  1. I presume that'll be the lad Morrison from Ross County then.
  2. My take on the new signings - Mark Ridgers - Looks a bit dodgy to me. Shot stopping is reasonable enough, but his kicking is very poor and looks really weak at crosses. A pointless signing as well. Joe Chalmers - Too slow, dodgy, poor defensively and offers nothing going forward. He was a worse left-back than Lionel Djebi-Zadi! Perhaps he'll be re-born as a left sided centre half but at left back he gives me the fear! John Baird - Can't fault his effort but I'll be surprised if he scores more than ten goals this season. George Oakley - Another work horse but again I don't think he's a goalscorer. Perhaps playing him on the wing or as a number 10 is an option. Riccardo Calder - Versatile and quick, he does have something about him. While he has a habit to drift in and out of games, he certainly looks better on the wing than at left back. Think he'll turn out quite well. Matthew Elsdon - A lumbering young defender who was looks rather error-prone. Can see him turning out for the likes of Kingstonian and Leatherhead in the next few years. Connor Bell - A real livewire who reminds me a bit of Noel Hunt. I like his tenacity. Again though, is he a goalscorer? Felticiano Zschusschen - I wonder if we've been conned here. He's absolutely useless. Slower than a week in jail and couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo! Zak Elbouzedi - Only saw him properly against Forres where he looked impressive. We've yet to see yet if he can cut it against Championship sides though. Charlie Trafford - Looks neat and tidy today and seems less lumbering than Draper. I was impressed by today's showing. Alex Cooper - Powderpuff. Coll Donaldson - Yet to see him. Hopefully it stays that way.
  3. Polworth played as a number ten in the first half as part of a 3-4-1-2 and I do thought he did pretty well on the whole - far better than last week and his previous stints on the wings. In the second we went defensive and seemed to have him alongside Trafford in a 3-1-4-2 where he was much less effective.

  5. Seemingly Zschusschen will miss out through injury and Cooper is a possible absentee as well. I assume Elbouzedi is still out. Esson Seedorf Raven Warren Calder Polworth Trafford Vigurs Bell Oakley Baird Subs - Ridgers, Mckay, Mulraney, Chalmers, Elsdon, Foy, MacDonald
  6. https://www.snsgroup.co.uk/dmcs-search.html?find=inverness caledonian thistle Have a look who's between Polworth and Zschusschen. A bad start to the season has just gotten even worse - Donaldson is a vile signing. He's absolutely terrible!
  7. If Peterhead is in use, would it not make more sense (especially in regards to the away support) having the game at say Keith or Inverurie?
  8. I've heard on the grapevine that the Tulloch name will dropped from the stadium in the relatively near future.
  9. A centre back who's absolutely rubbish and a midfielder, who at the age of 21, has barely played a first team game in his life and has been crocked for the best part of two years. Hmmm.
  10. Oh God. Brad Mckay, Joe Chalmers and Coll Donaldson all in the same defence - I feel better already...
  11. Oh great the old 'the players might be reading the forum' chestnut. If they are - good! Hopefully it inspires some to pull the finger out. Now I know his hands are tied to a certain degree but has anyone really been particularly inspired by John Robertson yet? Many of signings look poor while tactically he seems no better than his predecessor - long balls forward in a flat 4-4-2 that was heading out of fashion the last time he was here.
  12. No he didn't. He gave Hughes the biggest budget in the club's history to play with and then some more. Hughes through the dummy out when he wasn't given even more, despite being told the club had no more money to give. This was also after Hughes had blown some of the budget on dross like Liam Hughes and Dani Lopez.
  13. We knew this when we signed him, but Joe Chalmers could quite well be the worst left back we've ever had...and I include Lionel Djebi-Zadi in that. He just does absolutely nothing. He's fit enough to fill the role but he offers nothing in attack, looks defensively all over the place and essentially just fills a gap. At least Lionel was fast, Chalmers doesn't even have that!
  14. Raven was a centre-back in his Liverpool days before Rafa Benitez converted him into a right back. Say he reverted back to his old position, would he be better than Elsdon was yesterday? Surely he couldn't be any worse.
  15. We've been playing a flat 4-4-2. That type of system was done away with years ago.
  16. Robbo seems keen on 4-4-2 but it seems so outdated. I've wondered if a 4-4-2 diamond might work. Something like - Seedorf Warren Mckay Calder Raven Polworth-----------------Vigurs Mulraney Oakley Baird Seedorf and Calder could be allowed to bomb forward and it could possibly be the rejuvenation of Raven. His passing and distribution is decent enough but his legs are slowing up. Could he be re-born in-front of the back four, acting as a kind of deep ball winner and slipping into defence allowing the full backs to bomb forward? I think it could work.
  17. It's actually a line by Montgomery Burns m8.
  18. I see he also plays for the same team as Antonio Reguero.

  20. So, the caterpillar has emerged from it's cocoon as a shark. With a gun for a mouth.
  21. I know people are disappointed Draper has left the building and I know some people are going into meltdown that he's moved to County, but the issue for me is not the fact he's gone, or to where he has departed to. It's the fact that it essentially accepts that we don't have the drive to get promoted. We're content with slipping into obscurity and years in the wilderness. We've lost big players in the past, players better than Draper, and done alright, but this time there's just an accepting that the dream is over. So far, the only player I've seen rumoured to be coming in as his replacement is Ivor Lawton - a guy who's been crocked for the best part of two years and at the age of 21 has only played three first team games ever....for Nuneaton. This is after we've been knocked back earlier this season by a player from Buckie Thistle, a player from Cove Rangers and others (according to Robbo) from the lower leagues. As mentioned, in the past we've found ways to get by, but this time I've no faith in the management team or the board in order to find someone who can plug that gap. I heard from quite a good source a few weeks back that behind the scenes, John Robertson had been telling people that one of his new signings would reach the top - not just the top of the Championship, but the very top of Scottish football. The player's name......Felitciano Zschusschen. Oh.
