A proposed solution
I remember it really when we beat Celtic 1-0 up here in 2003 and virtually the entire main stand emptied into that tent and returned 10 minutes into the 2nd half

Daily Ranger cup final report

Expanding SPL
The Scottish leagues should be set up the way i have been saying for years. heres an example; Scottish Premiership(*20 teams, playing twice, 4 down{put your 6,000 seats + undersoil heating}) Aberdeen Celtic Cowdenbeath Dundee Dundee United Dunfermline Athletic Falkirk Hamilton Academical Heart of Midlothian Hibernian Inverness Caledonian Thistle Kilmarnock Motherwell Partick Thistle Queen of the South Raith Rovers Rangers Ross County St. Johnstone St. Mirren Scottish Division 1(20 teams, playing twice, 3 up, 1 playoff spot, 4 down{say atleast 2,500 seats}) Airdrie United Ayr United Alloa Athletic Arbroath Brechin City Clyde Dumbarton East Fife Greenock Morton Peterhead Stranraer Stirling Albion Albion Rovers Annan Athletic Berwick Rangers East Stirlingshire Queen's Park Forfar Athletic Livingston Montrose Scottish League Conference(20 teams, playing twice, 3 up, 1 playoff, regional relegation) Elgin City Stenhousemuir Brora Rangers Buckie Thistle Clachnacuddin Cove Rangers Deveronvale Formartine United Forres Mechanics Fort William Fraserburgh Huntly Inverurie Loco Works Keith Lossiemouth Nairn County Rothes Strathspey Thistle Turriff United Wick Academy Scottish Regional Conferences(north/south, depends on final positions in conference) (teams deleted as it was a bit too long) Possibly include the junior divisions down here somewhere if they want to be included aswell as amateur. Ideally the set up is that you can create a team and work your up to the top flight of scottish football wihtout any stupid vote. * - i originally wanted an 18 team premiership but i miscounted and put 20 in by accident)

last game of the season
since when has the league been wrapped up well before the last game of the season. canna remember last season but Gretna had to beat County to win theirs and we had to beat St Johnstone to win ours

A proposed solution
my personal opinion would be that if you gathered a load of signatures from fans who want to be part of a singing section, the club could as of next season(too late to do it this season) could cordon off Section's E & F(or G) for these fans(numbers permitting). That way the singers can get their seats together. The other reason for starting next season is that this gives the club time to send out letters to the season ticket holders in these sections warning them that these sections wil be allocated for noisy supporters who want to sing and shout. If they are happy to sit there then they can renew their tickets there, but they may want to move out of those sections. Atleast the clubhas warned these fans to expect singing from the people round them instead of the usual moaning and groaning. Good thread here.

Merged: Terry Butcher - TV Caption
Why is there such a big stink about this? ICT have never played in the Champions League and for the foreseeable future its likely to stay that way. It would be different had they played because atleast the viewers in other countries would atleast know who they are on about

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
But all we had to do in the 2nd half was frustrate them for 10 maybe 15 minutes before they would make the simple mistakes and surely our critical 3rd goal would have come.

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
Well our 5 year unbeaten run in this tournament had to come to an end at some point

Dundee -V- ICT : cup final thread
I sense butcher getting the chop from Scotland has done us a load of good now. Maybe just maybe we can get out of this league at the first attempt. Im not getting ahead of myself though :D

Great goal by France against Ireland
You mean FIFA as it was the FIFA World Cup Qualifying? Yep im hearing that if Mr Micheal(frances favourite son) Platini DOESNT order a replay in a neutral venue, he will be voted out at the next FIFA presidency election(or maybe before then)

ICT V DUNDEE IN THE ALBA CUP
Steady on Heilandee! You are suffering from Dens Park Delusions of Grandeur!! I had a strange uneasiness about the facility with which you claimed the Dark Blues progessed to the next round and so consulted Against All Odds which tells me the game took place in 28.9.94. and that it was 1 all and Dundee went through 4-3 on penalties! :P Yes, I was there that night though. Dalneigh Caley.. not sure whether you are doubting this or simply indulging in nostalgia but the Comet End was indeed what the "away" Distillery End at Telford Street was called after the Distillery was replaced by retail units It was at that very same end that about ten months previously the Banned Rebels parked their bus and watched an Inverness Cup semi against Clach from the top deck! (Inverness Cup?.... v Clach?.... don't suppose the forthcoming revival could create such controversy... could it? :D ) That game is actually the first Caley match i watched that i can remembe! as a fresh faced 6 year old standing in the infamous Howden End with his old man eating one of those god-awful "Dark Mars" bars that was brought out that year and havent been seen since thankfully :)

Section G attachment
Think it was used durng our last SPL match against Falkirk.
-
Section G attachment
Or how about all these sections sing in unison for a change. AND THATS ALL OF THEM!

New Away Kit
IMHO caley should stop rotating their HOME kit. Caley in many people's eyes are that they play in Blue and Red Stripes so why do they change it every 2nd season. It should be seen as the same way Celtic see the Hoops dont you think?

Where exactly are we in the pecking order ?
nae quite Alex, Airdrie were relegated on merit, but got a repreive coz of Livi's situation Pedant DSC Why does no-one seem to realise that Airdrie have been spared twice after Gretna's collapse aswell. Thye dont belong in the 1st division

merged: Burley is sacked....Official!
realistically id want McLeish back but with carson yeungs take over he'd be out of contention. Gordon strachan would be my 2nd choice but he has just taken over at boro. 3rd would be levein as he has a good record with hibs and dundee utd Whoever the next manager is should do this for his 1st game. PLAY PLAYERS WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR THE JERSEY(NOT the island but the scotland jersey)! Dont play players who see it as an inconvenience as you will never get 100% out of them. p.s why was David Marshall in goal for the Wales game and not Neil Alexander or Jamie Langfield??? Thats 14 goals in 4 games he has conceded!
