Hey i even bought a ICT flag down in Partick a few years ago for a SC game, mind you it was a old France flag with "Inverness Cally Thistle" on it and the 2nd "l" had pen marks on it to make it look like an "e". Even if someone sold Scotland flags but with the Saltire cross in red instead of white and ICT written in white over it, im sure that would be a big hit with fans no?

I dont know why there isnt a guy outside the stadium selling this sort of stuff. sure as hell every other club seems to have one?

Robbo left us to join his boyhood heroes Hearts. I doubt very much he'd do the same again as he seems to be more an ICT guy than a hearts guy unfortunately you cant sack anyone in football. you have to pay off the remainder of the contract to write it off or both parties mutually agree to terminate it I whole heartily agree that players should be paid by performance. If i had the money, id be doing the same with ICT. But you would probably only get local lads to play for that

John Robertson(or have you all forgot) has won TWO 1st division titles with TWO different clubs, That could well have been THREE had County not got ahead of themselves. Why shouldnt we take him back? He lives in Inverness, his girlfriend is from Inverness and i believe that he is more an ICT man than a Jambo(despite all that has happened in his career). Settle. We are a confident striker, solid centre half and tactically aware manager away from sorting it all out. Barrowman should have gone out on loan for a few months to either Elgin or Peterhead after he came back from injury. Jamie Duff probably would have filled that centre half role had he not got injured and when Barrowman came back after scoring 10+ goals in a few appearances in a lower league his confidence would have been through the roof. No it wasn't. I would say it was certainly the latest in a long line of blunders but the first, and biggest mistake, was losing / not replacing Rankin when he left. I thought Cowie was brought in to replace Rankin and Imrie to replace Cowie. Iain Vigurs was supposed to be the man to fill in Blacks shoes but as i have stated in a previous thread, the club dont care about its local players

The only up and coming Highlander in the squad is OUT injured for the season. My wee brother is just as good a Hayes and was on Caleys books back in 2003 but they dropped him because he wanted to play for Celtic( i dont blame him as he is a Celtic fan through and through), He can play on either wing so he would add a lot to our failing left side. Are Caley interested, probably as he plays in Amateur league. Is he? No for the way ICT treated him and his mates. Caley have let a lot of good young talent go or they let County do the donkey work and pick them up for next to nothing eg Rankin, Cowie, Barrowman. They should be scouting the schools in and around Inverness NOW. I even played for County under 17's when i was 11. I was keeper and i only stopped it after i got a two footed challenge on me while i was down stopping a 1-on-1 shot. I never regained my form or confidence back and yet had that not happened i could be ICT's keeper.

Good post - but there are quite a few other points that you can add to it - lets say Brewster, Barry wilson, Denis Wyness and Graeme Bayne fer starters. Brewster was "injured" Wilson was fast losing pace(hey, he didnt even play against us?) Wyness hasnt been the same since 2003 Bayne i agree should have stayed. Heres more Vigurs was a promising player and prved it against us Wood would have been the ideal strike partner for Foran *McAllister could have been something if he put in a decent days shift Hastings was our mainstay LB for years and was a solid performer most weeks *think he was gone before Butcher though? But the biggest mistake(from the board) was selling Niculae for pittence. we recouped nothing and i bet had he stayed we would have been top 6, not relegation fodder

Butcher had 2 opportunities before the falkirk game to keep us up against Kilmarnock & MOtherwell. He fecked both up and has been a disaster since day 1. how many more chances are you willing to give him before he fecks us up for good? HE MUST GO NOW!

Never, you dont deserve it back Limited resources when he has the enitre Highlnad League on his doorstep. Most players in the Highland League compete on a bigger level than some 2nd Division players. Plus with the SPL Reserve league now over, there was a huge amount of players up for grabs The "Caley Budget". Was the main reason in the clubs rise through the leagues, now it will be our downfall.

So you want to see the team lose 6 more points before yoou cast judgement on Butcher? Fors gods sake. im no master tactician but i can see that 4-5-1 doesnt work when you are supposed to be the most aggressive team in the division. We should be hitting these teams for 6 every week. Even if we dont win, we should be there or there abouts. So far we have been made a fool out of by mediocre 2nd tier sides when less than 12 months ago we were playing and beating top scottish opposition. The time for talk is over and action must swiftly follow. Butcher must go now or Division 2 here we come I don't want to see the team drop any more points but what if we win the next two games? Things won't look quite so bad. They may go on to drive up the league. I seriously doubt it but it's only fair to have a full round of fixtures. I never expected to win the first division this year but I expected to be thereabouts at the end of the season. Another two games will either see us higher or lower and then we can look at it. Lower he's out, higher and his coat's still on a shoogly peg unless we start to win convincingly home and away. I think it's very unfairto condemn Rooney so harshly considering the amount of time he's actually had on the pitch. Well in the time he has had on the pitch, he has not produced the goods. When he has come on, we have switched to a 4-4-2 or in one case a 4-3-3. He cant seem to shoot on target, he cant seem to create space and he cant seem to play with the team. Whats the point in having him? Same with Barrowman and Sanchez

Ill watch Inverness City if this doesnt get sorted
