  1. Butchers job has got a great deal more difficult and he hast been in charge for a match yet
  2. Ouch, Hamilton are on some run at the moment, a wee run like that ourselves is in order
  3. I will send you a copy of one of mine that I used. While it's not gotten me a job it got me some interviews and "informal" interviews with people to get advice and they all said the letter was good. My flat mate works as a contractor through Orion for Conoco but I have been writing / emailing to the oil companies direct. not to their HR department but to the actual environmental department and a named person. That way it won't get lost in the generic HR department where no one will touch it. Rig, I have worked in Recruitment for a long time, including Orion. What you say is true CVs do sometimes get lost in the HR Department system, what I would say is yes contiue to send your CV to the actual department but at the same time sent it to the HR department as with some companies unless you send it to there first you will not get put on their companies system.
  4. Scarlet, I have been behind Butcher since the minute he was appointeted, I have spoke to players who have only had positive things to say about him since he has arrived, although its not going to be easy I do think we can stay up. I think his interviews have been a breath of fresh air. I know we havent played a game under his stewardship as yet but so far I am very encouraged by Butcher. The only thing I said was that I am still slightly worried that we left the change to late.
  5. Husband to wife "do you know something you are the double of kate moss" Wife replies "do you really think so darling" Husband replies "yes really she is 8 stone and you are 16 stone you fat *****"
  6. Alex, I have been fully positive myself and all that I have heard from the stadium is positive, still just a touch worried I suppose. But yes I do think we can do it
  7. I know where you are coming from - but it is the Board of Muppets and Brewster that we should be decrying - You have to accept that we will be lucky to take anything out of the Cellic game - a point would be a massive bonus. Butcher cant sort out the mess made by the Board of muppets and Brewster in a feckin week - especially if one of the Muppets is advising him. It is not his fault that he has been landed in the doo doo - we simply have to give a chance - the proof will be the change in the system, the change in the selections - no doubt a million miles away from what Brewster and the Muppets favoured. Hopefully Butcher can change the mind set on and off the pitch. All we can hope fer on Saturday is a display of passion and effort - till the death - and that may be just about enuff to scare the pants of the Cellic. Scotty - I TOLD YA SO - since April 2008. Yep, the bigest problem is time, if we had made the change of management when it should have happened I am sure we wouldnt be in the position we are in now. The biggest thing we can look for on Sunday is a change in attitude of the team which I have heard is already there, playing players in the correct position and in the correct system. He will play 4-4-2 on Sunday. I just hope we havent left it to late
  8. Not sure of the team but Barrowman will start and it will be a 4-4-2
  9. Is one of the ghost busters wearing shades
  10. Seen him at Eden Court a good few years back , a real genius RIP
  11. Yes and 3 players I believe we could have kept if they had been offered a decent deal at the right time, thats Black, Cowie and Fraser all gone for nothing lets hope we dont make the same mistake with Vigurs.
  12. I also met Malky a good few times and while not commenting on his coach abilities I also found him to be a nice guy.

    cowie

Surprised by this new as I heard yesterday his preference was still to stay at ICT
  14. You have to feel for Flood I bet when he scored his first one he thought thats my job done for tonight,
  15. possibly not so good.. at least they'll be a bit leggy And hope we dont concede a penalty to them
  16. Ah you have heard :thumb04: ,Listed by Dinamo as in dire straights and cant afford his 500k Euro salary, Spartak Moscow preparing a 900k Euro bid
  17. They told me it was only Blackie that was leaving on a pre contact agreement
  18. I will turn this around and if CC or (Brewster ) had been a massive success as a manager here and been invited to become Scotland Assitant manager would we not have seen that as a massive compliment then
  19. Yes and I hope that switch in attidude has happened with the players has well

    Iain Vigurs

Yes if Black is not part of the plans best to try to get hearts to take him now, problem is I have heard Hearts arent deperate to take him until the end of the season as they are already packed out with midfielders and need to get rid of some in the summer.
  21. While before his appointment I was worried about his previous record now it doesnt matter a jot, what matters now is his record at ICT and hopefully on Monday morning next week it will read played 1 won 1
  22. He has only played one compeditive game this year and that was back in the intertoto cup, Hamilton had him for 2 weeks but decided against making a move for him
  23. I would imagine the away end will have a few choice ones for him although not so welcoming I suppose
  24. Well thats Robbo out of the way again lads.
  25. I picked up on that and it did get me thinking. Wyness, Bayne, Dargo and Dods are probably the most obvious candidates to come back. I think we could be seeing the end of Black in an ICT shirt though. Butcher was scathing about him having signed a PCA while on setanta a few weeks ago. Why was he so scathing about him signing a PCA? He basically said he disagreed with them and that they showed a lack of loyalty to your club. He then went on to say that of he was in charge of ICT Ian Black would never play for the club again. Oh well, perhaps he should be more scathing re his current employers for not sorting out Blacks contact a good while ago and then it wouldnt be an issue Precisely. Lets hope he can convince Cowie and Vigurs to sign new deals. I hope he can and imagine he will be his own man and if he wants to keep them will do all in his powers to do just that
