  1. I picked up on that and it did get me thinking. Wyness, Bayne, Dargo and Dods are probably the most obvious candidates to come back. I think we could be seeing the end of Black in an ICT shirt though. Butcher was scathing about him having signed a PCA while on setanta a few weeks ago. Why was he so scathing about him signing a PCA? He basically said he disagreed with them and that they showed a lack of loyalty to your club. He then went on to say that of he was in charge of ICT Ian Black would never play for the club again. Oh well, perhaps he should be more scathing re his current employers for not sorting out Blacks contact a good while ago and then it wouldnt be an issue

  3. I must admit I would have preferred a lets see how you do until the end of season, keep us up and you will get an exstention to the contract
  4. Can we get one with blood stains down the front, I heard our new manager prefers that on a white strip

Alex have you seen the average size of the users on this site, it looks extremely lightwieght to me :thumb04:
  6. If we get relegated will he stay? Every chance he'd walk. Yeah.... but the point is Alex - He'd want paid for the remainder of his contract - reported yesterday by Setanta to be an 18 month deal... You dont get paid if you walk He hasnt even been formally announced yet and we are discussing him leaving, come on guys give the guy a chance
  7. I dare say if Brewster was to become manager of Brentford there would be a few ICT fans posting on their website and I am sure it wouldnt be good luck messages for Brewster.
  8. Hope they are not including Maradona in that, i doubt he will be getting a good luck message from him

He is a good player with the potential to be a great player, he should stay at ICT for a few years and learn his trade then he may become a great player.
  10. While I am from the pro-Robbo camp and I am dissapointed I also think it is unfair to show any negativity towards Butcher, he is coming into ICT with a clean slate and he should be judged from what he does now.
  11. I voted yes for a 2 horse race when I meant to vote for no, I think it is a 4 horse race between ourselves, St Mirren, Falkirk and Hamilton. I would be happier if Hamilton were closer to us but with the points still available I think we can catch 1 if not 2 of those teams above us. However I think for us to do that we need to get a striker in before the window closes.
  12. I can only second what Caley D said, he is our new manager and come the end of the season hopefully our saviour. Whether we would have chose him is neither here or there, the board have decided he is the man to get us off the foot of the table so we should all get behind him. One thing that is for sure is its not going to be an easy task but Butcher knew that when he took on the task so he must believe he can lead us to safety.
  13. Has been reported in a few places that he is giving up his sentanta job
  14. So you think the long term plan is that Tel keeps us up, and then Malpas takes over when Tel moves on at the end of the season? Never crossed my mind until you mentioned it
  15. Malpas, who was considered a candidate in his own right only a matter of days ago, would offer a compromise solution whereby Butcher would have solid backing if otherwise occupied This part worries me, hopefully the board will only have considered him if he is 100% committed,
  16. Is that confirmed he has been offered it or confirmed he has accepted it
  17. The board must have been satisfied with his commitment and we have to hope that the board have made the right desision and get right behind him
  18. I would question that as Robbo hasnt actually been interviewed Edited as just found out I was wrong about that.
  19. Some kind of announcement due tomorrow Looks kind of likely, but I believe there are 1 or 2 issues to resolve before an appointment is made. Talks still ongoing this evening it would seem. I'm sure it's just a few minor details (like relocating). Wants to keep his Scotland job, TV work and might be an issue with relocating, he sounds commited
  20. Yes thats always a possibility, of course presuming he has actually been offered it
  21. I think the club they would make an announcement by Tuesday this week
  22. As the Scotland job apparently earns him 100k a year I would imagine he will try to keep that also
  23. Just trying to think of other managers that have successfully combined International duties with club managment there must be few?
  24. Yes and if what I heard is correct can keep the tv work until the end of season, if he keeps us up he will stay and tv work will go Stevico : Will you be making an "official" announcement on here soon? :thumb04: No mate just telling like I heard it but like I said on previous thread just hearsay at moment
  25. I cant see that if the club wanted Robbo back it would have been as manager
