  1. Like anyone putting money into their ltd company the contributor must directly see something for their money. As a director it is your responsibility to ensure it is spent where it is most needed. If supporters invested in the Supporters Society the shares would be held by them and this would eventually strengthen the supporters voting rights. I would also insist that ALL directors of this company have a substantial share holding before I asked for anyone elses money.
  2. To be in the financial position we are in we must forget about "giving". I remember the days when youth coaches at Celtic had to have their expense sheet authorised by the CHAIRMAN Fergus McAnn and if they had given the bus driver a tip it came out of their OWN pocket. Let's be clear here, one person, should be in control of ALL expenditure, no matter how small, and that should be the Chair or Finance Director (don't know if we have one) and NOT the Chief Exec. From what I've been told the bonus to beat Ross County would choke a horse when winning should have been incentive enough. We don't have any money to squander so let's get severe controls in and live within our means.
  3. so how many people do you need and how much would they need to pay?
  4. Oh i think the idea is fine. My only doubt is how popular it would be. Maybe I'm wrong but we would need a very sizeable investment from "Mrs Budge". Maybe the Supporters Trust could be the catalyst where members pay monthly and the trust buys shares monthly. We need clever folk to set this thing up and unfortunately I'm not one.
  5. Don't think you'll see any movement there Satan for as long as Dave the Builder has any influence.
  6. It should be remembered that the Hearts model is supported by considerably more fans than we could ever hope for. They also have Mrs Budge.
  7. Let's be clear here. I do not grudge Charles Bannerman two glasses of diet coke. The problem lies in the fact that a club with our financial problems are NOT in a position to give FREE anything. Sorry if this upsets anyone but that's the way I see it. Maybe the directors should pay for any hospitality they provide in the boardroom (for all I know maybe they do).
  8. maybe if we cut out the boardroom free bar to freeloaders it would help reduce the losses.
  9. did you really hae a mop like that IHE? Och sorry I forgot you went to the caddy.?
  10. oh cone on Polo Chick I'm sure you didn't complain when he wore the blue and red
  11. he was here before robbo arrived.l
  12. personally i don't think he was bad at all. i would still like him in our team but that won't happen.
  13. For the boys sake folks just accept that he has had to retire due to persistent injury problems and his old club seem to be supporting him (not his fault). JR had to get Jake off the books because of some plonk giving him a huge contract so he actually saved the club money.
  14. caleyboy replied to Gringo's topic in Caley Thistle
glad someone can afford our "community club" dinner.
  15. You know what, if we could experience last night on a more regular basis with football passion and crowd atmosphere i doubt if anyone would be bothered who was on the board or how they performed.
  16. haven't seen so many happy positive posts for a long long time - here's hoping we get many more?
  17. wow. that was a game that had it all. goals - mistakes - good football - noisy support. if that doesn't encourage folk to come back i don't know what will.Jordan White was my mom.
  18. Just been told that AB left before Christmas so I don't understand the secrecy
  19. according to companies house the most recent accounts were lodged in Jan 18 and the directors decided against lodging the profit and loss account.
  20. I see Danny Macdonald was with JR running the rule over County against East Fife. Is he now involved with the first team?
  21. so is it the case we have been trading whilst insolvent? is that not against the law?
