Tokely was one of our best players by far today and it was nice to see him back to his best It's another landmark for him on Sunday Vs Celtic as it'll be his 300th league start :025: Captain for the day I hope :003:
  2. What a GREAT result :021: There were some fantastic individual performances but ultimately it was a great team performance :025: I feared the worst before the game but Hibs were pretty impotent with lots of tippy tappy passing with no end product. Sad to hear Dargo has such a bad injury. Him and Wyness linked up really well and anyone at the game could see they are our best 2 strkers - just a shame we won't see this partenrship for as long time :009: Nice to see Tokely playing so well again and I thought Dargo, Hastings and Rankin were outstanding :025: Well done the lads :003:
  3. Just been listening to Radio Scotland and Scott Davey was talking about the breaking up of the team. He intimated following the departure of Brown and Dods joining Dundee United that Dargo would definitely be leaving in the summer as well Ho Humm :006:

He's a Celtic reserve now so whether or not he is a good keeper doesn't really concern us. I'm more interested in how ICT No 1 Michael fraser plays :003:

Here's hoping Golly & Keogh do a great job for Peterhead. I think Keogh is more than able to hold his own in our first team but he's had a bad run of injuries. Still I think both him and Golly should be praised in there desire to play first team football even at the expense of dropping a couple of divisons. Perhaps Mr Hart and Mr Duncan should take note. Rather than go moaning to the press that they'll leave unless they get picked these 2 have been prepared to bite the bullet and actually looked for a chance to play regular football :025:

BBC says both Golly & Keogh have joined Peterhead --LINK--
  7. Not even played a game as our 1st choice keeper and he needs competition for his place :017:
  8. I agree with RiG he's no longer an ICT player so I don't care if, when and how he plays :004:
  9. Fraser Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Wilson Black Rankin Paatelainen Dargo Wyness
  10. Let's hope Hibs are tired other wise we could be in for a VERY difficult afternoon. The way they seem to be playing just now I'd settle for a draw :006:

Only loan moves - for now!
  12. Another who should be consigned to our 'infamous' hall of fame' :014:
  13. You were doing so well then you mentioned signing Samson!! :020: He is NOT a good keeper - just ask Ross County fans what they think of him
  14. I'm just glad I never went ahead with my get rich quick scheme of getting a barrowload of 'I saw Mark Brown save a penalty!!' T-Shirts printed up :004:

Still chuckling from listening to the pundits on Radio Scotland tonight. Jim Duffy desribed Mark as a great kicker of the ball :015: They seemed to think it was a good move for his bank balance :014:
  16. Paul Gerrard has played the last 3 games for SU because Kenny is out for several weeks with a groin strain and he's looked pretty poor Are you sure Smith can't be recalled from loan - surely we have reasonable circomstances to bring him back??
  17. Extra time is essential :015:
  18. I'm sure the goalkeeping coach - is it Stuart Garden? - will provide Fraser with all the support and advice he needs. I wonder if he is still fit enough to pull on the gloves - in an emergency I mean
  19. Dudek from Liverpool - couldn't catch a cold but GREAT at penalties :023: How pissed off would Fraser be if we brought in another keeper ahead of him!! If we do sign someone else surely it would be as his understudy otherwise the message going out to him is 'we don't think you are good enough!'
  20. In the squad photo there is a 4th keeper. Who is he? Is he the Under 18 keeper?? Looks tall
  21. Hopefully the money we are allegedly receiving for Brown can be channelled into strengthening the squad. If it is a 6 figure fee as reported then, combined with the money we had set aside for Brown & Dods wages then perhaps the club can afford to bring in a few new faces. CC has already said that if anyone left the club they have SFL players they'd be keen to bring in. He probably didn't expect it to be our keeper who left though :006:
  22. Do we need another keeper?
  23. kencar replied to maimie's topic in Caley Thistle
How tall is Smith? He looked smallish when I saw him in our friendly against Clach. Still Goram and Klos were/are pretty decent keepers under 6 ft. Harry C - can't really see MB ever being Celtic's No 1 - he's a good keeper but not that good :006:

Still trying to work out the logic of this move other than purely for financial gain :024: Is Boruc moving on in the summer?? Will Marshall's loan become permanent?? Perhaps Mark knows something we don't or he's supremely confident in his own ability or could it be the fact he's probably tripling his wages!! I'm surprised we are letting him go - surely any compensation we get will be minimal for a player with less than 6 months on his contract. Maybe he has a clause in his contract allowing him to move if the OF come calling though :006:

Just heard Richard Gordon talking about it on Radio Scotland just now :010: Great financial move for Mark but career suicide I'm afraid. Still he's bound to get in the Scotland squad now he's a Celtic reserve :016:
