  2. I'd be be a bit surprised if he had committed to signing to anyone just yet :024:

    Keogh

Yeah he had ankle surgery around Christmas time
  4. D-L-D-W-D 6 Points :006:
  5. Cumbernauld? Does it have a team? Pop 50,000-ish Still East Kilbride is the winner approx 74,000
  6. Did Dods only got a 1 match ban after his last red card?? I hope so as teletext originally said he's miss 2 games! Barry would have been struggling for the match anyway with is rib injury?
  7. St Mirren. Simply because I want them in the league next year as they will be losing a few of there better players over the summer and its always nice to have at least 1 rubbish team just in case things go horribly wrong for us!! I think Dunfermline have a decent manager and the potential to strengthen there squad and improve from this years form
  8. Bit of a quandary all in all :024: Going to a 10 team league would just increase the tedium of playing the same teams week in week out, coupled with the fact we have to be one of the clubs at risk of going out of the top league. Increasing the size of the league does look the most attractive on paper but as has been mentioned above you lose a LOT of revenue reducing the number of fixtures especially missing out on at least a couple of old firm games which like it or not keep some clubs heads above water.
  9. HUGE game for County this Saturday. The proverbial 6 pointer at home against Airdrie. Very tempted to go along and have a laugh (and say a wee prayer that we are never in the same position)
  10. It's usually the flair players that catch the eye. The mere fact that Munro & Hastings aren't even in the Top 5 proves that!! Mark Brown must have had a **** of a good couple of months to be in 2nd place considering he left nearly 4 months ago? Do less people vote now than at the start of the season??
  11. No word on whether he actually signed the extension. Maybe this will drag on like the Black saga
  12. I wonder if it hadn't been to the injuries to Wyness & Dargo that Rory might have been sent out on loan this season. The Under-21 player rule which in principal sounds like a good idea could be argued to hinder the progress of some of our younger players!! You would think that the likes of Rory, Sutherland and Soane would probably learn more playing week in week out in the 3rd Division or even Highland League rather than sitting on the bench each week with virtually no chance of getting a game. I think we could/should be looking at bringing in 2 defenders and at least one new front man come the close season
  13. I agree. Hastings has been our most consistent player this year :025:
  14. Schmeichel was abused for being Danish which was taken in a light hearted manner. Latapy was abused for being black which quite rightly has caused some offence. :024:
  15. A 16 team league won't happen just because Rangers & Celtic would only play each other once home and away
  16. No we didn't. Soane, Sutherland & Rory were on the bench. I assume it was to give him some experience rather than having McSwegan who will be gone in the summer. I'd be REALLY disappointed to see Dargo going to Motherwell.Bit of a sideways career move for him for only a little more cash. Saying that they do have nearly £1 million burning a hole in there pocket for Forlan & MacDonald :006:
  17. Apparently if the SPL 2 comes about the favoured structure will see the SPL becoming a 10 team league. It could be that the season after next 3 teams will be relegated with 1 coming up
  18. Very true but County have played him wide right all season and I suspect we might do the same
  19. With respect it's perhaps the chance for others eg Hart, Paatelainen to stake a claim for a regular starting place. Assuming Cowie has been signed as the replacement for Wilson his appearances next year may be limited to a super sub anyway??
  20. I'm guessing that was about his dancing ability as he was an ok keeper :016:
  21. With the benefit of hindsight and not seeing or hearing any of the Rangers game commentary before the hi-lights I did take Harts apparent good performance against Rangers with a pinch of salt. Today I did see a very good display from him which I may have been over critical of but as a player he just frustrates me. He has all the attributes to be a great player and on his game he should be a first team regular but he just seems to be too erratic. He is very popular amongst the supporters but I often feel that's just because he is a local boy. He's entering his final year of his contract so I guess it's up to him to prove his worth to the team. To quote a cliche at the end of the day if he proves to be our star player from here on in I will be the first to stand up and applaud him :021:
  22. Not sure what you are on about? I thought we could have and should have won today as well. I just thought after we went behind we were lucky to get the draw. I also said I though Hart had a good game I just didn't think he was the MoTM -I thought Mcaffrey was!! That's my opinion. If it doesn't agree with yours tough :016:
  23. Obviously they would have been but 100 shots off target still doesn't equate to 1 goal. We could have easily been 2 or 3 nil up by the end of the first half but none of our chances went in!! When we play well I think we could and should beat the likes of Falkirk. It's all well and good raising our game for the likes of Rangers and Celtic but the games against the likes of Falkirk, Motherwell and Dundee United are where we should be looking to pick up 3 points at home!!
  24. and yet we didn't and were incredibly lucky to get a draw :006: Latapy was the best player on the pitch
  25. Were you at the game Alex? Not having a go just asking? We weren't robbed we were bloody jammy to get the draw in the game we could have easily won!! The Ref was pretty poor but the linesman who gave the goal kick when the Falkirk player kicked the ball out stole the show!! Hart played pretty well but he wasn't MOtM he made some truly shocking passes out of the field of play but for him it was a decent performance. Of course that's a personal opinion and for what it;'s worth I thought Stuart McAffrey had a pretty decent game today and he was my MoTM match. I'm still amazed why Markus didn't start the game and then when the hapless Rory was brought on instead of him I had to admit I feared the worst. Still we scrapped a draw at home which we made every attempt to lose :006:
