  1. Everyone's predictions looking optmistic now :007: I doubt many of us expect anything from Saturdays game (there always hope though :016:) Hopefully the turmoil at Hearts will continue for a good while longer - I quite fancy our chances against a Hearts team mainly made up of the foreign contingent on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon. Saying that I can see us being 9th or 10th in league come the end of the month :006: The Motherwell game could be the preverbial 6-pointer
  2. You've hit the nail on the head CaleyD - McBain IS the weakest link
  3. Shame they didn't wait till before next weekends game :006:
  4. Aye well done - guess they'll have to buy a trophy cabinet now :016:
  5. Assuming Fraser plays well against Celtic might he not deserve a run in the team
  6. :007: Disappointing result but losing at Hibs is no disgrace Another yellow card for Dargo as well - 1 more and he's suspended
  7. Maybe it's time the SPL looked at the Under-21 rule. It seemed to be a good idea at the time but I wonder now if its hindering the progress of some players. Having to have 3 (?) youngsters on the bench means other squad members lose out and chances are the kids aren't given a game anyway. Loaning them out to lower divisin clubs surely would be more benefical to them and the clubs concernd rather than warming the bench The current finanical climate in Scottish football means that youth development is the best/only option for many clubs to bring in new players rather than vis the transfer market anyway.
  8. Is there anyone who can't beat Rangers? :016: Well done St. Johnstone :025:
  9. Bayne could well be on for the most goals he's ever scored in a season - just another 3 to get :004:
  10. Maybe missing the last 2 games will have done the trick though. He hasn't really played as well as he did last season - YET!
  11. I think the fact that Munro has extended his contract is the best deal out of the 3. He would be the only one mentioned that I could see another team trying to sign. McBain did deliver a killer cross for the goal last night, that can't be argued but he contributed little else and his continued presence in the team mystifies me. I really don't see what he brings to the team
  12. Just curious to see what everyone else thinks
  13. Actually I think thats a pretty fair assesment of our team, especially the comments about Bayne & McBain
  14. Why did you think the ref had a good game? :016: Perhaps my frustration is coming through as negative, I really thought we had done enough to win the game and then to concede the equalisier so late on was just a big kick in the nuts (pardon my French)
  15. It was a £5 voucher and it was taped to the seats
  16. Real sickener to lose it at the death but we just seemed to back off them the last 5 minutes. Pretty poor game but I really thought we did enough to merit the win. Was quite surprised to see 3 centre forwads on the bench tonight as well. Who was that feckin ref?? He was pish :008:
  17. Doubt Rory or Zander would be loaned out as we need to have them in the squad because of the Under 21 rules
  18. Add Morgan & Hart to the above list. Pretty much anyone in the reserves apart from Golly who doesn't want to go on loan
  19. Didn't know he was a bit of a prima donna :007: Remember him scoring when Falkirk humped us 3-0 last year - looked to have good pace. Think he played in the future squad game up here as well?
  20. I'm sure Mackie was played wide right when he came here on loan and yes Makel is old - 34 in a couple of months I note with interest that Darryl Duffy seems to have fallen out of favour at Hull and has been farmed out on loan to Hartlepool. Probably out with our price range but he'd be a great asset
  21. :016: :015:
  22. Obviously all his UEFA coaching badges didn't cover cliches or meterology. Surely wind and gales are one and the same :006: He should be more worried that Hibs have a dodgy keeper :015:
  23. Pools panel gave it as a home win so fingers crossed :005:
  24. I'd get a new teacup if I were you :004: Mackie is out of contract at the end of the season and the dons aren't in any rush to resign him
  25. I'm afraid Rangers will probably hump United but 2nd would be nice :004:
