  1. It really was a no brainer,
  2. Some teams park the Bus but County have to go one better !!
  3. SMILEYMOMETER: BRILL Probably ended up as my MOM becos we could have been 4 or 5 Zero at half time if it was not for him. On watching the goal again I do not think he was at fault. RAVEN Quite day at the office although did nothing wrong but nothing inspiring either. WARREN I thought that was his worst performance of the season. Why the feck was he playing so deep in the first half. MEEKINGS Absolute Shocker apart from the two long throws and nearly won it fer us late doors. SHINNIE The one defender that stood out both defensively and attacking. WATKINS Looked the part when he went more central but that is a loss on the wing where he potentially could be class. DRAPER Faded in the second half as he went in to the hole in front of the defence. TANSEY In and out of the game but showed some great CHRISTIE Change of role helped in the second half. Two potential Soccer AM showboats next week. Needs to be played in the hole as I think he is BETTER than Andy Shinnie. MCKAY Where has our Billy gone - does he need a goal or wot ? YOGI AND LATAPY - At least they showed that we have a plan B BUT what the feck happened in the first half ?
  4. Pheoaarr - nothing like coming from behind.
  5. To be fair Brown made one wonder save and two other above average saves and the Tinks were blocking shots as if they were human hay bales being shunted off a feckin Combine Harvester controlled by Farmer Jim Muckinbyre and Ghillie Dodds.
  6. Let's face it in the end a draw was the fair result. Definitely a game of two halves. But what the feck happened in the first 45 minutes. IMHO we did not do our homework on the opposition. BUT that was two points lost. BUT we did go to a Plan B and it looked more effective.
  7. Jhesus Christie goal bound shot blocked. Watkins goal bound shot blocked.
  8. Another long throw from Meekings and superb with the flat trajectory. Goes for a corner and Meekings wholly connects and hits Darren Barr on the napper when it was fizzling in to the net, 4 minutes stoppage time but have we left it too late ?
  9. We may need a penalty to beat Broon today !!
  10. Stunning play from Ryan, including a nutmeg, and another fine Broon block
  11. Long throw from Meekings and a feckin cracker at that. And Broon produces the save of the season from poor wee Billy - well I did ask for urgency and we clearly want to win this. And Broon has another fine stop from Draper. Piling on the pressure mun.
  12. They are trying to kill this so we need to press and show far more urgency than we have been doing. Basically are both teams settling for a point or the golden chance ?
  13. Now this sums up wee Billy. Great move and superb cross by Shinnie. Before this season wee Billy would have anticipated that and strode into the danger area and scored. Today he held back and to me that is worrying. And now he fires wide after a brilliant touch from Watkins. To be fair he was knocked off balance. No goals in 8 games. And Meekings concedes a needless corner and misses his marker who heads it straight at Brill.
  14. No. But he has gone to a Plan B. How is Carey still on the pitch ?
  15. Oh dear - great run by Doran and Marley should have scored. And a Doran gets hooked fer Williams. Doran has really worked this half so may have been told at half time.
  16. Watkins up front leaving Christie in the hole - Doran switching wings. Watch out for Ryan on Soccer AM "Showboating" - Tansey gives Marley a right bollicking for being feckin greedy and not lifting his had for a cutback. And Carey escapes a second yellow but Doran did go down like a sack of feckin spuds. And Hamilton go 1-0 up at Parkdread !!
  17. Great quick free kick involving Shinnie, Ryan and Doran. Should Billy have done better at the end ? County are going deeper and deeper and - wait for it - we are going long ball route.
  18. Mucho bettero. Let's just hope that we maintain this momentum. We still unfortunately look suspect at the back - well Meekings and Warren do.
  19. We got that wee bit of luck. Cross from Christie gets a wicked deflection and Watkins does well to control and shoot past Broon. Looks like Watkins is playing more in the middle supporting McKay - who did his best to get the final touch for the goal !!
  20. Yogi has sent out the team early. Warren sells himself from the kick off and Arquin thankfully blazes over the bar. Then Warren gives away a needless corner. A great breakaway by us. McKay mispasses and Tanseys effort land close to the Firth.
  21. Is he still an angry young man? Just wish that we could get him on his bike to Sneck - he could be a Rebel with a cause.
  22. Brilliant save by Brill just before half time. Have a look at replay and how Brill set the wall and how the wall disintegrated - and look at the height of the players in the wall ?!!
  23. McKay touched the ball again but gave it away - facing away from the goal.
