  1. ?800,000 seems a pretty good deal for me. I was expecting in the region of ?200k, maybe all this publicity has pushed up his valuation. Hope brew gets a big chunk of it to spend, and not be forced to sponge off county for another year. Is our record transfer fee still ?65,000 for don cowie? Worth it, but still a pitiful record.
  2. 200k for Andy Barrowman???? It is over 3 years granted but Barrowman is not worth 200k. From the times i've seen him, he is not SPL quality. I know that this phrase is thrown around when ICT attempt to lure a lower league player up to snecky, but Andy is not good enough, and definitely not 200k good enough.
  3. We'll see, we'll see. What Jackson says and what Jackson does are two different things.... Trust me, my words have no shadows :tic01: :tic01: :014:
  4. Just thought i would open your eyes to the wonders of a couple of websites i have stumbled upon in my lifetime. first off, a funny wee site that takes the p#ss (in a sort of jovial way) of inverness. www.inversnecky.wordpress.com sorry, don't know how to do a hyperlink. The other is my favourite site of all time, www.cultzeros.co.uk This is what spwaned the name tokelyisvictorious, as i organised a bright canary-yellow t-shirt with Tokelys mug on it that states tokely is victorious along the front. Even got the big man to sign it!!! Great site, would recommend it. People are very friendly and helped me to get a pic of Rosscoe to use, plus a price of ?12 is rather good. by the way, i am getting a new t-shirt from the cultzeros team, but i can't think of another caption for rosscoe, any thoughts?? enjoy yourselves
  5. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST And then in the courier just 3 days later. I speak the truth, Andy Jackson will be playing for ICT next season!!! tokelyisvictorious, soothsayer. :021:
  6. I get the feeling that he will be forced out the door, but if the caley board had any sense they would keep him. He's only going to get better and better. From Marius's point of view, he has found a club where he can be the star and fans favourite, hes back in the romania squad and he is apparently enjoying life immensely where he is. Why go? Plus, just to be slightly on topic, if juanjo does sign, that would be the best strike partnership in the spl IMO. :021:
  7. Tried Ebay but Paypal takes a large chunk off my final price because of a fecking 'business account' thing, and i can't be bothered waiting a month for the money to transfer to my bank account.
  8. Jackson is just the player we need. He would almost be like Dargo but a bit taller and a better all-round player. Anyone else hear we have signed a ytouth player called Porter just released from Rangers? Read it a minut ago from the Sunday Mail.
  9. Sorry to clutter up this forum with such garbage, but I am currently looking to flog my ICT match programmes from last season, about 20 altogether in very good condition, but with no success. Anyone know of someone or somewhere that will buy them?????
  10. Unfortunately for him, it looks as though we are going to need him on form for almost all of next season. His time in the 3rd div will only have strengthened him, and bearing in mind that Dougie Imrie was playing amateur football 4 years ago.
  11. If they had any sense they would play Ronaldo up front, but that would really set off Motson and co so I hope they resist.
  12. Even if we don't sell Niculae, Brew should have a good budget. Aftr all he is looking for at least 2 new players and has gotten rid of Denzil, Watt, McDonald and McCaffery so he should have a flexible enough wage budget. Probably getting paid more with the saints than he would with us, such is football, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind playing at Ibrox and Easter Road compared to Victoria Park or a half-empty Almondvale.
  13. I agree that Bayne has put in some heroic performances over the years and is a plyer that should be recognised more in his contribution to the club. BUT Rory? He looks as though he is a good player, he has all the attributes : pace, height, strength, finishing. However I've seen about 3/4 of a good game from him in the last two years, so I really think he needs to work harder to impress the fans. Nevertheless I am prepared to give him another chance, but he is quickly running out of them.

  19. I'm really looking forward to seeing the wee man in action next season, a player that seems to have the ability to turn a game around and someone that we need right now.
  20. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Any other international-qualtiy player joined us and I would be suspicous from the off, but I get the sense that Marius enjoys his time in Inverness, and likes the club. Also, he did have bigger offers on the table when we offered him a contract, so maybe he has his feet on the ground and money isn't really a big issue for him? Back on subject, Juanjo would be a good signing for us, and is one of few players left who have a real passion for the club.
  21. From what I saw, POrtugal came close on about 4 occasions in the second half alone. However ill be waiting to see how the other big guns perform before placing my bets. Heard yesterday that from the way the tournament is structured, that Germany won't meet Italy, France, Holland etc until the final, as they play in groups c + d while the germans are playing in group b. :024: :024:
  22. After seeing Portugal comfortably dispatch of Turkey, who are no mugs, I am thinking of changing my prediction of Spain winning Euro 08. Portugal hit the woodwork 3 times and looked very slick. I suspect that there will be a fair few bets on them tommorrow, and I might join them. Portugal and Romania are very alike, both one-man shows (ronaldo and ......marius of course). With France notoriously slow starters and Italy missing a couple of key players this could be anyones tournament, but I am now fancying Portugal to sneak it. However i am open to persuasion...
  23. I'm just raising hte cash now, should buy mine before the end of the month. Wonder how many season ticket holders there will be next season?
