  1. Another rumour I have been hearing a lot of in previous weeks is one I am pleading is to come true. Brewster will be adding Marius Niculae to his summer clearout and hopefully getting a big cheque in return, all of which he will plunge into a huge effort to tempt Craig Dargo back. With Niculaes stupendous wages off the bill, Dargo will be offered almost twice what he was at the end of last season to lure Drago back to the club where he enjoyed the most successful season in his career, scoring 20 goals in a great season for ICT. With Dargo back all lingering fears of relegation I have will be blown away in a flurry of goals for the wee man. And only then will I be convinced that we have a use for Graham Bayne.
  2. This reliable information arrives from the mouth of an ex-dundee utd fan who now lives in luton working as a mechanic and is a regular luton attendee. Brewster, scouting the lower leagues of England looking for recruitments to freshen the squad up, has targeted young left-sided defender/midfielder Lewis Emmanuel, who currently plays for Luton. Spotted among the crowd by my informant who used to worship the man, the gaffer saw Emmanuel play a solid game for Luton, in the match that officially relegated the troubled club. Emmanuel joined Luton on a free transfer in July 2006 after a successful trial period after being released by Bradford City. In November 2006, Lewis was called-up to the Republic Of Ireland ?B? side for the first time in his career. He played the full 90 minutes at left-back in a 0-0 draw with Scotland at Dalymount Park. With Luton suffering 2 relegations in a row, they are thought to be considering a mass clearout and Brewster has his eyes on the young Emmanuel, a player who has pace, skill and determination. Could Brewster be signing exactly what we need???? :021: :021: It would make for a pleasant change.
  3. If he stays on until next season and scores more than 10/12 goals then I would consider him a success. If not then he can bow out and move onto bigger and better things like all our players. :029:
  4. We'll see how good a manager he is in this transfer window. If he manages to clear out the deadwood who aren't prepared to raise their games for the important fixtures, and then bring in another gem like dargo, Brewster should stay on for life.
  5. Afraid to say the answer to getting back team morale could lie in selling marius in the summer. He has apparently caused a lot of controversy in the dressing room, although most of it i'm sure is paper-talk, while contributing only 9 goals this season. As much as i love niculae, he should probably go, freeing up some wages and keeping our longest-serving players happy and playing well. Also, with Juanjo waiting in the wings who needs a romanian international? :023:
