SOUNDS LIKE A SOUR GRAPES SITUATION. SCOTT WAS NOT LIKED BY A LOT OF DUNDEE SUPPORTERS, BUT I BELIEVE HE IS DOING A VERY GOOD JOB WITH US. AS OUR CHAIRMAN WHO IS A BUSINESSMAN WITH OTHER INTERESTS LIVES NEAR DUNDEE HE CANNOT BE ON BECK AND CALL 24HRS PER DAY.WE HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE ON SITE EVERY DAY. I BELIEVE WE HAVE THE RIGHT MAN IN SCOTT. BRIGADOO IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!
Personally, I dont think a chairman living so far away is the ideal business model for our club which seems to be in serious trouble. Good on site leadership on and off the park and behind the scenes is essential to give us every chance of survival. If our chief exec cant lead us out of this mess then the board should be appointing someone who can. Strong leadership is what we need NOW.

Can only be a good appointment our strikes need all the coaching from someone as experienced as BD
Good evaluation Cat. I remember the days when you were between the sticks at Caley and Forres, keeping strikers at bay. A Kenny Mackenzie and "Romeo" student

Good and welcome appointment imo

Yes unfortunately and I've said that a lot this season, only to be shot down!!
I really don't have any idea what the f*** he does in training but it certainly can't be effective if we a) can't defend properly or b) players are ignoring him (see last week after match interview to see what I mean).
I don't like calling for managers sackings lol (I've giving Townsend plenty time, even on back of poor RWC) but this time, I just can't see how we can improve under his stewardship, I really think his mental health issues are hampering us too, he should resign and let someone else in (God knows who though).
I think we are going to be fine this season, probably between 5 and 7th so the bonus is, youngsters get a chance of playing (that's actually a bonus of signing nobody all month too) so the summer could be crucial in terms of getting players in if that's needed.
I hope you never suffer from mental health issues. You are a disgrace and you should be ashamed of yourself

If we aren't already we really are becoming a second rate club. A crying shame.

From what I've been told, Robbo gave them a bit of a blasting at half time after which they seemed to have lost confidence and started the long ball nonsense. Also told that he and Todorov had a bit of a verbal collision which if true, needs sorted quickly.

Need to get past a good Buckie side before we think about County

I had heard from another source that Ryan had put in a transfer request. I'm not sure Celtic would let him go for £5.8 million to Leicester though. He could do a decent job for struggling Arsenal who might pay significantly more. Would ICT get a 5 or 10% sell on fee?
who knows, you would need to ask his father or the club

Crowd pleasers are all very well but we can't afford that luxury just now.
The lad clearly has talent, cutting out the show boating will benefit both him and us for as long as he is pulling on our shirt.
Restricting pure talent is what's wrong with Scottish football. Let him play, it won't please some but I love watching his ability to beat opponents.

Excellent result and performance. Our young boys are improving with every game. The future looks good, if not this season look out for next. Super.

I may be wrong but I dont think we invest much in sports science so not surprised.

The recent developments on COVID measures surely reduce the prospect of fans getting into stadiums any time soon. Teams in our league just aren’t viable without crowds. What’s going to happen, will there even be a season 20/21 for us?
Boris J is basically saying that restrictions continue for 6 months so I don't see us survive without financial aid

One for Alan Simpson to get excited about
He's a time bomb and high maintenance but used to know his way to goals.

I just can't believe there is a need for a full time coach for any youth squad. If true it's time we saw sense and restructured the whole set up.

I no Robbo signed Sutherland but don't think hell play him much be a bench warmer I'd imagine big step up from Elgin to our level
I don't think he'll be a bench warmer Alan. He's a proven striker and I think he'll give him a chance to prove it at this level.

It's not rocket science play a striker out wide he's not going to get amongst the goals nor tbf be an effective winger Robbo likes a big lump up top so be Toddy I'd imagine! Unless Robbo can change his formation ie 1 lump up top well struggle again for goals Toddy like White is no where near good enough to play that holding lone striker role! On a brighter note be a coup if we got Simon Murray for an tried to get him before good player at this level
are you forgetting Shane?

not our business whether he needs the cash or not. I've seen the day when we would relish our manager being a pundit on the box.
