the cops only came up to tell us not to pull at a pipe which I didn't do but didn't make a fuss of it. Some of the chants 'You're just a white Ma-Kalamby' to Andy McNeil was superb and I took great delight from 'Celtic Reject' aimed at Riordan.
  21. Can I be assistant and I would pretend to know less than you to make you look good. Sorry, no manager would do that, he would appoint someone who had a great deal of knowledge to help him, wouldn't he? For example at ICT...........................
  22. Another mistake from Fraser. Game Over!!!!!!!!!
  23. FFS!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. The board will not have the balls to sack him and unfortunately I can see him staying for a very long time. The man is dragging us down like he would have done with Dundee Utd if they hadn't acted, I don't know who can take over but at this moment I don't really care as I hope it isn't this idiot.
  25. I think today showed the tactical ability of Craig Brewster. NONE. I will give him credit for playing 4-4-2 but after the double substitution 'Well started to push us further back. What we needed to do was bring on someone who could take us up the park i.e. Wilson or Barrowman but instead he decided to go 4-5-1 and appear to hold out for 1-0. Before the sub 'Well scored what was a fantastic piece of play between two strikers who understand each others game with Porter stepping over the ball and spinning the defender (I think it was Duncan but can't be sure). So at 1-1 he stills decides to go 4-5-1 and swaps Rooney, who apart from getting in Garry Wood's road was our best payer on the pitch, with Vigurs although if Black was injured I can understand that sub. But the thing that really wound me up was when the idiot didn't know what to with Barrowman, they scored and he panicked and thought bring on a striker. Had Duncan not played two shocking passes before Andy came on I think he would have still being standing there thinking who to take of it. The man is a tactical idiot and the sooner he realises 4-5-1 at home doesn't work the better as we are losing games we shouldn't be.
