Tinkerville would be more interested in enticing Larry the Lamb in to the Jail End.
  9. When it comes to the planners of Scottish Football even God himself ain't got a feckin scoobies
  10. Making plans fer New Year and to grab the good prices on accommodation - I notice that both the Cellic and County games are down fer 15.00 kick offs on 29/12 and 01/01 - What are the chances that this will be changed and when ?

Did anyone ever check out Djebi Zadi's bloodline ?
  13. Have to again agree to a degree with Dougal. I would say that there are probably not many of what Dougal describes as "born and bred" as he appears to be straying from the true meaning and referring to inhabitants who have stayed in Sneck all their lives. The sad but real "tale" is that many Invernessians have left to get jobs and fend fer their families. Many start off the journey when going to University. On the other hand many people have moved to Inverness due to its city status and the lure of the beauty of the area. Many travellers have also moved in to Inverness due to lack of employment and financial stress - I know of a few. And perhaps the saddest reason of the lot is that there have always been a majority that have followed other football teams, especially the Old filth. and they tend to continue due to parental pressure and the smell of success. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder - memories make the heart at ease".
  14. As Chris Gardner once said to me - "Johndo, the world is your oyster. It's up to you to find the pearls.” and then the beautiful Louis May Alcott (or Lu as I knew her) added "Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead"
  15. That looks a lot better without yon wee boy drawling on
  16. So from a Hearts perspective it wasn't a grand decision.
  17. Perhaps we should be charging Cb for entry to the TCS in future.
  18. The Highlands our ours, the Highlands are ours, you gyps!! Bestards, the Highlands are ours.
  19. Top six has again to be the first objective and clearly achievable - second place is the ultimate and is achievable with LUCK and fortune in regard to injury and suspension - top three and a place in Europe is also achievable. Getting to a Cup Final is the potentially most pleasing from a fan perspective.
  20. Perhaps you are forgetting that common sense, fair play and sensible ruling and decision making are not in abundance in the upper echelons of Scottish Football.
  21. Perhaps the Merger has had a lasting effect.
  22. I play pool with a bloke who watches Oldham regularly. Most impressed so far with Rooney but reckons that Dayton is the bees knees. I am planning to go with him to a match next month.
  23. Just as I suspected - you are feckin raven bonkers.
