  1. An Elephant Walrus ?
  2. 19/09/16 - Well if you beat a fairly buoyant St Jones Town, fashion a worthy draw at Aberdire and come from behind to grab another well deserved point against the Champions elect the remainder of September and October should hold no fears. Dundee, Sevco, Killie and the Jam Tarts at home and only two away trips to Hamilton and Muvversmell. I would take 13-14 points from that lot. Only one defeat is the main positive and that was only 1-0. 9 points is evidently welcomed. Killie ended up being a much improved team but we should be beating most teams at home. Smashing Well away was the big bonus. However the way that everybody is taking points off each other that extra 4-5 points would have taken us in to European placing. Better start a new thread
  3. It could be worse. We could be down the Wee Free praying with Uncle Roy
  4. Hopefully the last prediction will come true - I can live with 10 points - saves me renaming the thread Autumnal Exasperations
  5. And a great celebration by the two goalscorers

  7. Now this is a feckin canny quote on BBC Sport: Inverness defender Josh Meekings: "I feel like sometimes we're waiting for things to happen and then reacting to things, then we start to play our football. "Whereas, if we come out of the blocks quickly, we can put our take on to the game and put ourselves in a good place."
  8. That could mean reversing the merger
  9. Especially with a Vigurous Raven watching
  10. Remember Shaun Goater at Man City - I reckon we should adopt his chant - Feed The Walrus and he will score.
  11. CTO Armageddon awaits if we get beat FORAN OUT
  12. Fer fecks sake people - This is a feckin Fan Forum. Anybody is entitled to their opinions. I get fed up with "the players are reading this and may get upset" crap. "You are affecting the club" - "If you don't stop it I am going tell Admin and I am not going to play anymore". Some posters disapprove of the nature of some posts and then go on to have a feckin dig at the poster. If you are going to reply then give your opinion - preferably with a bit of banter but not an attempt to have a wee dig. "Not the Man of the Match" could actually be construed as a piece of classic sarcasm. The people who have bitten are laffable. Fortunately many have decided to just fire back their opinion with a rationale. Only the apparent sweetie rustlers openly voice their disapproval and actually make this thread considerably worse. It is a wonder the Young Team were not brought into it at some stage.
  13. Read your piece about the Walrus (just have to call him that from now on) and can see your point if not agree with it. My response to Draper is that the others have had far more than one bad performance this year, whereas Draper and Tremarco have probably kept us afloat in some ties. Sitting in the North Stand waiting for the Doum to score - Caley Thistle tee-shirt,goody goody Blues day - Doum, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long - I am from Sneckie, we are the Caley, He is the walrus - Goo goo g'joob
  14. From a psychological perspective it is common that, in the event of a loss or a poor performance, there is considerably more chance of impulsive, reactionary posts in the immediate aftermath (pisshed as well) and there is considerably more chance of more reflective, positive past after having a day to sleep on it. Still it would be a feckin bore if we all agreed with each other.
  15. Go on DD - Interested in your rationale for starting Doumbouya ? The opinions on him are poles apart.
  16. I would make a few changes although Foran appears to be sticking to his "choices" in the hope that they gel. FON WILLIAMS McKAY MEEKINGS WARREN TREMARCO KING POLWORTH VIGURS DORAN DRAPER FISHER
  17. According to Caley100 Walruses feed on Fish.
