From what I read over the weekend I was lead to believe there was a clause in Rankin's contract saying the agent was to get a % of any future transfer fee. If this is the case surely Ross County would be liable to pay that as the contract is between them and the player??? It's now also nearly 72 hours after the 24 hour deadline :017:

If you are quick you can go to the BBC squad selector site and pick J Rankin as a midfielder!! May be the only chace we get unfortunetly

Surely the squabling can only be over a few £k?? The transfer few isn't huge and we don't pay big wages - I agree with RIG this should have been done behind closed doors. I honestly think Rankin is a better player than Black from what I've seen of both of them so I'm hoping the deal hasn't gone t**s up :007:
