  1. Off to America Obscene amount of money quoted and who gives a 5 year contract to a 32 year old (which he will be when he joins in the summer)
  2. kencar replied to RiG's topic in Caley Thistle
He has been very unlucky with injuries the last 18 months but he is an asset when fully fit. Dargo came through a very troubled time with injuries prior to joining us
  3. kencar replied to RiG's topic in Caley Thistle
I suppose a wee loan spell might do him some good but he shouldn't be allowed to leave in my opinion :008: Hart should get sent out on loan along with Golly
  4. kencar replied to Harry Chibber's topic in Caley Thistle
Just don't rate him at all. Perhaps when he does do something good it stands out all the more because he usually is 'the invisible man' As I don't go to away games I've only seen him have maybe 2 good games this season - so that's 2 out of 24!!! Still a lot of people seem to like him and CC obviously does cos he's in the team every week :006:
  5. As he can play on either wing he could easily get starts on the left. No reason that he shouldn't displace Wilson this season either
  6. Does Anyone Believe This Excuse?
  7. Hmmmmm :006: That would mean he would arrive in the summer. All other sources seem to point to us buying him - including Teletext last night!!
  8. Maybe not. I'm sure they said he was one for the future and they would be monitoring his progress. I'm assuming if they are forking out cash for a player now then he is going to figure in the 1st team straight away
  9. I never believe we have signed a player until I see the posed picture of the manager & the player at the stadium holding up an ICT shirt :001:
  10. Who as the the 2nd Division Player of the year last year as we just need him to complete the set if we sign Paatelainen :004: Sounds promising and if he can play on both wings he may be an a great asset Could be the begining of the end for some other members of our squad though
  11. I'd be sad to see Keogh get sent out on loan I think there are others who should be farmed out ahead of him. I think if he was fully fit he should be in the first team but he has had more than his fair share of injuries in the last couple of seasons :007: Of course a few months of regular football would probably do him the world of good. Golly I'd love to see regain his form and his place I just don't see it happening though. Can see him leaving in the summer As for the attendance problem I'm sure I read that Wigan in the Primership have halved there ticket prices for the next 7 home games due to dwindling gates. I'm sure this has been discussed before but do the clubs have to charge a certain amount for SPL games? I've seen adult prices quoted from £18 upwards at various grounds? Couldn't the club offer Under-12's £10 entry or buy 2 full price concession get one free. They are able to put prices up for the OF why not cheaper prices for the less glamorous ties??
  12. This guy could turn out to be a real bargain for the Jambo's if he fulfils his early potential. Newcastle were snifffing around the lad and I was hoping we might be interested. Still it would be a lot of money for us to spend on a youngster Templeton
  13. His argument just doesn't hold any water I'm afraid :006: He's playing pretty much in the central belt every other weekend (outwith Aberdeen) when we play away isn't he?? Surely if Inverness is so far from civilisation he could be watched then?? If he was considered good enough he'd be in the squad
  14. The reason he isn't in the Scotland squad is that he isn't good enough to be in the Scotland squad. The simple fact despite the fact he is a GOOD keeper there are a few weaknesses in his game and thus he is no better than the 3-4 other keepers vying to be the 2nd or 3rd choice to Craig Gordon Of course this is all probably paper talk but it does annoy me when the geography card is played YET again. If he wants to move to Falkirk for a few extra £££'s fair enough but don't pull ths 'I want to play for Scotland and need to move c**p'
  15. Boring draw really getting another SPL team. It would have been nicer to get a lower league team just for a change. Can see this being a potential banana skin for us as well regardless of who gets through - personally I'd prefer St Mirren as I think DUFC are the better team
  16. Saw the quote's on Teletext as well and wasn't very impressed :018: Of course we SHOULD beat them but that's not to say we will. Perhaps Mr Duncan should remember last season when we struggled to beat Ayr United and ultimately lost to Partick Thistle
  17. How many strikers do Celtic need?? By my reckoning he would be there 7th 1st Team forward :014:
  18. kencar replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Never had any problem with any steward at a Caley Thistle match to date so not sure what all the fuss is about
  19. Bit condescending that don't you think? I'm sure both clubs would be more than able to offer a better financial package for the player than we could
  20. Chick has spoken..... Walter Smith and Ally McCoist till the end of the season when McCoist will take over on his own. He also said they have signed Brown & Thomson from Hibs!!! :010:
  21. Didn't last long at Wigan!!!!
  22. Radio Scotland have apparently scheduled an 'emergency' programme tonight to be entirely devoted to paranoid conspiracy theory's and Chick Young going into meltdown about how he can 'exclusively' reveal who the next Rangers manager will be by naming as many people as he can think of in the hopes 1 of them is right :014:
  23. One wonders if the decision to drop King Barry may have been premeditated to ensure a swift exit from his Ibrox ****?? Poor old Sebo - his Rangers days are likely to be numbered now as well :009: :016: What odds on Walter Smith being the next manager :014:
  24. He managed to name 4 of our players though - that has to be a Scotsport record :015:
  25. Gow aint all that.. Every time I've watched him I've been disapointed! I also know a lot of Season Ticket holders for Falkirk and they all the same, he has the talent but is a lazy *******, I'd prefer Wyness! Hmmmmm...that must by why all those clubs are trying to sign him then :016:
