The way we played yesterday it must have been at 11.30 PM when most of the Hearts players had gone to bed.
-
Unfortunately I have to concur - but how much as the hassle with Brew affceted him. Byut Denzil has never really found his feet in the SPL but I reckon he will get 20+ goals next season for someone in the SFL.
-
Where have I slated him in regard to his performance - I am talking here about "payback" to ICT - I may be wrong but I am old fashioned and I think some loyalty is a quality sadly lacking in football these days - If ya read what I have said I am wanting / asking Marius to stay and to play on the last man. He proved again yesterday how little he gives to us away. Brew should have been bawling at him - or hooking him for lack of movementn and dropping back so much. Sure he had a poor supply and sure he looks class - but he was literally strolling - and sure he had some nice touches. But a good player makes things out of nothing - Marius failed again. And he had little if any movement - He nmust be a joy to play against - no breaking sweat and keep him away from goals facing the wrong way and let him do all his nice touches. He should be blasted fer that but I still want him to stay.

Have to go a bit more in depth now - Clacher - comfortable at the back - Hearts missed three clear cut chances in both the first and last ten minutes - If it wasnt fer soem woeful finishing and Mike Fraser we could have got absolutely leathered. Opposition teams are learning the trick of playing pace against Rosscoe - not exactly helped by having Bazza in front of him - but Rosscoe really struggled at times. I thought it was worth a go trying Hastings at centre back - and as I said he defended fairly well but distribution - dear me. Proctor lacks the physical presence and the stature to play in the centre defence - and I wonder if Brew played Roy at left back deliberately or becos he had little other option - probably the latter but I resally hope that he persists. Bazza is not a 90 minute man away from home and gawd knows what role Don Cowie was given - he should be the man busting a gut to support the front man / men but he has to play a lot deeper in a 4-4-2. Imrie is worth perserving with but he looks out of his league at times. It has been quite clear that Denzil is rock bottom in confidence and will never be motivated as long as Brew is in charge - So why play him - especially after his last two performances ?? But there again play a 4-4-2 when Tynecastle is always a stonewall 4-5-1 - was it to prove himself right to all the punters about Dennis or was it to wind up Ian Black. Niculae strolled through the game - but not in the class sense - to be fair the supply was limited but so was his movement - and why is he allowed to drop so deep ? Patti on fer Bazza and played wide right :029: Another tactical disater for Mr Brewster - third in a row away from home. :008: A

This is not a wind up and anyone with a football brain at Tynecastle could see that Marius simply did not deliver away from home AGAIN. As fer wyness is dog - read the meaning of mercenary :029: We are hyping him up to be much better than he is - Tynecastle today proved it. :018:

Fraser :015: :015: :015: :015: Looked very assured today and saved us from a much bigger defeat - Impressed - MOM Rosscoe :015: :015: Real Jekyll and Hyde performance Proctor :015: :015: Despite what the eejit Brewster may think - he proved today that he is not a central defender. Hastings :015: :015: If only Caley 100 was here - he would have been crucified - Sturdy enuff defensively but hoof hoof hoof. McBain - :015: :015: :015: Looked good in the first half but went a bit Invisible in the second - but that is Ok at left back - Worth a run here as I had strenuously advocated. Bazza - :015: :015: Struggled - why is he playing him from the start - he is a half hour man away from home :029: Cowie :015: :015: can someone tell me where he was supposed to be playing. Brewster is totally wasting him. Duncan :015: :015: :015: Excellent defensively until he is forced to pass !!! :029: Imrie :015: :015: :015: Played his heart out but still looks like an SFL player in the SPL. Wyness :015: Bye Bye Denzil - why did you last so long today - ANSWER - Brewster humiliation. :018: Niculae :015: :015: Usual totally ineffective away performance. I am NOT going to say anything about the subs :020: BREWSTER was totally INEPT tactically - we went 4-4-2 when it was crying out fer a 4-5-1. :018: :018: :018: He played Marius as the hole and Wyness and Bayne as the front men - FECKIN RIDICULOUS. :blah01: What a feckin waste - Marius playe a few good touches but did bugger all :023: :023: Brew actually appeared to be taunting Black - The game totally cried out fer his introduction Brew is an arrogant power mad ersehole. :020: :020: We are lookin bad - PLEASE PLEASE GET RID OF BREWSTER - FECKIN PRONTO.

Especially when you are heading for the scrap heap, low in confidence, carrying injuries, shunned by most clubs and leagues - It is "pay back" time and Marius has the opportunity to become a gentleman who shows appreciation to a club that has dragged him up from the edge of the football gutter and brought him back his reputation and self respect. If he leaves the ranks just as the real "battle" begins - then he is a mercenary - and may well fall back down into the gutter gain. By the way - for all you illiterate cnuts: "A mercenary is a person who takes part in an armed conflict who is not a national or a party to the conflict and "is motivated to take part in the hostilities essentially by the desire for private gain and, in fact, is promised, by or on behalf of a Party to the conflict, material compensation substantially in excess of that promised or paid to combatants of similar ranks and functions in the armed forces of that Party"

Why dont you learn and listen to what I have said - I told you all months ago that it was NEWCASTLE UNITED. -
:004: :004: Ah ha..... maybe one day we will learn the facts. :symbol_question: So if Marius was only getting 2-2.5 K a week and no sponsorship or extra deal - WHY wasnt that simply announced at the beginning of the season and used to squash all the rumours of large wage bills - or when the fans and the press started creating a fuss - and why did Sutherland use it as an opening "missile" ? :023: Why NOW when the shittt has hit the fan ?
-
My stoopid Chief Accountant mate has told me that I am too loyal and too naieve :017: :024: He states that a "clever" accountant could hypothetically balance the books of both ICT and Orion by "showing" that Marius got paid a wage of say only 2-2.5 K a week from the club, declared from the books, but Orion could have doubled this but "hidden" it in their accounts in another expenditure. Therefore both organisations would look blameless and squeaky clean !! I told him that I could not believe that ICT or Orion could ever be so deceitful and that he was talking utter garbage like Caley Berk or ymip. And then he said that if it was him - he would save the day by getting Orion and ICT to come to an agreement and peace by Orion saying that next season that they WOULD sponsor Marius Niculae - fer the sake of the club. :001: Then the "warring parties" could make a truce - and maintain their favoured employees - put the past into the memory banks - look like the prodigal saviours and nobody would be none the wiser. AS IF THAT WOULD EVER HAPPEN. :023:
-
Spare me a seat from a no mark who hardly ever watches a game but thinks that he can pass comment - I am my own voice but I have clearly been proved rite this season :023: If Marius performs tomorrow - I will be the first out of my seat applauding and singing his song - and if he scores I will go on the pitch and hug the ******* :crazy07: I just hope the feckin mercenary does perform AWAY from home - fer feckin once.
-
What utter garbage :012: Well why not just admit tht you have no sensible retort. :020:
-
A bigger club - YES - We have resurrected his career - he owes us - he can only go higher fer more money - he could get what he wants with us - if he reclaims his place in the Romanian squad - which I pray he does - if he deserts us - HE IS A MERCENARY. If he stays - He COULD become a LEGEND - Spondoolachs or Career satisfaction and/or feckin respect to a club that took him out of the feckin mire ?

Quote Alan Savage - P&J 25/04/08 ?I was supposed to be boss but I was almost a puppet. That was not for me, I don?t need it.? -
The best one of the lot is still to come: It will be revealed that Marius has been on just over 2K all season and the rumours of extra money will be denied. :029: A friend of mine wrongly and cynically suggested that it was "cooking the books" before the accounts of Orion and ICT are presented to the general public - i of course told him to watch his slanderous feckin gob.
-
Through my international connections, I was able to facilitate the signings of players and that is how we got Marius Niculae. - :023: I thought that CC recommended Marius. :018: ?I was supposed to be boss but I was almost a puppet. That was not for me, I don?t need it.? - Is that a printing error - muppet or puppet.
-
You were 50% right :004: Hagi was never involved OH YES HE WAS. :blah01:
-
I have watched him - the large majority of my comments have been about his performances and I have been totally honest in my comments - positive and negative. If he stays to fight on - I will remove the mercenary tag - If he goes to a "bigger" club - then he proves that he is a true mercenary.

Whats Marius making of all this.
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to mainstander's topic in Caley Thistle
TWO QUESTIONS: 1.. What has Inverness CT done fer Marius Niculae ? - They probably offered him an unexpected chance to resurrect his career. He has avoided injury - he has clearly got fitter - he has got himself back into the Romanian squad and has a totally unexpected chance (albeit slim) of playing at the 08 Euros. I suspect that he may well have underestimated the speed and tempo of the SPL but his undoubted class has seen him stand out - but only in recent weeks. But fair dos to the guy - I really hope that he makes the squad and I really do hope that he plays again next season - within our wage structure - and I really think that he may flounder at a higher level - Stay in Sneck or go back to Eastern Europe Marius or Scandinavia - and you may just survive. 2.. What has Marius Niculae done fer Inverness ? Inadvertently he has provided us with the most trouble torn season in our history. His signing has been the catalyst of major problems - On the field he gave ZERO in the first three months - a scoring spell in November when he played in our system - more up and down performances until Hibs Away - when coincidentally the Romanian Euro scouts arrived on the scene - He has played two "class" games at home since but his AWAY performances - in general - have been DIRE given the standard he provides at home. Forgetting the off field antics - Give me a Bingham or a Juanjo any day - or prove it AWAY from home - and next season when the motivation of the Euros has subsided Basically - STAY MARIUS BUT YOU HAVE TO FECKIN IMPROVE. -
:001:
-
Yes - Popescu and Hagi - Romaninan yoof - was I not ridiculed. :009: :029: ROUND SIX - Lets hope Sutherland and Savage knock each other spark feckin out.
-
Yes - It is a sad reflection of the times - but we idolise self fufilling mercenaries across the world of football - and one thing that really got under my skin for most of this season was that although Niculae's performances and our management tactical ineptitude were clearly major reason fer our preformances - many posters vented their wrath on players who have been very loyal servants. :024: Still perhaps Marius may surprise me again - and give me one thing that he definitely hasnt done this season - an above average performance AWAY from home - where at times he has been dire.
-
ONE QUESTION - What started all this upheaval off ? :018:
