  1. It R-E-N-E-G-A-D-E not Renegrade.
  2. Apparently he's not actually manager, rather assistant manager. I see the Railhawks also have Paul Richie (as in the defender). Intersting quote from the Daily Record here: BRIAN IRVINE last night made a shock return to football as assistant manager of ambitious American outfit Carolina Rail Hawks. The former Aberdeen and Scotland star, sacked by Elgin last year, has jumped at the chance to help the First Division side in their bid to reach the star-studded MLS. I'm guessing that the Daily Record is making the point that he's going to help the Railhawks get promotion to the MLS. Which as far as I know, isn't possible.
  3. Wow! That really is constructive of you. Please continue, share your enthralling knowledge with us all.
  4. If ICT were to stay up (which I think they will) what sort of players and types of players are needed? A keeper is obviously one with Fraser offski. I'd be going after someone like Kasper Schmeichel or someone similar and getting them in on loan (cause ICT would never be able to afford to buy someone like that). I wouldn't be surprised to see McNulty away on loan again or gone for good for that matter as well. A couple of defenders would be quite good (preferably signing Pavels Mihadjuks on a proper deal) but also someone who can possibly play right-back to challenge Tokely and Proctor. Another big experienced centre-back would be good too. I'd also look at Munro and if his poor run of form continues bench him and if that means bringing back Bobby Mann and/or Darren Dods then so be it (both would be ideal and Big Bobby is a far better hoofer of the ball than Munro). Maybe one more midfielder with Black away, and I wouldn't be surprised to see McBain offski as well. (This is one part of the park that is arguably the area where the least changes need to be made). Up front is where one rather big change is needed. An accomplised striker is undoubtly needed in the summer. Foran might be able to score a shedload next season once he becomes fully fit but a striker who can knock them in left, right and centre would be perfect. Rooney is pretty good so keep him. I'd look at keeping Odhiambo and Morais as well. Stick Imrie in as an attacking midfield or back to the wing, keep Foran obviously and that leaves Barrowman and Wood. Barrowman comes back in, in the next few weeks so I'd like to see how good he is under Butcher but if he is still garbage, punt him. I'm not a huge fan of Wood so see how well he does for the rest of the season and if he aint that great, punt him too or maybe stick him out on loan again. So overall, not too many changes are needed just a keeper, a couple of defenders and a good striker.
  5. Just as well Clach didn't join the merger as well then. Who wants to sit next to some old smelly nut from Dalneigh?
  6. Third shirts are a lot of nonsense. If the home and away shirt of the away team clashes with the home shirt of another team, make them wear their their away top at home. What's so hard about that?
  7. Well obviously I do now. I understand that my post was inappropriate and will be carefull in the future not to be so stupid again. I'm sorry.
  8. So did I. Ah the old Carolina Railhawks, gotta be the best name in football (or is it soccer?) especially since the old Rochester Raging Rhinos changed their name to the boring old "Rochester Rhinos".
  9. Romanov! I see the dictator of Hearts is gonna run for president of Lithuania. I'll watch how this pans out with interest.
  10. And your point is caller?
  11. And I see that Markus Paatelainen signed for FC Honka a couple of months ago. Never heard about that.
  12. I'd say it's highly likely ICT will wear the blue home kit as they did earlier in the season.
  13. Absolutely right. These signs and all that other Gaelic nonsense is just ridiculous especially in economic times like this. It doesn't take a genius to work that the longer time you spend looking at the garbage on a roadsign, the less time you keep your eyes on theroad. I'm sure though that the Gaelic gang will come on here as they have done time and again going on and on about how "special" and "wonderful" their old Irish language is and how everyone Scottish person dearly loves it so much and would hate for it die. I suspect that most people, like myself couldn't give two hairy hoots if it dies or not. All in all, all of this Gaelic spending is just pure stupidity.
  14. Our good friend Zibi Malkowski! http://stomil.olsztyn.pl/Galeria-Zbigniewe...ilu,g156,1.html As you can see, big Zibi looks thrilled to be there.
  15. Link If you look at some of these formations from the Australian team under Guus Hiddink you'll see that they used the 4-2-4 formation against Bahrain and a few other attacking styles so these are still being used such as Japan's 3-3-4 and Australia's 3-3-3-1 . Also notice that Brazil used a slightly more defensive form of the 4-2-4. And also notice what Man U and Roma a now doing. They both use a 4-6-0 formation, with four players going forward in attack thus making the 4-2-4.
  16. Peter Lovenkrands! He was garbage. No he didn't. I'd go along with the Larsson,Laudrup,Gazza thing but if it were top four I'd say Russel Latapy as well too. i'm a big fan of lovenkrands. You must be the only one.
  17. Yeah, I know that I aint that stupid (as far as I know). But think about it. If the wing is blowing from the south to the north, if you were to knock the ball long and had a nippy forward who could get behind the defender what you could do is hoof the ball, the wind forward carry it over the head of the centre-back and then the forward could latch onto it and slip it past the keeper. If the wing is blowing from say the east to the west, then if the ball is croosed from the eastern side of the park then a driven will be some momentum and all it needs is someone to stick their head in the right direction and it's a goal. If you wanted a higher cross, you'd cross a higher ball in the wind so it stays up a bit, longer and then someone could try and knock it in. Simple.
  18. Depends who has the ball at the time.
  19. This is a serious question that requires a serious answer. Which way does the wind normally At Caley Stadium? Surely if you used the wind n certain ways and had the wind behind you, if would help with the attacking play. Thoughts
  20. What about these stunners girls?
  21. And why's that then?
  22. Eh don't think I did actually. You just need to bow down before my mangerial excellence after all I am an expert on these matters. Everyone knows my formations and line-ups would work as has being proven by the World Champions, I am the next manager in waiting but I am just waiting in the wings...for now.
  23. Notice that Lionel did not play in the last reserve game. Usually if a player is out for the next game through suspension then they play in the aforementioned reserve game as Tokely did last season. Also see what happened to Kyle when he got sent off for elbowing Proctor.
  24. Peter Lovenkrands! He was garbage. No he didn't. I'd go along with the Larsson,Laudrup,Gazza thing but if it were top four I'd say Russel Latapy as well too.
  25. Well, more strikers mean a stronger attack but I reckon that is perhaps the only place where ICT lack something at the momnet is up front. A prolific striker is needed in the summer.
