  1. The thing is we've seen it too many times before and we know the signs when we see them, and yesterday was a glaring warning to the entire squad. I'd be more than delighted for Scotland to turn it around and qualify but i can't see it. The last round of qualification games were the best for 10 years but it was based on the feel good factor around the scottish game and the belief plus momentum after beating France. I don't think putting on a decent second half showing against macedonia will spur on the boys to anything great this time.
  2. Macedonia 0-1 Scotland Game over. No chance of qualifying on that show. Burley is all talk and no walk. Even if we do pick up a point or 3 away to Iceland, with duds like Broadfoot and Maloney in the team, what chance do we stand??? None whatsoever. For me Burley has gone back to the "pick an old firm player if theres no-one else" tactic and its failed miserably. A pathetic showing and then he has the audacity to come out after and praise the performance? Is he off his head?? We lost all momentum in the friendly games, and everyone lost their confidence. Not helped by injuries and the heat but if we are to live up to the tags of upstarts Macedonia are the type of teams we need to beat. Still, can't wait for the next game, good to have something to moan about now caley are the new footballing side of the spl.
  3. sorry, ex-celt (shows how much i care) murdo macleod. Seems to have a liking for us.
  4. We will never get Mcpake. But even without mcpake, stay away from league 2 rejects
  5. The only pundits i can listen talk about us, without it descending into patronising the entire team, are waddel and that ginger ex-ger on bbc radio. Makes me sick every time i see a report and i know it is nothing like what happened during the game. Although it makes me glad that I support ICT and not an over-hyped glory-hunting ridiculously sh*t central belt team. How hard can it really be to win the spl with literally 100 times the budget of all the other teams??
  6. sportscene is terrible, but hearing about setanta has put me off getting it. anywhere i can see decent highlights?? What about this TV system that clubs are setting up on their websites, so that you can see better highlights and news about your club?? Aberdeen have set it up, why can't we?
  7. i know he came through the youth system, but does anyone know where he is from?
  8. like the idea but only if there are better transport links on the way eg more buses departing from town centre and around sneck, a trafficking system put in place so it wouldn't take hours to leave and maybe another bridge. Doubt it would put another 1000 on the gate, unless the club lowered ticket prices it would be nearer to an extra 400-500.
  9. for me, munro and proctor looked very impressive last season in central defence and i don't know if Duff and Munro could better that. For vigurs, the ict midfield is packed and it will be hard for him to hold down a place, but long may the form of both these players continue
  10. Great result, i thought we were playing falkirk at the wrong time today but they pulled it off. Disappointed i missed dougies goal and roscoes 'samba skills' (according to radio) but still delighted with 3 points away to falkirk. This could prove to be a decisive 3 points in our season.
  11. From the sublime to the utter sh*te. pathetic, woeful, disappointing, crap, rubbish, pish, terrible, bad, lousy, inept, incompetent, amateurish, dire, shambolic, dreech, horrible, awful, boring, worrying, disconcerting, shameful, embarassing, utterly avoidable and above all pure garbage. All in all bring on Liverpool.....
  12. seemed to be around the 800-1000 mark
  13. Possibly the best game ive ever been to and possibly the best day of my life. Almost p*ssing myself waiting for the final whistle and then Roy McNain manages to run 50 yards and sweep home the best move i have seen in a long time from ICT. Keep it up brewster, i don't know how you did it but long may it continue...
  14. The quality of the defence and attack concerns me, but no doubt we have a better squad than killie, they're really bad and won't get any money to spend in January.
  15. What would happen if ICT accepted the 5% handling fee, and then hiked the prices up for the supporters clubs tickets by 5%??? The OF fans wouldn't stand for it, and ict can pass the blame onto Rangers and Celtic..
  16. So far I think the best combination from the strikers we have is Barrowman & Imrie Definitely. They looked impressive together in the second half against county. I'd rather have Imrie and Barrowman than Niculae + Wood/Mcallister. Or 4-3-3 with Rooney going up front as well. :crazy07:
  17. Anyone else going along by train? Quite a good fare at ?15 and better than being cramped in the supporters bus.
  18. Not complaining about any of those, just saying we are doing well.
  19. Any idea how much it is to see the game on tuesday??
  20. The tickets are now too expensive for anyone over 16, i for one am not looking forward to having to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get enough money to buy myself a season ticket next year. What with the 'credit cunch' and all that, less and less people will even consider spending ?25 to see ICT play St mirren in the middle of winter. I know this isn't an option in the minds of most people posting on this site, but its getting more and more difficult to see your team play. Another factor in fans not arriving regularly through the gate is obviously tv deals. Another is the players lack of a) appreciation and b) interaction with the fans (excluding a few like roscoe and marius). Another is the staium being so far away from the metropolis of Inverness town centre, making getting to games even more difficult. We are destined never to have big crowds regularly but if you look at teams such as Dundee, Livingston and Dunfermline pulling in crowds as low as 1500 (albeit in the 1st division) and Aberdeen only achieving maximum attendance once in the last 15 years or something, we're not doing too badly.
  21. That makes me wonder whether if hearts got a decent manager (unlikely. i kmow) then Elliot could be staying.
  22. I've always liked calum elliot, and wasn't he being tipped for Scotland not 1 year and a 1/2 ago??
  23. I found it funny but i think it is a site for the older or more informed mind, with talk of UHI and IHE.
  24. I'd love to see him stay, a great player and an even better personality. But financial reasons will mean he will probably be leaving. Maybe, just maybe, the club's directors could show a little bit of ambition in the transfer market and keep our best player??
