PS. Anyone think the lack of atmosphere hinders the club when we are trying to attract players? Cant think many players lie awake dreaming of joining a club where they could score a wonder goal only to hear polite clapping and see the stewards telling the few folk actually celebrating behind the goal to sit down. For that matter cant really be much motovation for our current players :024:

I wrote the title of this thread with my tounge slightly in cheek but then realised it could infact be true. The atmosphere at TCS is totaly shocking and im sick of it. Infact its just totaly non-existant. Can anyone tell me a club of our size anywhere in the world with a worse home support? The thing that bugs me is there is no reason why it should be so bad. Why dont people join in with the singing when it does start to break out? I have been to gigs and festivals in and around inverness (rockness for example) and the atmospehere is really good so why does this not transfer to our football team? Its about time the club tried to do something to address this, what i dont know, but some thing has to be done. Im sick of whenever i mention to anyone down here (Edinburgh) im a ICT fan having to try and defend our crap support. Has anyone got any ideas? Hope this doesnt offend anyone on here, and as i now stay in Edinburgh and dont get to many home matches now it may seem a little rich coming from me, but it has always bugged me and nothing seems to get done and it certainly aint getting any better. Any opinions?

To say a proven international can not make it at a higher level than Inverness is just plain daft and very biased. PS. Don't have a blindfold of any sort! A PROVEN INTERNATIONAL ?? - One "friendly" cap in the last five years !! - it is about TODAY not yesteryear. I am simply saying that he has lost the required pace and movement to play at a much higher level on a "regular" basis - I would suspect that he would be a "squad" player in a more illustrious team. I just couldnt see him surviving in the English Prem or any of the other top European leagues. I am actually suggesting that he stays where he is and we look to buy players who fit into a system to accomodate him and use him to his CURRENT strengths. If he does get into the Romanian squad whilst performing as he does with ICT - is he not on a winner ?? 13 goals in 29 games for his country sounds like a proven international to me. I didn't see him play often before his arrival at ICT but the lad is only 26 so i cant see how he could have "lost all his pace and movement", as you put it. I cant imagine he ever was lightning quick. My point was that i did not agree with your statement that he could not play at a higher level than Inverness. Apparently Brewster was offered the role as our new mascot but they couldn't find a costume big enough for his ego. On a more serious note perhaps brewster had a look at our mascots and thought they were performing well so decided to sell angus to hibs for tuppence and then sent ICAT to train with the u19's. Just a thought :023:

Why do they think we should be gratefull? I for one miss the days where we were an attacking exciting team and looked forward to another goal fest at the TCS. Now i just sit and hope Brewster hasen't taken another disliking to one of our better players and fear for next season.

Hughes would never leave Falkirk to come to ICT. neither would billy reid i fear
