To me it’s a real puzzler working out where it went wrong. I would blame Lennon, but he took over near the end of 2018-19 and Ryan had a great season 2019-20. However this season he’s made pretty much the same number of appearances, though has scored a lot less, everybody seems to agree he wants away and you’ve got Celtic fans offering to drive him to Burnley or whatever.

I think he's lost his mojo for the hoops and some of the support certainly seem to want him away. If he wanted to stay I think a new contract would have been signed by now. 🤔

You were right with the last bit

Gardyne is/was a super player and would help bring on the younger players coming through. I really do think Billy is now past his best but hey...... we will never know unless we try.

Whatever happened to the much publicised loan arrangements with Sheffield United to give several of their youngsters first team football with us? I can't recall one player ever coming here to play.

That was just spin the Builder was splurting at that time.

Brad is a good player who will be a valuable signing by Falkirk. He may become their captain and will most likely pick up a league winners medal next season. He moves closer to his roots and as previously stated, a three year contract offers some stability.

Very fortunate getting a 3 year contract.

According to the P and J, John Robertson was in Kircaldy at the weekend on some kind of scouting mission which is a positive :ictscarf:

As I have said a few times, I hope we are looking at younger players rather than the usual suspects or failed Loss County rejects that are being rumoured on Twitter etc.

Tom Walsh is another but I would  actually be ok with him returning :P, tthough I don't see it happening.

Dont know what he could be scouting when there is no football at moment.

I entirely agree and, assuming it was the right person, it would be fantastic positive publicity for the club.

However, I don't think that Shelley Kerr would be the right choice.

I also dont think she would be the right choice. No matter the sec, footballers need to respect their manager/coach and I don't think she would have the respect of the dressing room. That accent would put them all to sleep 🙄

  7. Racism is unacceptable in any form but has the guy not paid the price and maybe  just maybe he should be allowed to get on with life? Uncle Roy is normally quite a good judge of character so he must be seeing something others don't.

She is a very knowledgeable person. It is only a question of time before we see a female manager or coach of a male team in the UK.

Do us a favour.  Cant stand the woman whose only experience in mens football was with Stirling University a number of years ago.

Peanut is an excellent coach. That is a good appointment for The Bairns

Good move for Paul. Barry Robson will have a good shout for our job I think but I do agree Billy Dodds is probably favourite.

What is the likelihood that the new head coach, very possibly in his first manager role, will immediately be better than Robbo/McCann were?

I think it will depend on his playing style, how current players respond to him and the new signings he makes

  11. Exciting times ahead with a new head coach and developments within the club. This is more like it, good communications doesn't hurt anyone. I like the idea of sensible interviews with someone who seems to know what behind the scenes football is all about. 👏👏👍

    So in summary...

    - Inexperienced head coach incoming with potential.

    - Relaying of pitch.

    - Concerts lined up.

    - Fans forum for dialogue with board.

    - ICTV to be part of season ticket package.

    - McCann was offered job and declined.

Probably missed a few bits, I'm sure someone will fill in the gaps.

Didn't hear him say that the new head coach will be inexperienced.

I see Alex Fisher is a free agent.

Whilst not always for players returning, I would like to see him back.

All round positive guy and was a fans favourite.

    Thoughts?

I'd be all for that. Big question mark over Toddy staying so he would be ideal replacement
